As an interactive audio book The Dwarves works surprisingly well even though some of the cutscenes seem rushed. But as soon as you enter the battlefield the fascination fades and is replaced by hectic, chaotic and sometimes buggy skirmishes.- 4P.de

Even the inconvenience aside that this year (unlike 2016 and 2015) the console DLC is not included and has to be paid for separately the direction of the dominant wrestling franchise is still unclear. You have more wrestlers than ever before, but with just marginal enhancements of the proven fighting mechanics and reduction of modes you wonder what’s next.- 4P.de

For me this Need for Speed is the equivalent to a Honda Civic or Toyota Prius: You can take it out on the road, but there are so many better cars out there. While borrowing heavily form the Fast and Furious franchise as well as from games like Forza Horizon, Burnout Paradise and The Crew it misses to establish its own identity.- 4P.de

The gesture recognition works well, the pacing of the fights in this fantasy rail shooter is well executed. The coach riding as well as looking after your horse lacks variety though. In its best moments, this journey delivers a solid experience, in its worst it is just boring.- 4P.de

Like its PC brother War Logs starts as an ambitious roleplaying game drawing me in with its opening sequence and fresh scenario. The battle system works well, so does the crafting. The mix of tower defense and action still works as it did a few years back. But since the premiere of Toy Soldiers a lot of games mixed those elements. And in the end the war chest contains nothing to beat the competition once more. But then again: What you get is quite entertaining.- 4P.de

The courses look better than ever on consoles, even though the change to Frostbite also shows some significant hiccups. And while the mechanics are rock solid as always, hardcore fans might feel ripped off since content was scaled down. I was thinking long and hard if I should ignore this game or trash it. But in the end it cost me too much time and too much nerves. It starts well: The presentation reminds you of Blizzard and I like the idea of slow paced progress. With a steep learning curve and the focus on multiplayer team duels this is not for everybody. But Cherry Pop Games managed to capture the team dynamics that are necessary to have success together. As far as Karaoke games go, at its core SiNG Party is as good as any: The recognition works well, the tracklist is as big as varied. Unfortunately you won't see any original videos and the lyrics of some songs have been edited to become family friendly. The Technomancer tries to make an effort. Almost every aspect that you would expect from a roleplaying experience is there. Multifaceted character development, party-interaction, decisions with consequences, crafting, stealth. But there is not enough quality, everything seems superficial. Nihilistic proves that ego-action finally can work rather well on mobile platforms – in theory. But as part of the Resistance franchise Burning Skies is rather disappointing. The formula has been boiled down to run of the mill action with unbelievable characters in rather bland surroundings and forced touch controls that will distract you more than they will help.- 4P.de

While the sniping core is solid and entertaining (if the AI doesn’t show its ugly side) and the drone enhances the choice of options, there are too many unnecessary ingredients that distract you more than it is helpful. Mythic said they want to treat the source with respect. They said, that the ultimate rpg series returns. But is is a slap in the face at the latest when you are invited to watch a trailer for FIFA. The paywall come later and are not as evident as in Dungeon Keeper, but nonetheless this is fantasy fastfood that result in aversion instead of immersion.- 4P.de
