Net of some lightness, which concerns both the technical and the gaming sectors, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is a value package, which will not fail to accompany fans of the first hour on a pleasant walk down memory lane. Players less accustomed to the harshness of games of the past (we're talking about almost thirty years ago), may however find the gameplay of the trilogy rather indigestible. Since this is a collection of remasters, we cannot help but appreciate Aspyr Media's work, which earns a place among the most successful works of the British studio.- Everyeye.it

Ultimately, our encounter with Rematch gave us generally positive feelings. Sloclap has reinterpreted the rules of the game of soccer, declining them in a game context dedicated to pure fun, free from all the complications that have occurred in the greatest exponents of the genre in recent years. If you are passionate about the 'most beautiful game in the world' or are looking for a sports title to try your hand at, perhaps in the company of a close-knit group of friends, you should give it a chance: despite a certain lack of content and a few too many uncertainties in the management of physics, it is one of the most genuinely fun multiplayer titles that we have tried in recent times. Will it be able to make its way among the big names in the industry and stand as the 'next big thing' in a competitive landscape such as that of multiplayer titles? Posterity will decide.- Everyeye.it

Despite the twenty years on the monkey shoulders, the first Super Monkey Balls remain puzzle video games of superfine quality, albeit tough on the verge of sacrilegious imprecation. Retrogaming aside, Banana Mania is undoubtedly the best way to experience its spinning gameplay recipe, now also open to welcoming any newbies thanks to the introduction of some optional "assist controls". The picture closes with a wealth of content that not many other remasters can boast, although part of the secondary offer, in terms of accessibility, is essentially for a select few. Stuff to spin the ... balls.- Everyeye.it

Ultimately, Fae Farm looks like a fairy-tale microworld, in which adventure and life and farming simulator dynamics merge. Net of an extremely accessible gameplay for the reference genre and a modest narrative frame, the Phoenix Labs title presents itself on the market as a coherent and well-packaged product. In wanting to offer a fantastic setting in which to seek first of all lightness and relaxation, Fae Farm has a clear focus and manages to decline it in a pleasant way. For the more experienced user and lover of the more articulated expressions of the genre, the PC and Nintendo Switch title will hardly be able to offer something new, but the IP remains - in our opinion - a valid alternative for younger players or for those who is looking for an undemanding experience, but at the same time cared for.- Everyeye.it

EA Sports FC 24 is a football chapter halfway between revolution and tradition. Not the impressive step forward that one could expect from the heir to FIFA 23, but a simulator that entertains and pleases despite some recent and historical defects of the brand persisting. The obsessive search for realism, between increasingly realistic animations and a breathtaking glance, clashes with the usual approach to gameplay devoted entirely to speed and frenzy, in which it is very easy to dart into the penalty area but it is far too complicated to defend with clarity and constancy. However, EA Sports remains the only truly valid offer in terms of video game football in this generational parenthesis. Ultimately, thanks to a richer and more stratified range of modes than ever, we can say that Electronic Arts has brought home the result also for the 2023/2024 season.- Everyeye.it

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 lays the foundations for the future of the series and does so with solid gameplay and a wide and varied play offer, since in a single package you can find a good campaign, a not too rich cooperative mode of content but still fun and a multiplayer that will probably be able to entertain for months thanks to the post-launch support. The critical issues are not lacking but on the whole we can be satisfied with what Infinity Ward and the teams involved have managed to offer us.- Everyeye.it

Farming Simulator 25 is not a game for everyone, that much is clear. It is a complex title, and only those who approach it with certain types of mentality will be able to survive its seasons. Curiously, however, once you understand how it works it can also be extremely relaxing, thanks to the methodical nature of its cycles and mechanics, the calm that the sounds of nature transmit, the chirping and rustling of leaves under the pouring rain, even when in the background there is the roar of a tractor. The only shame is that there are technical problems that currently undermine its enjoyment and weaken its visual impact at times, and that we hope will be resolved as soon as possible.- Everyeye.it

We're sure that Tequila Works didn't want to revolutionize the platform adventure genre, and therefore we won't say that Song of Nunu is a failed mission. The intention was to focus on a story with different and more subtle tones, far from what was done in the other League of Legends spin-offs. Song of Nunu is, in short, a more intimate adventure, very story driven and with some combat here and there to embellish everything. There is no great depth of design, nor layered mechanics: all the environmental puzzles are accessible, as are the fights, and the entire experience proceeds in this style. A simple game that sometimes becomes elementary and imprecise. Intriguing for anyone who wants to know a few more details about Nunu and Willump, less remarkable for anyone looking for an adventure to remember.- Everyeye.it

