Spectrobes: beyond the portals has improved some parts of the previous game, the missions and excavation mechanism, however, are found to be linear and repetitious. The rich multiplayer mode, anyhow, offers many alternatives and there are tons of spectrobes waiting for your collection.

Those who want the real Bionic Commando experience should try the original one, or if they are in the graphic and technological mood maybe the Rearmed remake. By the way the new Bionic Commando is a nice action effort, but maybe too cyclic and little bit unresponsive at times.

Life is Strange 2 tells us a new story to address some of the most complex issues of modern society. It usually does it with skill, as there are good pens in the studio, but some forced situations can make it somewhat implausible at times.

Bloober respects the formula created in the original for this sequel, changing the scenario, but keeping its horror approach. That means a lot of linearity, repetitive resources and jump scares, but also a few lessons learned.

Crossing Souls is a good adventure game inspired in the best films and video games of 80'. It's funny, clever and beautiful, but is missing more puzzles, a better combat system and more original story.

Silent Hill: Homecoming is just an enjoyable horror game but, at this time, its also the best Survival Horror of the present generation of consoles. Easy combat, classic puzzles and extraordinary atmosphere for a game that obviously needed a deeper, not so simple, gameplay.

TT Games offers another fun and entertaining LEGO adventure, this time based upon the Ninjago franchise. Kids will enjoy it for sure.

Virtua Tennis 4 is great fun for newbies and hardcore players alike, a good arcade experience, but Top Spin 4 is surely the best choice available among the tennis simulations.

Code Vein has a good approach, changing the classic level system with a new one that allows multiple configurations and presets. However, the challenge is too easy and ends up not taking good advantage of this system. This added to a very loose story that constantly interrupts the action and a level design that is too simple for the genre, takes a lot of interest away from the game.

Darksiders III takes on the return of the series with a lot of limitations regarding the other two entries. It’s been reduced in terms of exploration and puzzles, giving more prominence to the combat.

It ends up being a L4D game that still manages to pull some personality out of the original film. Not a big deal, but still a fun experience to play with your friends.

Gods Will Fall is full of good ideas, such as its combat system, balancing the benefits of taking certain risks, the evolution of our warriors, the management of the group based on external factors and how I advise them or the dedicated design to the various dungeons. However, its failures in the collision system, an enemy AI that can be improved, some crashes and the possibility that it will unbalance its difficulty too soon, dilute the good feelings that it transmits in its first bars.

Dante´s Inferno on PSP is the same game than PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. It means It has the same storyline, the same issues on the control but with a great difference: This is PSP. This PSP version has a top technical visuals and take more advantage of the capacities of the portable system.

This portable version is even more enjoyable than the original title for Wii U. It's better on the New Nintendo 3DS, but it's still a good choice for every action lover who own a 3DS.

A deep, engaging and enjoyable strategy sim that requires too many hours of “placid” gameplay… and a hardcore profile as a gamer to really enjoy the whole experience the game has to offer.

Dustforce is an addictive and challenging 2D platform game.

It hasn't any interest for hardcore gamers, but it's a suitable game for the youngest players. An action/adventure game with some camera and control issues, but with also a charming artistic design, similar to Pixar or Dreamworks animation films.

When it does it right, Ronin creates beautiful and deadly choreography. But when it does it wrong, there's too much frustration in these action and turn-based puzzles to enjoy it fully.

Jett Rocket is short, yes, but it's one of the best-looking WiiWare games.

Warriors Orochi 3 is an outstanding game in its category. One of the best Musou action games out there.

In many ways it is a worthy tribute to its predecessor, achieving it especially well in the most purely storyline face and in its modern graphic adventure mechanics thanks to the hacking system.

Skate It offers a serious experience of this extreme sport. The Skate's intuitive control won't be for everyone and the graphics need to be improved too. With patience and effort this game can provide a great experience for players.

Halo Wars 2 is a fun strategy game with epic action moments and addictive multiplayer, but its gameplay is not very complex and feels a bit limited.

The new entry in the long-running puzzle series is fun in short burst, but it just doesn’t bring anything new.

Is hard to recommend Scorn because it has an incredible art design and a great setting, but it also is a very obtuse adventure puzzle game. Maybe you can feel frustrated when you don't know how to resolve a puzzle, and its combat are very simple and boring. But if you connect with Scorn, it will be an incredible experience. The first expansion of Spore is a triumph because of its accomplished attempt to bring something different for the fan. The deep mission editor is its main goal.

One could say New World is basic. And it definitely has some weird design choices scattered around progression, economy and world. There’s the graphics card issue too. And yet, something as simple as existing in Aeternum is fun and amazing: loved the aesthetics, the sounds, the animations, the combat, the progression. An experience too appealing to ignore.

Sonic Classic Collection brings to life six original Megadrive games on the Nintendo DS. The new features include a new save game system and some extras with collectible pictures. The game has same issues with the framerate and with the visuals, but preserves the same original playability.

Maquette is a good puzzle game that does not get rid of some inconsistencies, its control and the design of some of its puzzles have room for improvement, as well as the integration of its narrative with the playable mechanics. However, he knows how to keep his puzzles fresh faithful to his idea of perspective management until the end of the adventure, managing to evoke emotions in the player through the artistic and sound section of him. I have really enjoyed the 3-4 hours that the title lasts, being a very pleasant experience which, despite its possible shortcomings, I have to recommend to those who like the puzzle genre and the more purely narrative adventures.

This package is incomplete and visually isn't smooth, but includes two awesome videogames. If you haven't played Silent Hill, HD Collection offers an amazing value for your money with two amazing examples of the survival horror genre.

Remember Me is not a bad game, but it's also far from being as good as we all expected.

Burial at Sea is a great ticket to go back to Rapture.

Beyond: Two Souls is an emotional and amazing movie-like trip.

Legends of Wrestlemania pays tribute to the classic WWE wrestlers and to the 80's & 90's generations. It's an easy-going gameplay experience for the new casual players interested in the classic legends. The huge and amazing videos and the Wrestlemania Tour mode are some of its best points. It is not the best wrestling game but is the only one offering a link between the past and the present of the WWE.

Fast and furious 2D action side scrolling adventure which resembles the glorious 16 bit era. A bit short, but still a slick classic production.

While Alice: Madness Returns has a number of problems, its artistic side and its genuine concept calls off the bad. This is a game that truly could have outshined American McGee's Alice with its interesting production values, but instead it leaves us slightly disappointed.

Another musou from the best studio in this kind of productions, Omega Force, a game granted with a gorgeous selection of Tecmo Koei characters such Ryu Hayabusa, William Adams or Kasumi.

Metal Slug 7 comes to Nintendo DS with the whole magic of the classical franchise. Totally faithful to the original game, it doesn´t need any innovations, but in these times the experience is a little limited for the home consoles. Unfortunately it doesn't have a multiplayer mode. A perfect game for the followers of the series.

Tenchu: Shadow Assassins redefines the series in a videogame more reflexive and less action paced than its predecessors. It's difficult, it's engaging, it's exciting and it's very inmersive. If you want to act like a real ninja, this game is definitely for you.

Almost a straight 3DS port of the DS Japanese counterpart. Fun and lengthy, but a bit redundant.

Nintendo and Camelot has created a new Mario Golf for Nintendo Switch. It is fun, it has an adventure mode and it also innovates with the quick golf matches. However, it also lacks contents to justify weeks and months of playing.

A must-own for Dragon Ball fans.
