    Disorder is a platform with great ideas and a good level design, but many sections are frustrating and dull. Switching between two versions of the past is a well-implemented mechanic, both for the narrative and the platforming, but the game lacks balance.

    Disorder is a short platform game about depression and trauma processing. If you like the idea, try it.

    I can’t recommend Disorder to anyone, be it puzzle aficionados or fans of gut-wrenching stories. It could have been appealing to hardcore veterans of N and Super Meat Boy, but there are too many better alternatives nowadays.

    A decent platformer that you could launch after work to relax if it weren’t for its pompous sad atmosphere and exalted bullshit about suffering and mental illnesses that are being shoved down your throat. [03/2014, p.69]
