Jan 20, 2015It is not for the faint of heart, nor those who struggle with depictions of depression. For those who are up to the task, it is a brilliant and cold struggle that will challenge you both as a human and as a gamer, and I’d call it one of the best arguments I’ve seen for games as an art form.
-
Jan 15, 2015Disorder is a platform with great ideas and a good level design, but many sections are frustrating and dull. Switching between two versions of the past is a well-implemented mechanic, both for the narrative and the platforming, but the game lacks balance.
-
Feb 1, 2015Disorder is a short platform game about depression and trauma processing. If you like the idea, try it.
-
Feb 26, 2015I can’t recommend Disorder to anyone, be it puzzle aficionados or fans of gut-wrenching stories. It could have been appealing to hardcore veterans of N and Super Meat Boy, but there are too many better alternatives nowadays.

CD-ActionMar 17, 2015A decent platformer that you could launch after work to relax if it weren’t for its pompous sad atmosphere and exalted bullshit about suffering and mental illnesses that are being shoved down your throat. [03/2014, p.69]

Jan 15, 2015Good idea, bad delivery. Unfortunately the very interesting story premise is not enough to fuel this pixel platformer.
