    The Game had its flaws, seasons was meant to be what we were waiting for, instead they nerfed everything. xp and lvling were rough but now they are unbearable clearly blizzard have no idea what their fans want, the game is unplayable making already annoyed fans like myself quit the game until they fix it or just move on entirely. This game will die completely in its current state.

    Game is not enjoyable, but only artificially extended time consuming trash fest where nothing works properly paired with the fact that the dev teams are not even talking between themself about the changes they are doing, and don't get me started on all the lies    Game is regular cash grab.

    what at first glance looked like it had potential the developers failed to address anything a game in this genre needed.     the worst patch, looking at it, the desire to play further in the season and in general disappears!!
    the patch is terrible, and so after 80lvl it was tedious to pump the character further, so after the patch it became even worse, they reduced everything that was possible

Sadly, Diablo 4, after a smooth launch, just absolutely destroyed their game with this new patch. And I'm going to explain exactly WHY they did this.

    Diablo 4's latest patch has everything to do with destroying the Eternal Realm. Yes, the Eternal Realm may seem "less important" because it won't feature these cool seasonal mechanics that we're supposed to enjoy, but, you can't access, you guessed it: The Battle Pass, in the Eternal Realm.

    Big shocker right?

    When you start to think logically that all of these "game designs and mechanics" were built around a corporate "for profit" scheme, you will understand that the Blizzard that used to exist, is simply a corpse that has been exploded by the greedy Millionaire/Billionaire Necromancer's, that prop up this corpse of a company.

    They sucked the soul out of this game, which actually had a solid foundation, and only needed a few solid tweaks to really solidify it's future, however, these corporate idiots cannot comprehend that empathizing and understanding your player base over making disgusting greedy decisions isn't possible.

    Why else would they reduce cooldown reduction by 30%? It's arguably the most important nerf in this new patch. If you can't reset your cooldowns fast enough, you can't use your skills faster, ultimately, slowing down the game and progress you would've made in the game.

    Why else would they reduce damage reduction by 25%, and completely gut the Aspect of Disobedience, the best defensive aspect in the game? It's the exact same concept, you die more, so it ultimately takes LONGER to get best in slot gear, and reach late endgame content.

    Speaking of endgame content, there is none. This is why they are making these changes. It's why they tried to sneak in capstone dungeon level caps of 40 and 60 without telling us.

    It's why they ultimately giga nerfed power leveling, boosting, and group leveling as a whole. Honestly, they just nerfed leveling and XP in general, because they understand that there's not enough content at the end of the game for you to enjoy.

    They want to keep you in the game as long as possible, so you have the most amount of exposure to the battle pass, and the more time you're in the game, the more time you will be exposed to the battle pass, and more likely to spend money on cool looking cosmetics for weapons, armor or your horse.

    I'm mad because of Nightmare Dungeons XP reduction (from +25% for +3lvl to 1,5% for +1lvl - max.10% for +10lvl). Ridicules.

    This game after the new patch has been terrible. Nerfed the damage for no reason nerfed armor for no reason nerfed cooldown just so you can stand still and wait for cooldowns. Decreased experience gain decreased helltide cinder gains no endgame, new patch added 6 items and dont get me started on uber unique dont waste your time on this game

    Last patch prove that Blizzard are idiots and they want kill this product. TIme live for every seson is 3 month. Last patch nerf leveling to the ground. Casual playes will not enjoy 100 level game content as 90 % of them will not reach 100 lev and new sezon will start.

Truth be told, I don't even have much of a problem with non-P2W microtransactions, because I have to accept reality that AAA online PvP multiplayer on Playstation will basically only happen if MTX is included. You can thank greedy and lazy "story-driven" developers like Sony Santa Monica for that, because they save so much money by giving us half of the game at full price, and still make bank. So of course, developers that give us the full game are going to monetize the online portion for that extra work. My problem is that I already spent $70 on this mobile game that isn't even close to a true AAA experience, and the greedy developers still have the audacity to add MTX. Seeing how this is an online only mobile game with MTX, it should've been free-to-play. This outrageous greed makes EA and Take-Two look like saints in comparison. At least they have full priced games with actual AAA quality. Battlefront 2 or GTA V alone has better quality than the entire Blizzard catalogue combined. That's embarrassing.… Expand

    Item are pre-fixed with % of getting something good being abysmal low .

    They realized people were having way to much fun and were strongly able to beat mid game level content, so they patch and nerf everybody. Sorcerers needed help and instead they buff every single aspect of the class that nobody plays then NERF EVERYTHING FOR EVERY CLASS.

    Shame, game had a rocky start but was a super fun experience at the start and it felt like the devs were helping support the community by listening to our woes but was quickly ruined by one update that nerfed everything into the ground, making the game a massive chore. Season 1 looming over and all the hype is dead, hopefully I can change this review in the future, until then.