Charts of Sennaar is an interesting puzzle game made with great care. The graphic and artistic sector is perfect for representing the symbolism contained in the "biblical" plot that unfolds between the floors of the novel Tower of Babel which is the backdrop to the gameplay. In the gaming field, then, the cycle of research, translation of the mysterious languages spoken by the natives, and finally the resolution of the resulting puzzles, offers great satisfaction, even in the face of a little too much backtracking and a pinch of repetitiveness in the long term which concerns the structure of the puzzles.- Everyeye.it

Voice of Cards is an operation of an uncertain nature: too little time between one chapter and another, too few changes, too much repetition of the same stumbles. Of course, there are some additions and it shows, in particular as regards the writing, which makes the typical style of Yoko Taro shine better, but exactly as in the previous chapter the game does not allow itself the time necessary to express itself at its best. Although the new class system has undoubtedly helped to rejuvenate the product formula a little, Square Enix's new "vision" continues to be too anchored to the traditions of the long-running Japanese saga, which this year celebrated its thirty-third anniversary. It is above all on the narrative level that Visions of Mana struggles to convince, as the title only gets into gear in the very advanced stages of the adventure and which we fear may only reach the most nostalgic fans of the series. Finally, everything is aggravated by a series of technical imperfections that we hope will be filed down through specific patches.- Everyeye.it

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is the worthy successor of the first chapter and collects many of its positive aspects, introducing innovations that broaden Milestone's proposal in terms of game modes, tracks and vehicle fleet. Thanks to the addition of jumping in particular, the gameplay can count on a new level of depth which goes well with the variety of challenges available. The pleasant campaign offers dozens of hours of gameplay and the possibilities offered by the track editor could be able to increase the longevity of the product in a concrete way. Kong Survivor Instinct is a simple game with a clear mission: to make us experience the tension of being hunted by giant monsters that try to crush us by demolishing everything in their path. A mission that is overall successful, but not flawlessly. The gameplay mix has its ups and downs, also due to the stiffness of the protagonist and the less than brilliant clashes with human enemies. Six years after the release of the remaster of Onimusha: Warlords, the re-release of Samurai's Destiny presents itself to the public as an operation substantially in line with the characteristics of its predecessor. Yes, the package is overall more complete and refined, thanks to the inclusion of a few more gems, but the overall value of the proposal is fundamentally the same. It is therefore a good way to get closer to the saga in view of the new chapter, taking advantage of the enjoyability of a gaming recipe that, net of the wrinkles on the face of the production, is supported by mechanics that are still valid, provided you face Jubei's journey with the right spirit.- Everyeye.it

Master of Magic, a remake of the 1994 strategy classic, brings back to life a perhaps unjustly forgotten title, but responsible as much as colleagues with the most high-sounding names for having contributed to the success of the 4X genre. Call of the Sea is an interesting but flawed experiment, denoting some (legitimate) error of inexperience. In general, the feeling is that of an adventure written in a pleasant and moderately enjoyable way to play, without ever reaching that status of a little gem to be discovered that in the past months had accompanied the arrival of the debut title. of Out of the Blue from Madrid. The cosmic deity imagined by H.P. Lovecraft remains immersed in his eternal sleep, because in the interesting video game concocted by Frogwares it is above all the influence of Arthur Conan Doyle that drives a narrative made up of investigations and common crimes, while the horrors of the astral planes remain hidden and can only be touched in short bursts. The plot of the work - which we remember to have been packaged in a very difficult context for its creators - maintains a good rhythm which leads us to overlook the excessive pathos of some exchanges and, although it does not propose anything original within the vast panorama dedicated to Sherlock Holmes, entertains for the approximately seven hours necessary to complete the adventure.- Everyeye.it

Star Wars Outlaws is a production that pays homage to the source material in the best possible way. Despite a few imperfections, the gameplay mix between action and stealth works, and the credit for this is also to be found in the beauty of the settings that form the backdrop to the high-risk missions faced by Kay and Nix. The reputation system is interesting and well-crafted, and gives the idea of being a scoundrel trying to survive in a world of unscrupulous criminals. A less empty open world that offered more satisfying activities would have made Outlaws shine even more, but in any case we are talking about a game that fans of the saga should not miss out on. In the seedy slums, where the help of the Jedi is absent and the law of the smartest prevails, with a sharp tongue and a "quick-legged" friend you can carve out a place for yourself in the great Star Wars universe.- Everyeye.it
