Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour takes the adorable charm of Mario and the world of the Mushroom Kingdom and mixes it in with a solid and surprisingly comprehensive game of golf.- AceGamez

One of the most sublimely designed inventory systems I've ever seen contains all the information you need about your party of warriors and more, presented in a way that is incredibly clear and easy to understand with the controller used fully to make navigating the various screens dead easy.- AceGamez

Ikaruga successfully blends nostalgia with new and modern twists in a usually very rigid genre, while providing a challenge that few other games come near to presenting, without ever feeling unfair to the player.- AceGamez

It is a gaming legend that is worthy of the name Zelda in every way. The cartoon graphics are the most fluid, gorgeous, lovingly crafted masterpiece I've ever seen in a game, with atmospheric music and realistic sound completing the experience.- AceGamez

People looking for a good side-scrolling game will enjoy it and Sonic fans everywhere will be delighted at another chance to return to the old-school roots that made Sonic so great back in the day.- AceGamez

Doubtless the best flight-sim ever made; startling realism, excellent graphics and addictive gameplay make for an award-winning title.- AceGamez

Graphical oddities aside, the gameplay is thoroughly entertaining, if a little limited by the repetitive nature of the missions (shoot down enemy biplanes, shoot down enemy balloons, shoot down enemy bombers and, did I forget to mention, shoot down enemy biplanes).- AceGamez

It's never going to win any awards for best game but it's fun while it lasts and you can't put a price tag on those nostalgic twinges you get whilst playing it.- AceGamez

Features some tremendously rewarding moments when you finally get the kill. Getting there however can be a frustrating and repetitive business.- AceGamez

The run-and-gun portions of Dead to Rights come together so perfectly that you become enraptured by your ability to take down hordes of bad guys in classic Jon Woo style. It's these intense, visceral, wicked gunfights that make you forget reality and draw you completely into Slate's fantasy world of fast and furious gun-slinging action.- AceGamez

Mastering each character, unlocking the hidden fighters and seeing everything the game has to offer makes Deadly Alliance a game that will last you a long, long time.- AceGamez

Although featuring the most realistic and detailed graphics, lighting and animation you've ever seen with sound effects to match, it's still the gameplay that shines the most, combining a sublime mixture of stealth and combat with the most versatile range of moves, gadgets and tactics ever to feature in a stealth game.- AceGamez

Metroid Prime stands up not only as the most original, diverse and simply awe-inspiring game on the Gamecube, but as one of the five best videogames I have ever played.- AceGamez

Star Wars: Episode II: The New Droid Army had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the developers have managed to spill most of it, leaving this game only a little better than mediocre.- AceGamez
-
- Critic Score
It's above average and makes a change to the rest of the fighters, with its massive monsters destroying cities as they fight, but its bound to get lost amongst the more appealing games in the genre.- AceGamez

Atmospherically the game is without rival and the sense of community is absolutely charming.- AceGamez

While kids will love the bright and colourful characters and graphics, adults will love the subtle nuances of collecting, decorating, Feng Shui, natural history lessons and sheer delight of pleasures as simple as catching a huge bass in the nearby river.- AceGamez

Turok Evolution is certainly a decent enough game, yet it does feel a little bit short and lacks in replay value.- AceGamez

A good port of a great game and even though it's very easy on the hardest settings there is still enough here to keep players occupied for a while, especially on those long road trips or just while sitting on the toilet.- AceGamez

It's these intense, visceral, wicked gunfights that make you forget reality and draw you completely into Slate's fantasy world of fast and furious gun-slinging action. Sadly, the beat 'em up sections of the game mar what otherwise would have been a perfect title.- AceGamez

And, if like the majority of the gaming community, you jumped on the Crazy Taxi bandwagon a few years back, then you've already seen pretty much everything the game has to offer.- AceGamez

A groundbreaking PC game that supremely talented developers Ion Storm somehow managed to squeeze onto the PS2, all the more amazing considering that there's no hard drive to work with.- AceGamez

It all looks lush and the gameplay is surprisingly enjoyable despite the frustration, but it's not one for the casual gamer.- AceGamez

If you get this game, keep a copy of the Yellow Pages ear-marked on the Home Help page -a willing matron supplying bed-baths and spoon fed dinners may be needed as you turn your characters into mini Goliaths.- AceGamez

The last thing about the gameplay I want to bring to your attention are the glitches that somehow got by undetected by the six testers listed in the credits. These range from projectiles colliding with your opponent but having no effect, to performing fatalities then having the game crash. With six testers on board, that's pathetic - did they even play the game before its release?- AceGamez

A nice, fluffy Bomberman clone, which despite being fun at first, is worth it only for the multiplayer side.- AceGamez

As downright horrible as this pitiful attempt at a wrestling game was, it did hold a lot of promise for things to come and what could happen if the developers were given the opportunity to do it right.- AceGamez

Whether you're a fan of the genre or just curious, B-17 deserves your attention.- AceGamez

Its main selling point is realism, not in all aspects but enough to make the game more unique than it would first seem. It's flawed, but if you give it a chance you'll discover a reasonable game wrapped up in an excellent story.- AceGamez

And while the graphics are fun, the translation into 3D has been totally mishandled and lost the whole appeal of the gameplay.- AceGamez

For a mere 30 quid, I have hundreds of hours of fun lying ahead and I can honestly say that having played computer games for nigh on 16 years, Football Manager 2006 is quite honestly the best I've ever played.- AceGamez

It does nothing amazing, but it puts some spring back into the step of the adventure game genre and hails back to the quality and humour of Lucasarts classics of yore.- AceGamez

When you've got a series that already has such a high level of quality, the real skill lies in not changing all those things that work perfectly well and ensuring that the adjustments and additions you do make improve on what has come before. In both these regards Football Manager 2007 can be considered a success.- AceGamez

Unforgiving difficulty and lack of any real improvements to the series' tried and tested formula aside, Massive Assault Network 2 is an immensely enjoyable experience.- AceGamez

Xyanide Resurrection is not a good game to play by any stretch of the imagination and, unlike other games that I would gladly go back to time and again, this one was banished from my PSP the moment I had done my duty and reviewed it.- AceGamez

A Vampyre Story isn't perfect but it's a strong entry into the point and click world, with much more charm and character than many other recent releases.- AceGamez

Undercover: Dual Motives is a featureless landscape of a game that whilst visually respectable is horribly cliched with poor writing, shallow stereotypes instead of well formed characters and a largely uninteresting story.- AceGamez

Paint by DS is absolutely accessible regardless of age or gender and comes highly recommended - if it doesn't blow the casual gaming market open even further then I'll eat my French beret!- AceGamez

There is strategy here but it's too specific for its own good; certain moves must be countered in certain ways or you'll take damage. This is a shame, because Doodle Hex shows a lot of promise.- AceGamez

Despite being simple, Death on the Nile sometimes lets you down by failing to register when you click on an item or not explaining clearly what it wants you to do when it tries to make things slightly more exciting by getting you to move objects around.- AceGamez

My advice is to stick to a console version unless you really want an SNK game for the road, as there are several better choices for a fighting title on GBA than this.- AceGamez

The Pinky and the Brain mini games are hilarious and break up the action, and while the story is almost none existent there is an overall goal to find all the Edgars and really that's all a small mind needs to be burdened with.- AceGamez

There's something here for stealth fans, the puzzlers amongst us and those that like a good laugh, but the patience involved in moving from one level to another may have the casual gamer reaching for a title that provides more instant gratification.- AceGamez
