Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.- Carole Quintaine

We wondered if The Last of Us 2 would manage to surpass the giant The Last of Us. It’s done, no problem! Powerful, visceral, this follow-up highlights the talents of Naughty Dog who tell a strong, deeply human story with real meaning. Beyond masterful gameplay and the sublime universe of the game, the player is pushed into his entrenchments, facing himself, with rage in the belly, tears in the eyes and head upside down. Here we have the best remake of Resident Evil! Powerful and mastered to the end, this remake makes Capcom’s masterpiece even more monumental with magnified, new sequences, but also even more effective gameplay and a grandiose staging. The novelties of gameplay further nourish the survival aspect while the atmosphere becomes much more believable and terrifying than that of the original game. This remake is definitely one of the greatest survival horror games of all time. ABSOLUTE masterpiece.- Carole Quintaine

The improvements and features brought to GTA V on this new PC version offer the ultimate experience for one of the best games of all time! We could mention Raytracing, DLSS, and all the optimizations of the Online mode, but above all, the title remains an absolute masterpiece! In terms of writing, rhythm or gameplay, Rockstar signed a real gem in 2013, and we must admit that, 12 years later, GTA V is still as exceptional. The title is in any case much more than a game, it is a true phenomenon that does not age and of which we savor every minute, whatever the version.- Carole Quintaine

This PS5 version of The Last of Us Part 2 further enhances an already fantastic game, thanks to better technique, framerate and resolution, but also through more nervous sensations via the DulaSense. Let us add that the Lost levels and the comments offer a real immersion into the world of the game and will delight fans who are interested in the development of this masterpiece. The added Roguelike mode is rather nice without being a revolution, nevertheless, we cannot deny that this version is the ultimate version of the Naughty Dog title. Shadow of the Tree is a real game in its own right, generous, powerful, with almost perfect execution. It manages to completely separate itself from Elden Ring, with an identity of its own and an extremely careful atmosphere. Despite a somewhat "light" ending and a slight imbalance in terms of bosses, we emerge from this adventure with a feeling of exhilaration specific to great journeys. Yet another monument to be added to the long list of From Software masterpieces, a delight of incredible violence, a definitely enchanting journey. Masterful!- Carole Quintaine

Death Stranding 2 is a game of incredible grandeur. It follows in the footsteps of its predecessor while bringing enormous improvements to the quality of life of Sam Porter, and therefore of the players… Deliveries that aren’t always fun, hassles, long distances to cover… but all this to tell (extremely well) something so beautiful, so important. We love Death Stranding 2 terribly if we liked the first opus because it manages to make the ordinary extraordinary, by putting us in the shoes of this delivery man like no other, alongside complex and surprising characters, through such a dazzling universe… Because after all, what matters is the journey, right?- Carole Quintaine

A Plague tale Requiem is not far from a masterpiece. The quality of writing, the mastered narration and the density of the characters, this intense relationship between Amicia and Hugo offer the game an incredible emotional dimension at the heart of a journey through a world as hard as it is beautiful. The gameplay is much richer than that of the first installment and all the more effective even if the fights are not the most interesting moments of the adventure, especially when you rub against the body. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a good game and remains in line with the previous ones with the addition of only a few new features in the combat system besides the colony that brings a very nice RPG touch. Moreover, the return of the secret blade and infiltration possibilities add to the interest of the gameplay. However, despite a neat atmosphere and a story that holds in breath, the game remains quite classic in its mechanics. In addition, some visual details are a bit old: the faces in particular are still sorely lacking in life even if an effort has been made on this side, not to mention perfectible AI… A good Assassin’s Creed but one which would have benefited by more risk-taking.- Carole Quintaine

