Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has in its favor the shortage of titles with similar characteristics on the market. Its accessibility and adaptability to any player is, by far, its greatest success. However, the progress that the saga showed with its predecessor in 2019 has been cut off, we are facing a less ambitious delivery than one might expect. The truth is that, without being completely upset, I expected a lot more from it, having left me somewhat indifferent. There are better alternatives in the genre, even within its own saga.

Set in the Middle Ages, War of the Roses is a very innovative and addictive multiplayer action game. Clearly inspired by Mount & Blade, its combat system is fast-paced and the customization is addictive.

Disciples: Liberation is a tactical RPG in which you will have to make many decisions that will lead to different endings. However, and despite being a very complete game in terms of mechanics and details, with a good number of dialogue options, its long duration ends up taking its toll. The overexposure of its mechanics of alliances with the different factions of the game and, above all, the little challenge that its fights end up supplying as soon as you focus on doing something other than its main campaign, weigh down too much the experience of a title that goes from more or less. It would be a total recommendation if they had focused more on creating a tactical challenge to match and less on filling in hours of gameplay in missions that often appear little contextualized for what CRPG lovers demand.

Mini Ninjas is a likeable want to be, but it´s no more than that. It could be an awesome videogame, but IO Interactive didn’t know how to develop its good and innovative premise.

Digimon strikes back with another JRPG adventure plenty of digital worlds to explore, creatures to collect and battles to engage. Not the best or the most original game around, but a good one indeed.

The return of Frank West and Willamette is not enough to turn Dead Rising 4 into a competent video game. The absence of the iconic time trial turns the title in one of the easiest rides of the franchise. Layers of Fear is a well executed title, which focuses on the linearity and jump scares rather than psychological terror. But his biggest setback is a story that could have given more of itself for enjoying this "ghost train" more than just going through it.

There is not too much charm in this new iteration of the Serious Sam series. Before First Encounter lacks of imagination and talent, and the game doesn't live up to the excellence of its antecedents.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War brings the best from this franchise along with a pretty nice diversity of new opponents to kill. It’s fun at times, but still lurks way behind current zombie games.

Legend of Mana will appeal to lovers of the classic RPG, the combats remain as they were and this is something as good as bad according to the eyes of those who look at it. The musical instrument creation system and monster hunting are very entertaining. However, its narrative is too messy, the artifact system can make you take more than one unnecessary lap, and its story ends up paying for it in terms of intensity and pace. Despite having a good number of improvements in the quality of life for the user such as quick saves or deactivating the combats, as a remaster it falls short compared to other works done with the saga.

This independent game is genuinely clever stuff. A great indie game.

DR2: Off the Record is a great opportunity to experience the great Dead Rising 2 if you've missed out the original.

Need for Speed: Heat needs a better balance, both in the progression system and police chases, to make it all fun, instead of frustrating.

The first steps with the game give us good impressions but later the game shows a repetitive way, an annoying save system and a strange gameplay mechanic.. A great game mixture of FPS and survival horror.

Prinny: Can I be the Hero? is a complex platformer with burst of actions where the story is all based upon the Disgaea Universe, offers a pleasing experience for gamers. It is an innovative game of humongous difficulty and limited control, although there is a great sense of humor and a nice artistic touch.

Proteus is beautiful. It's a different sort of interactive experience that needs to be seen.

A new example of a great concept poorly executed. The Saboteur could be a surprisingly good sandbox if Pandemic just finished it. This game has neat ideas and the potential for being funny, but its gameplay suffers because of its weak development.

Mousecraft is a good puzzle title.

Chasm is a more traditional offer in the metroidvania genre, without modern fusions with the roguelite genre or souls mechanics. Its bet is that of continuing with a deep, backtracking exploration and to rise up the challenge in basic enemies, with a variety of patterns to learn. The same occurs with the platform elements, more challenging than classic metroidvanias.

Not a bad game, but far less inspired for anyone looking for more of this universe, and I think it's time for Digixart to look for new ideas beyond the Petria frontier.

Still being a solid product with lots of hours of game and tons of pure football, but it has no regrets with the player base who buys the game every season.

Jotun is an epic adventure game that surprise for the colossal scope of its battles and beautiful art style.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is quite enjoyable and brings some much-needed new ideas to the genre. I loved the gunplay, the open-world maps and the vehicle system. However, the whole game is dragged down by its lack of content and repetitiveness. It’s a shame, as the fundamentals to build something truly great are indeed there.

A new classic for the LEGO franchise. Maybe not the best of all, but nonetheless a very deep and fun adventure-sandbox game.

Maybe moving the Medal of Honor series to the present day is the right commercial decision, but to compete with a saga like Modern Warfare you need to develop a more compelling gameplay experience. Also the game is incredibly linear with just run and gun action for all its campaign, and the multiplayer part is good, but maybe not great enough to make this a real contender for Call of Duty.

WWE '12 is the best game of the series. It is the more polished and a very solid base for a new wrestling franchise to be built upon.
