Oct 4, 2011Whether you're a die-hard Spidey fan or just looking for the next great action-fighting game, Edge of Time excels in every aspect of game design with solid combat, fun navigational puzzles, and one of the best cinematic presentations of any Spider-Man game to date.

Nov 4, 2011I had high hopes with Spider-Man: Edge of Time after last year's Shattered Dimensions. I thought that having two Spider-Man characters instead of four would bring about a more cohesive story and more refined gameplay. While the story was tighter and the effects of making changes in one universe to affect the other were interesting, the gameplay didn't grab me as much as I thought it would.

Oct 6, 2011It's a capable superhero action game that demonstrates that the team is getting better at crafting a Spider-Man game, but like most comic-licensed properties there is still room for improvement.

Oct 21, 2011An honest action game, Spider-Man : Edge of Time demonstrates the ability of Beenox to manage the hero rather well, even though this episode doesn't surpass the previous one. There still a lot to cover before Spidey becomes as much of a videogame must-have as Batman did. It would require better environments, as well as a more ambitious storyline and storytelling with more than simple and usual game mechanics.

Nov 9, 2011While suffering from a lackluster plot, repetitive fights and, at times, confusing controls, there are also bright spots. The boss fights are challenging and entertaining, as are several of the puzzles. Spider-Man can't compete with Batman this time, but he may still be worth checking out if you're a fan.

Nov 1, 2011If superhero games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum is a well composed three course dinner in an atmospheric restaurant, this is the equivalent of a greasy, sloppy fast food meal. It satisfies some base instinct for the moment but will not leave a lasting impression. A lesser game than its predecessor, this feels rushed and sloppy. The story and voice acting impresses with its cleverness and realization, but is ultimately dragged down by repetitive and substandard gameplay.
