EA is back on track with this franchise and next year we should see even more improvements. Whether or not you'll be playing this instalment until then is debateable. As much as I have enjoyed my experience with NBA Live 10, it isn't going to hold my attention for much longer, save the local multiplayer.- AceGamez

NBA2K 10 falls down because it tries too hard to be a simulation, instead of just being a game.- AceGamez

If you’re a fan of Qix-style games and need to chew up 30 minutes of your life, give it a shot. Otherwise, there’s plenty of other indie titles out there that are a better way to spend a bit of cash.- AceGamez

For Dead Space fans, it’s a must play, but any Wii owner on the look-out for a game built for gamers and not the casual market should pick this one up. Would it be more fun as a full-fledged First Person Shooter? Probably, yes, but on its own merits Dead Space: Extraction is a huge success and perhaps the savior of its genre.- AceGamez

Undead Knights is a surprisingly playable little title. It’s innovations, such as making zombies allies rather than enemies and the things you can order them do make its gameplay refreshing enough to warrant a high amount of playtime.- AceGamez

It's a joy to see the Monkey Island franchise so thoroughly rejuvenated in this era of bigger, better and more bad-ass, and with great puzzles, good looks and such insight into the unique sense of humour that helped make this series so beloved in the first instance, Lair of the Leviathan is the perfect showcase piece for a studio hitting their stride at exactly the right time, and a fine, fun game besides.- AceGamez

The sheer volume of things to do and blow up is unrivalled, and the Geo-Mod engine spoils me so much that I don't think I'll be able to play another action game without expecting a similar, if not better use of physical destruction.- AceGamez

This is an essential purchase which is fit for burst play on the go and, control niggles aside, this is as charming and addictive as they come, with potentially staggering replay value as long as your imagination allows it.- AceGamez

There's very little in the way of any problems I could really find with the game, few criticisms beyond possibly the ÂŁ15 price tag being a little steep, but ultimately Zuma's Revenge! Is everything a good casual game should be, simple yet challenging, basic looking yet somehow still displaying a graphical quality that makes it's 2D looks spectacular, just like all Popcap games then, this sequel may not provide much new over it's predecessor, but it still has that addictive charm that makes it worthwhile investment for anyone with a few hours to kill.- AceGamez

Be you 6 or 60, IO Interactive have created a game that can be enjoyed by just about anyone, without succumbing to the pitfalls of modern day 'casual game' design, and in doing so have given this gamer hope for the future of family gaming.- AceGamez

If you have, or intend to, invest a massive amount of time in learning all the delicate intricacies of the IL2 series, then by all means give this latest addition a stab. However, if you simply wish to play an engrossing and hair raising thrill ride in the skies, you'd be much better off queuing up on the aircraft carriers in Battlefield 1943 for your chance to fly a plane for 30 seconds.- AceGamez

On the surface, DiRT 2 may appear to be a punkier, streamlined and therefore more diluted experience than its forebears, but this window dressing belies the complexity and depth on offer to even the most hardened rally purist.- AceGamez

Regardless of its shortcomings, the key selling point of ColorZ is the challenge it offers to the gamer, which, I hope I've already stressed, is present in considerable scale. So, if you're looking for a kick-back-and-relax experience, you can forget it.- AceGamez

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! -- A Reckless Disregard for Gravity's is a game reliant on skill. Section 8 lies paradoxically somewhere between innovation and mundanity: it has its moments (zipping around the battlefield in overdrive mode is a good laugh and the orbital drops are simply awesome) but for all its good intentions, it simply can't overcome its eventually-boring gunplay.- AceGamez

The major problem with this entry in the farming series however is that it's a sloppy conversion. From the controls to the fact that some people in the game refer to the R button on the Gamecube controller, there are too many things wrong with this version to recommend it to a Harvest Moon fan over the Gamecube and PS2 titles.- AceGamez

s always, it's tough to compare SingStar Queen to other games in the series, but for Queen fans this could well be the Game of the Year. The reason why the score above is that bit lower than the SingStar ABBA review is that the best of these songs have been knocking around on the SingStore for months.- AceGamez

If I may return to the slightly clumsy sandwich-based analogy that I began with, Fallout 3 DLC is like a BLT made with the driest bread possible; the best way to enjoy your sandwich is to throw the bread away and enjoy the flavoursome bacon, fresh lettuce and juicy tomato on their own. So forget about the stale crust that is Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta - take an Atkins diet approach and just head straight for the filling.- AceGamez

Invasion manages to veer wildly over the okay line; occasionally brilliant, oft times frustrating and more often than not simply dull, there's a decent game somewhere beneath the surface, but it's lost amidst bad decisions, repetitive gameplay and a drivelling mythos that very few people will care about.- AceGamez

Street Fighter has never really been a PC game – not only is the demographic between PC and console very different, control with a keyboard is difficult for games specifically designed for joysticks. As a continuation of the franchise, there is no doubt whatsoever that SFIV is a complete success. I’d warn you however not to pass this off as mere fan-boy fodder; even as a stand-alone game, or an introduction to the franchise, Street Fighter hits all the right buttons and is guaranteed to be a smash hit addition to your game collection.- AceGamez

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is certainly prince-like in terms of its presentation but pretty half-arsed when to comes to the gameplay experience.- AceGamez

Will you enjoy it? Yes - when you get the hang of the gunfights and the cover mechanic. Will you play it twice? Not on your life - unless you're a gamerscore-whore. Will you come back if Techland make a threequel? Almost certainly, if only to see if they can finally iron out the little niggles that still manage to hold this game back even after ironing out the little niggles that held back the first one.- AceGamez

Somewhere in Infernal: Hell's Vengeance is a solid if unspectacular addition to the shooting genre, but that game is buried under a pile of technical issues and poor design choices that ruin any chance that the game had of making an impact in an extremely competitive genre.- AceGamez

Fight Night Round 4 manages to deliver boxers and fights so convincing that they're realer than Evander 'The Real Deal' Holyfield, and at almost every point where the game could have become shallow and repetitive, its subtleties shine through to such an extent that you don't need to look at any other real world fighting games to find the greatest - the champ is undoubtedly here.- AceGamez

Overlord II is in many respects a breath of fresh air in a sea of samey shooters, racers and high octane action games. Seamlessly blending elements of puzzle, RPG and real-time strategy with a decidedly old-school action adventure foundation, it succeeds in providing a gameplay experience that while certainly not perfect, is a lot of fun, with landscapes that are a joy to explore.- AceGamez

For such an excellent game, a great deal of Overlord II is strikingly average.- AceGamez

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires likes to think that's it's a massive, deep game - there's even an encyclopaedia of historical events included in the start menu, so you can brush up on the background to your mindless slaughter - but the problem is, whilst it is certainly massive, it's a long, long way from being deep.- AceGamez
-
- Critic Score
Unfortunately, for everything that Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires does right, it does several things to remind you that this is the exact same game as DW2, way back in 2000; from the combat to the graphical design and quality, the series has been treading water for years.- AceGamez

With many full price titles lasting only a few hours with little replay value, Fallout 3 is yet to disappoint and I can happily say that Point Lookout is a near essential addition to the range, marred only by the limited length of the quests, meaning there's little reason to return once you're done, other than to scavenge.- AceGamez

While the PS3 and 360 versions have a substantial aesthetic edge, the Tiger 10 Wiilease is easily the most realistic of the three, allowing players of all abilities to seamlessly enjoy a proper round of golf or a party game together, proof - if ever any was needed - that with some considered creative design, inclusion on the Wii doesn't need to involve dumbing everything down for the benefit of the lowest common denominator.- AceGamez