    My wife and I have been playing dungeon crawlers and ARPGs for 20'ish years; we love to sit together on the couch and do the grind together.     We *WERE* having a blast, but understood that with the release of the Season 1 patch some of our more OP elements were going to get nerfed. No biggie, we've been doing gaming for a while, we figured we'd adjust and continue playing as we were both excited for the Season 1.

    After the patch installed we sat down to see what we were facing. We played, or rather I should say attempted to play, for a couple of hours. After that point we were both so frustrated that we decided to not play anymore until Blizzard pulls their head out of their butts and fixes this situation. A second order effect of this is that we have irl friends who play also, and they came to the same conclusion: Blizzard has no idea what their player base wants or enjoys.

    They literally destroyed the game with countless of nerfs via 1.1 patch. Players were expecting developments and user friendly features, instead we had an harder game with unbalanced and nerfed classes/defences. Oh it's not easy to obtain gear anymore. I will never ever play the season unless they step back from their bs update.

    The developers and engineers at Blizzard Games have repeatedly ignored the opinions of gamers, resulting in a new game, Diablo 4, with a drastically reduced level of freedom and an extremely poor gameplay experience! The latest patch update is even more unacceptable to me! I demand a refund from Blizzard Games!

    Devs have no idea about what players want or they deliberately do the opposite. Awful 1.1 patch, everything nerfed and everything takes longer. They have many years of experience with diablo 3 (an actually good game) and do the complete opposite of what was successful in diablo 3

    I had to edit review. This game is made for you to but battle pass everything around it is focused on battle pass for earnings. There was two cinematics in the game. The story was boring and players tell me i haven't reached end game only to tell me there is no end game. I got all toons up to 90 then uninstalled after patch and watched as seasons couldn't even launch right. Overall DoneI had to edit review.     Forced to play in online multiplayer at all times in a game where group-play doesn't really feel all that satisfying and I primarily play alone. Add that to all the bad changes and I think I will be abstaining in hopes that this gets sorted out and after a few years becomes half as good as diablo 2 is now.

    The game had potential upon release, however with Season01 around the corner it is painfully apparent that all their balance and tweaking decisions are purely driven to sell battle passes and attempt to create artificial retention at the expense of any enjoyment and fun.
    They do not have your best interests at heart, they are loyal to their shareholders.

The picture quality is excellent, and the PC optimization is not bad. The CGs are captivating. Savage was also pretty much what I expected. But until these **** plots to feed you **** over and over again. You will find that you are not playing D4. Until 1 day ago they released the patch for the first season. I really doubt that these schemes are deliberately trying to make players leave the game? I doubt that these planning teams have played D4 at all. Just pick a few from their email to "cut down". I sincerely advise players who are still maintaining a wait-and-see attitude. Don't buy a pile of **** like this. If you really like the Diablo series. Please wait at least 2-3 seasons before purchasing him. Oh, right. For some reason, they fixed the "camel won't bark" bug. I guess they are supposed to report to the boss "Look, I am also working hard to fix this small bug"… Expand

    So i could write a lot more as this...but i already wasted 300hrs testing this game and its bad,really bad. Honestly its a scam,Blizzard wants you to buy the battlepass and cosmetics. Sidequests boring,loot is crap,Dungeons,pvp and hardcore mode horrible.

    Time for a little review. Top 156 World lvl 100 player. Played D2, played D3. Right now, game is just not fun, to be honest. Campaign is ok, a bit disappointed in the end, but it was overall ok. Gameplay feel good, a bit grindy until lvl 50, then you hit the first wall, and feel like you aren't doing anything. grinding until lvl 100 on a soulless game, killing groups after groups afterTime for a little review. Patches after patches, blizzard keep listening to you, and doing the opposite of what you asking. Higher tier, you would continue to drop lower tiers drop, pretty much useless on the most part. farming yellow item to take 15 mins every 10 mins of farm to check on them to gain 3 DPS overall, which is now even higher after they added useless stats to check on (such as barrier generation on characters without barrier in the first place) to get even less good items to grind even more. Adding to it straight up not working stats (resistances) bugged skills, bugged legendaries, nerfing over and over characters while buffing enemy, the whole existence of Uber drops, that you may encounter on season 45 if you're lucky and play 12 hr a day to drop one that might not even be useful to you, last patch preseason that just killed 2 characters even further, making them unplayable on endgame, as well as reducing exp to get from a ~150-200 hour grind from lvl 1 -100 to a 500 hour grind reducing enemy on map/dungeon overrall so much that you feel lucky the moment you encounter more that 5 monster. Basically, a more complicated point and click adventure, and walking simulator.… Expand

    I've played this game for a decent amount of hours 200+, had a pretty stacked rogue. Once you reach lvl 80+ the game just because so bad and all the little things that did not bother before start to creep up. Such as: 0 stash space, like legitimately you have to sell somewhat good items you might want to use in different builds otherwise you cant keep all of the aspects or uniques.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