Star Wars Outlaws is a very good game with a neat, generous open world and extremely faithful to the Star Wars saga. The atmosphere is fantastic and we really find the atmosphere of the first films. The Uncharted-style sequences are really great to play and even if the infiltration moments end up being repetitive, certain parts will be unforgettable for fans of the saga, if only because we cross cult places. In addition, the reputation system reinforces the feeling of leading a real scoundrel's life, with real freedom and real consequences... The best Star Wars game I have ever played.- Carole Quintaine

Watch Dogs Legion is a very good game with which you don’t get bored! The ability to recruit an infinite number of characters with different abilities is enjoyable and the universe and neat, whether it is the story or the characters. This episode, without being a revolution, separates itself from the two previous ones and offers a fun experience that we do not want to let go. A single desire: to play to recruit activists, to hack a thousand systems and to liberate London.- Carole Quintaine

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut offers a very nice experience, very complete and extremely generous. Technically and artistically, the game is eye-catching and the game on Ikishima Island allows you to add even more relief to Jin Sakai and TO explore a sublime setting with pretty new features. The PS5 version also allows you to fully immerse yourself in the game with the functions of the DualSense which further energizes the action. The ultimate version of the Sucker Punch game.- Carole Quintaine

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is far from perfect, especially because of a lot of dated elements and a rigidity, but Machine Games' title has the merit of ticking the most important box: it's REAL Indiana Jones! The Studio has perfectly grasped the codes and DNA of the films to offer us a real adventure alongside the hero with the legendary hat and whip.- Carole Quintaine

A beautiful and deeply respectful remake of a Japanese horror classic, Fatal Frame 2 Crimson Butterfly Remake preserves the haunting atmosphere, tragic story, and unique Camera Obscura gameplay that made the original so memorable !Its many smart additions enrich exploration and combat, even if some longer encounters make the formula feel slightly more repetitive than before. A faithful and compelling return overall.- Carole Quintaine

Spider-man Miles Morales is an excellent game, with nervous and frantic gameplay thanks to the new Miles powers associated with the DuaSense technology. The scenario is controlled, the characters have relief, with what it takes surprises and reversals even if we can expect some things. Failing to have the dimension of its predecessor Miles Morales impresses with its graphics and has an identity of his own. A real success.- Carole Quintaine

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a very good game, with extremely neat gameplay between retro and new. Nostalgics will adore the deliciously 90s music without counting. Nervous and addictive, it offers an intense and arduous experience, while remaining accessible although too short, but with great replayability and appreciable winks for fans.- Carole Quintaine

Pragmata is a fantastic game with a beautifully crafted world! It offers unique gameplay, with a duality that might surprise some but works incredibly well once you get the hang of the hacking/shooting system. The combat is fast-paced and frenetic, and even if the loop is repetitive, it's genuinely enjoyable, especially since the two main characters are endearing and you'll want to see this adventure through to the end with them. Another great idea from Capcom.- Carole Quintaine

With Black Ops 7, Treyarch isn’t trying to revolutionize the series, it’s trying to master it, to make it more coherent and more generous. An intense, horror-tinged campaign, an ambitious and timely End Game, a sharper and richer multiplayer, and a Zombies mode that remains truly monumental, the formula is complete and effective. With its hybrid perks, consistently modernized gameplay, and unified progression system, Treyarch delivers a dense, coherent entry that feels perfectly tuned for 2025. A modern, fast-paced, intelligent Call of Duty, faithful to its heritage… yet clearly looking toward the future.- Carole Quintaine

Avowed is a good game. It’s a great adventure that pleasantly surprised me! The story is engaging, the fights dynamic and they offer a real freedom since the player will not be locked in a specific style and can use skills through all classes offered, without counting those of his companions. One of the great qualities of the title is also the exploration, at the heart of the experience, and we take a crazy pleasure to explore the magnificent scenery, to discover its every mystery. Dungeons, cities, desert expanses, I loved the different atmospheres and its universe particularly neat. Bravo Obsidian!- Carole Quintaine

