Gran Turismo Sport is a great game that takes a sharp turn in a direction completely different from the one that the series has always aimed at. The problem with this title is that it sits in a totally new gray area on consoles, and could therefore run the risk of not satisfying all players, and in fact let the long-time fans down.

Net of numerous positive aspects, such as the art direction, the level design or the humor that permeates the adventure, LEGO Bricktales unfortunately presents itself as an imperfect product. While representing the only major lack, the complicated control system that distinguishes the construction phases significantly inhibits the pleasure of the experience. A doubly unpleasant circumstance, given that the puzzles and puzzles proposed by the creative phases are genuinely stimulating and varied. As can be easily understood, given the belonging of the game to the LEGO franchise, the moments that require you to assemble the bricks to proceed in the adventure represent in fact the founding core of the production. This circumstance forces us against our will to penalize a title whose concept and creative potential would have deserved more.

Fable's wide open world is beautifully designed and wonderful to explore. The programming effort to shape the destiny of a nation in a fantasy setting was achieved only in part though. While its deep social interaction shines, the real gameplay is flawed by poor and uninteresting mechanics, from the quests to the shallow combat system.

Hot wheels Unleashed is, in some respects, a brilliant arcade driving video game. Simple, immediate, fun and just enough adrenaline, supported by an excellent technical department and which offers one of the best circuit editors that have been seen in recent years. However, it is not explained how such a well-made title can be inserted in such a cumbersome and counterintuitive menu system, in addition to the fact that in the face of an excellent interpretation of the Hot Wheels brand on an aesthetic level, it contradicts itself so evidently with the its management of the lootboxes, the underlying mechanics of the title that has influenced its internal balance in a way that is at least questionable.

Drifting is wonderful in front of such well-made backgrounds, especially if there is a varied but always perfectly apt soundtrack to frame it all. Ansdor's is clearly a passion project, the videogame equivalent of project cars that enthusiasts build in their garage with their own hands. Excellent in its extreme simplicity, varied in the offer and satisfies to drive pad in hand. Without a shadow of a doubt Tindalos Interactive has managed to pack an interesting horror-tinged adventure. What is most intriguing is the set of action, tactics and stealth proposed by the experience, which manages to competently return the atmospheres and tension of the Alien films. Basically, if you are a fan of xenomorphs you could give the game a chance but RTS fans will have to deal with a not very developed strategic dimension, a sometimes lame soldier AI and a series of bugs that in our test have caused some setbacks that are hard to ignore.

The Pokémon TCG Pocket must be analyzed for what it is, that is, a mammoth but clearly evolving work. It is the most ambitious digitalization ever of the popular card game, as well as the main attempt to modernize its core mechanics in a few years now. From a technical point of view, the mobile app is well made and collectors will be happy to spend hours and hours immersed in decks, binders and displays of their favorite Pokémon. At the same time, a sparing distribution of the rarest cards risks undermining the experience of all users, from those who just want to "catch 'em all" to those who aim to experiment with as many competitive decks as possible. For this latter type of player, however, the biggest obstacle to overcome is the simplicity not only of the mechanics, greatly streamlined compared to the originals, but also of the cards themselves. Simplicity that can make sense in an introductory set, of course, but which must absolutely give way to deeper strategies in the near future.

Bandai Namco's remaster of the first two Patapon games, cult classics relegated to a console now obsolete, is the best way to rediscover the charm of a saga that previously suffered from problematic porting. Pyramid and Japan Studio's absurd gameplay recipe, with its blend of strategy and rhythm with RPG elements, is still irresistible despite the repetitiveness that lurks at its core, partly due to a gameplay structure that thrives in short play sessions. This collection is weighed down not only by the absence of the third game, although the choice is understandable, but also by the lack of substantial additions that might have appealed to a wider audience than just those nostalgic for the original.

Essentially, Milestone continues to build upon the winning dual formula that marked something of a renaissance for the MotoGP video game franchise—doing so with an installment capable of appealing just as much to newcomers as it does to longtime veterans. The new physics model works well and is convincing; the new Career mode represents a distinct departure from the franchise's past (though there is still some room for improvement); and the Race Off mode is entertaining, finally incorporating street bikes as well. Whether you are a die-hard MotoGP fan or simply looking for a title to unleash your inner racer, this year's edition of Milestone's sports simulator might be exactly what you're looking for.

It is funny and various, even if the riddle resolution may seems too easy for the experienced videogamers. It was a real pleasure to send the Yokai back to their world. Ghostwire: Tokyo certainly has evident qualitative yields, sometimes leaving room for a certain playful and content redundancy, but as a whole it has a charisma that we believe deserves to be rewarded, either for the evocative reconstruction of Tokyo, or for the presence of a gameplay as simple as it is compelling, you want the attention paid to the writing and symbolism that characterize the stories of the city. Don't be fooled by the reduced duration of Seven's adventure: after the finale you will be delighted by numerous additions during the second game, and the new awareness gained in the course of exploring Aryish could push you to renew your approach, looking for other avenues. The narration will satisfy the fans of Isaac Asimov's great science fiction, with suggestions of a religious nature that recall the works of Roger Zelazny and Philip Kindred Dick; the possibilities for in-depth analysis offered by the documents then recall works such as The Talos Principle (2014). There remain some small regrets: we would have liked a greater characterization of the inhabitants, robotic and otherwise, of the planet Aryish, and on some occasions the lack of variety of enemies leaves room for a small dose of monotony. Vesper, however, remains a star that shines bright in the sky of Italian videogame development, and which we recommend without reservation.
