   Love this game, something different from usual FPS and 3rd person game. Most games have same/similar story and can be boring. People do say that Ryse is repetitive but are not all the other games repetitive? E.G shooting enemies in different maps. People are annoyed because of short campaign but like all of the crytek games have short campaigns.… Expand

   I'm a massive classical antiquity buff, fan of Greek/Roman lore. So perhaps that makes me a little biased, however I have to say this game is absolutely incredible for it's genre! Having played and really enjoyed other games such as Lord of the rings; this game is likewise amazing. It not only has the best graphics I have ever seen in such a title, but every little detail has been painstakingly molded. It seamlessly transitions from the story to the game-play, the story-line is fantastic, very well acted. Amazing animations. Oh and really enjoyable combat. Then it also has multiplayer.... Cannot fathom why anyone would give it less than 8..… Expand

   Боевая система хоть и не перегружена, но очень эффектная.

   Боевая система хоть и не перегружена, но очень эффектная.
   Сюжет же одно из главный достоинств игры, как и главный её недостаток. Сама же история хоть и не блистала оригинальностью (прим. эпизод с гладиаторскими боями), но внушала, работала и погружала.
   Возможно, в какой то момент, кто-то из производственного процесса посчитал, что крестьянам будет скучно играть в серьёзное произведение и на кой-то притянули сюда фэнтезийные элементы. В самой игре их мало, но на их основе решили склепать концовку. Концовка настолько плоха, что убивает всю мотивацию и логику. Вырежь ты этих божков, дай персонажам (людям) отвечать за свои поступки, то мы могли бы получить настоящее драматическое произведение о преданности, предательстве и зависти. В место же этого всё переложили на совесть богов. Не буду спойлерить, но концовка поражает своей бессмысленностью. Хоть финал и обесценили, всё же сама игра и практически все её аспекты находятся на высоком уровне.

   You start the campaign and this game feels real, visually beautiful, sound is amazing, gameplay with orders and fighting feels really awesome, finishing moves are fresh and entertaining with more than one enemy at a time, and the story is longer than expected and fun throughout.
   But if all the presentation and gameplay feels better than any previous attempt at a game like this, the story has been done a million times, especially in Roman times which makes the game feel more generic than ever, especially for a game that is coming out with the console... just wanna show it's capabilities and done.
   Multiplayer actually has lots of depth but too much grind and repetition for my tastes.
   In a discount price, definitely a buy.… Expand

   Amazing graphics, superb voice acting, epic settings (when you act as the commander) and the cut-scenes are beautifully animated. Very linear and combat can be repetitive but once your unlock all the combos and executions, it is very fun to watch. Would've liked the world being explored or expanded more, but gotta give credit where it's due to say it's one of the best gladiator simulator/soldier/commander simulator out there.… Expand