Finally, even with its flaws (camera, perfectible AI, not very original screenplay...) Ghost of Tsushima takes you away. Its system of character evolution and its enjoyable gameplay make it a good experience, but it’s above all its highly elegant atmosphere that makes it the game, with details of absolute finesse and very cinematic sequences. The world offered to the player is a breathtaking beauty and one that yields an indescribable pleasure to roam. A sublime Haiku that feels like a graceful breeze around you after finishing it... Good Job Sucker Punch!- Carole Quintaine

n short, we find ourselves facing a real nightmare, in a neat universe where good ideas surf on reflection, perseverance and especially on a lot of pleasure. But who says pleasure also says frustration: sometimes, the difficulty is too full in the sense that the enemies too easily manage to catch you which can very quickly seriously annoy. Other small concerns of prospects can also spoil this pleasure at certain times and one could also add in the list of defects that some passages are too short and the or good ideas are not sufficiently exploited or deepened or on the contrary are repeated a little. Nevertheless Little Nightmares 2 offers a very neat universe, oppressing to the possible and its gameplay is very effective.- Carole Quintaine

Ghost Recon Breakpoint offers a vast universe, where the survival aspects have been strengthened from GR Widlands. If the game suffers from a perfectible AI and a clear feeling of "déjà-vu", it doesn’t take anything away from its effectiveness. It works well, especially in coop, while the PVP is viciously nervous. An imperfect title, but with great moments, and a huge potential if handled with care by Ubisoft in the coming months.- Carole Quintaine

Gears 5 proposes a breathtaking solo campaign and a generous array of multiplayer modes. Even if the recipe remains classic, we really want to go through with it. Mafia definitive Edition is a good remake. Visually, the game is sublime and the few small additions, especially concerning the driving are appreciable. If this 2020 version suffers from a lot of technical problems and cannot completely hide that the original game is 18 years old, the quality of writing and the mafia atmosphere offer a great moment of immersion in the underworld.- Carole Quintaine

REANIMAL feels like a natural, brilliant evolution of the Tarsier formula: more mature, more surprising, more layered, with co-op that’s genuinely well thought-out and an atmosphere that gets under your skin. A gorgeous nightmare, unsettling… and brutally effective, even if there’s that slight “been there, done that” vibe that’s starting to weigh on it. Monster Hunter Rise is a good Monster Hunter combining all the good ingredients of the license with a nice novelty: the Filoptères. These offer verticality and true dynamism to the gameplay with new possibilities. Everything seems faster, from harvesting to moving thanks to the Chumsky. The sets, the atmosphere, also contributes greatly to the quality of the overall experience, and if it is not a sometimes-capricious camera and some quests that get a little repetitive, we cannot blame the Capcom title much.- Carole Quintaine

The Quarry is a very good narrative horror game in the vein of Scream but above all it is the worthy successor to Until Dawn. With proven mechanics and a terrific atmosphere, it offers an experience that works very well, alone or with friends. It nevertheless suffers from the same faults as its predecessors with somewhat floating movements and sudden changes in camera angles, not to mention a few lengths in the dialogues. Anyway, it offers a very good 80s horror moment and we love it.- Carole Quintaine

Final Fantasy 16 is a very good game, offering a touching and extremely well-told story. We feel that the story of Valisthéa and Clive and his friends is at the heart of the experience, much more than the gameplay. The latter is enjoyable thanks to the use of the powers of the Primordials and the fights with the creatures are visually incredible. Despite a very interventionist format and uninteresting side quests, FF 16 takes us on board and leaves us with a masterful journey.- Carole Quintaine

Halo Infinite is a very good game with effective gameplay and a very immersive universe. We appreciate the freedom offered in the world that we take pleasure in discovering thanks to the use of the grapple. The progress of Spartan is satisfactory and the fights are nerve-wracking. However, the sets are not varied enough to travel completely and the activities are repetitive which makes the whole a bit redundant. But what is missing the most are great epic moments that could have made it an unforgettable Halo.- Carole Quintaine

