Suicide Squad is neither a very good single-player game nor a convincing multiplayer title. You can give it a chance if you like the DC universe, just don’t expect to be blown away. Kill the Justice League scores points for humor, a couple of fun battles or the opportunity to see iconic heroes portrayed differently and Metropolis razed to the ground, but in my opinion this is not enough.

Not as bad as some claim, but also not as good as its supporters believe. Skull and Bones is, above all, a solid base for further development, because it is through the prism of the announced improvements that we will judge this project in the future. For now, the game is okay, but only okay.

Based on a true story, this dark thriller (a mix between a point’n’click and a survival horror/stealth game) excels at creating an overwhelming atmosphere that brings to mind David Fincher’s “Se7en”. Boss battles are tedious and companion's AI is disastrous (which might explain why the puzzles are so basic and repetitive – that dumb rabbit probably wouldn't handle anything more elaborate). And it's not really a game for kids because on occasion it's rather difficult (partly due to abysmal jumping mechanics). Each time I put the controller aside after playing this painfully generic game, I was tired and bored. And I hated my job a little. [1/2013, p.60]

It would be hard to name a genre more trivial than rail shooters, but that’s not what bothered me the most about The House of the Dead: Remake. The game’s biggest problem is that its campaign mode offers literally half an hour’s worth of content. If you’re not a fan of replaying the same four levels over and over again to improve your high score, it’s hard to justify spending money on THotD.

Randal’s Monday is so packed with references to movies, books and other games that it’s bursting at the seams, but it never rises to the level of the works it mocks. [01/2015, p.77]

Despite technical issues and weak story I found Armikrog really engaging. [12/2015, p.66]

Of Ash and Steel aspires to be a juicy gothiclike product, but numerous bugs and flaws test the player's patience. A lot of work still needs to be done here to make it enjoyable to play.

It's hard to rate this game as it is very inconsistent. Good impression made by the music score is destroyed by terrible voice acting. Evading traps is fun but a moment later you're forced to use a simplified stealth system to trick dumb enemies. The sceneries can be really charming but the thrill is gone when a lifeless cut-scene kicks in. [June 2011, p.74]

Riptide does a great job as a co-operative action game and it tastes best played with friends. If someone is still hungry for some zombie slashing after having finished the original Dead Island, Riptide will provide same fun enriched with some new equipment and fresh gameplay mechanics. Unfortunately it repeats most of the mistakes of the predecessor. [CD-Action 06/2013, p.48]

One of the most undercooked Men of War games. Ukrainian studio rests on its laurels and needs a rival that would force it to do something new or at least let the World War II go. [June 2012, p.86]

Rather a form of interactive relaxation than a real challenge Tank Mechanic Simulator caters to a niche group of gamers who unfortunately won’t look past its shortcomings in graphics, irritating walks with metal detector or long loading times. [04/2020, p.79]

I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.