Stellar Blade is a good game. It’s not unforgettable but what it does it does well! Its gameplay is neat, with an in-depth combat system and the encounters with the bosses are intense, probably a little too much in the last part of the game because they are poorly balanced in terms of difficulty. In addition, it is visually very impressive and offers an extremely attractive universe that we enjoy exploring, even if its story is classic. A very demanding Soul’s Like experience, in which we take pleasure in suffering.- Carole Quintaine

Call of Duty Vanguard is a very good COD, more intimate and more human than previous episodes. Yes, the title from Ubisoft is full of qualities, full of energy, full of color and it offers beautiful sensations to seasoned players and others thanks to many options of accessibility. The sense of travel (and speed) and freedom are at the RDV! Too bad that some problems of management of physics and a scenario a little pretext a little spoils the superb panoramas.- Carole Quintaine

Crisol: Theater of Idols has real personality. Its art direction and atmosphere land, and its core mechanic creates near-constant tension. When it focuses on exploration and puzzles, it shines, but it stumbles with overly long chases, repeated spaces, and a few technical or feel issues. Even so, it’s a strong pick for fans of systems-driven survival horror and exploration, if you can accept some padding and imperfections.- Carole Quintaine

Supermassive's title offers a unique and gloomy atmosphere! We appreciate the general intention, in line with the previous opus, with grotesque creatures and a fascinating overall aesthetic where we will face well-thought-out puzzles. Whether visual or in terms of sound design, we are tense from beginning to end and the universe is neat. It's a shame that the solo offers too much ease, the AI of the second character often spontaneously doing all the work and that the overall is undoubtedly too similar to the first two games in the series. Little Nightmares 3 remains, however, a good game and we have a very good (and horrible) time there.- Carole Quintaine

Dead Island 2 is not a revolution of the genre but it is damn effective! The good gore based on very precise dismemberment, the good ideas related to the effects, the character progression and the variety of the zombies provide a nervous and effective gameplay. If the scenario is simple as hello it follows with joy thanks to a great atmosphere, rhythmic missions and well-written dialogues. The fun music that contrasts sharply with the apocalyptic context and some very crazy situations make it a really good game. It's perhaps a little too linear and it's still classic, but we're having a lot of fun with it and that's what we like in this kind of game.- Carole Quintaine

Scorn is a very atmospheric and unique experience. The game offers an incredible artistic direction inspired by the work of Giger and a fantastic atmosphere, ultra heavy. The universe that the player discovers there is as fascinating as it is disturbing and the puzzles as brilliant as they are incongruous... No dialogues, advice, objectives. The player is alone, lost, like a true explorer. Even if the game is not for everyone, those who play it will remember it for a long time, that's for sure.- Carole Quintaine

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a declaration of love to the universe imagined by Akira Toriyama. The game is faithful while offering some new details to make the story even more coherent. The gameplay is easy to understand and the fast progression of the characters allows one to immediately take pleasure despite a capricious camera... All the narrative arcs are explored and thanks to the few original re-marketed musical pieces, we are totally immersed in the animated sequences. However, the RPG aspect is not explored enough and the world lacks some consistency. Even though Man of Medan is far less inspired than its studio predecessor Until Dawn, it offers an enjoyable horrific atmosphere, with good ideas and well thought out sequences. Unfortunately we would have appreciated more surprises and an extended lifespan, which would have given us the time to be really afraid. Everything is going too fast and we have the feeling that the story is sloppy. Too bad because this first chapter of The Dark Pictures has a good potential, but all it does is just scratch the surface.- Carole Quintaine

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3's single-player campaign offers effective moments but lacks pace overall. The open missions break the tension of the story and you have more of the sensation of playing a multiplayer experience. The freedom offered from the style of play is a bit illusory and what could have been a good idea does not work well here. It's still very good in terms of gameplay but we don't have the strength of the old solos and we're not carried away in the end, which is a shame. [Campaign Review Score = 65]- Carole Quintaine
