    This is an ACTION RPG with slow paced action.

    It's a LOOT hunter with boring loot.

    This is an MMO with no social aspects.

    A dungeon crawler that feels more like a game of fetch the stones and put them on the pedestals.

    Just bought this game a few days before the big change. Got played. Haven't bought a game at full price in a long time, took the chance, got effed. It WAS fun but there is a HUGE stark difference in power and defense. (Obviously)

    Game was pretty fun at release. Obvisouly bugs and issues but for the most part it scratched the itch.

    After reading the new patch notes its very clear that the devs do not play their own game. They would rather slow the game down then add new content to justify their $70 game.

    PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING BLIZZARD UNTIL THEY FIRE THE WHOLE FREAKING DEPARTMENT.

    Absolute joke from Blizzard yet again after the latest patch, they show that they don't want you to have fun, they want you to grind endlessly(and boringly). The problem is if the grind isnt fun or rewarding in any way there is no point. Score will stay low until blizzard puts the fun back into the game

    Here is the short version of what they did...     The end of this Season will be telling on whether I change my score. If less than 10% of the active Season 1 participants make it to 100, and something isn't done/admitted to immediately, I'll rate this as a zero forever. The game is good. The devs are poor.    … Expand

    The game had a very limited amount of promise in pre-season (which was basically an open beta with an abundance of bugs), during which there were some interesting concepts but little to no end game and a very “empty grind feeling” similar to that of No Man’s Sky at release. The season 1 changes have only further doubled down on this. Instead of creating an actual end game the developers decided that leveling is now the end game, as they nerfed the experience gains and several other aspects, so leveling will take much longer.     D4 isn't worth your time.
    4 Tabs in your stash..... LOL every 5 Euro game offers more. ( And of course they need around 6-8 month to find and install a solution)

    I could write 1 hour but I am realizing that i could spend my time in a better way.

    1 last thing : There are Uber Uniques like grandfather and they are called *the undroppables*
    Let me explain shortly explain why: Their are several types of items: white, magic, rare, Legendarys, Uniques and Uber Uniques. You receive more or less every 20 Dungeons an Unique. To receive an Uber Unique you have to run 20.000.000 NM-Dungeons ( Of course if you are in NM-Dungeons with mobs which have to have more than lv 85 ).
    That means you will practically never see just 1 of these *undroppables*    … Expand

    I made an account just to post a review. Blizzard's latest update made the game from okay to BAD. All the nerfs revealed how repetitive, tedious and lackluster every content in the game. Maybe in a year or two, this game will be decent. AVOID D4 RIGHT NOW

    With each patch they have mad the game worse. The July 18th patch completely destroyed the game though. They nerfed everything and every build in the game. They nerfed your dmg, dmg reduction, cool down reduction, armor. Then they nerfed the XP you get into the ground. The game is not worth playing anymore. Definitely skipping the season now.

I have no incentive to start over, knowing that there is nothing to work towards--there is no end game. The developers seem not to care at all about what users want.     Didn't mind the farm loop in later levels, but itemization, affixes, and almost everything was fun was nerfed before the season 1 update. After trying my character a few times I simply logged out and uninstalled. They are incredibly out of touch with what people want to do in this game. and wasting more time to do the same content isnt it.

The game at the state of launch was seriously lacking, but the potential of season 1 fixing a lot of the fundamental issues and end-game bulk kept my hopes up. It is obvious to me now that the developers have absolutely no passion for this game, and the release is purely fuelled by monetary decisions.     I play sorcerer in game, and let me tell y’all something. With the recent patch we got, I feel like that new show that Tom Holland came out with called “The Crowded Room”. Blizzard “fixing” a game by making it worse is not such a fun experience for the fan base. The amount of **** we have to grind and the less damage we do makes me go play Path of Exiles.

    Repetitive beyond belief, no group finder for the thousands of dungeons you have to run over and over just to gain xp. Just to have the xp nerfed over and over. Making an already grindy game more grindy and difficult instead of adding more interesting and unique content makes it a very unenjoyable game.

    The recent patch sent me back to playing Support in Smite. Thats all the perspective you need. Boycott this garbage until Blizzard decides to apply meaningful updates rather than nerf their game by half in the hopes of making the cash cow last longer.

    Patch 1.1 has destroyed this game. I've always been a big Diablo fan and loved the Betas for Diablo 4 but it has got progressively worse with each patch up to the point of it has become a chore to play. I was looking forward to Season 1 but now I don't even care to play the game again as I stands right now

    How to nuke your playerbase in one patch... As a player who grinded 3 lvl 100 characters since release they were pretty well rounded now feel terrible. Season 1 will not make up for what we have lost with the malignant hearts. Non seasonal players will have nothing to make their characters feel any better.

    They completely ruined the game with the most recent 1.1 patch, gutted damage, gutted cooldown reduction, gutted damage reduction, so we hit less hard and get hit harder. The leveling is now a lot slower, everything was made literally worse. I do less than HALF the damage i did before this patch and im not going to play season 1 now, unless they come out and apologize and revert this bs patch

Now, in diablo 4, if you find super awesome mega gear you better hope it matches your build unless you want to spend MILLIONS of gold respeccing. It's sad. Basically the goal is the game is to now grind for gear that matches your build instead of being able to explore builds freely.

    Currently there are a ton of gems that you get and you only have 33 slots on your character...that means you'll be going back to are going back to town CONSTANTLY!! It's so annoying, Anywho, everyone's been asking for this to change and for the devs to rework this system to make the game more fun, but instead of listening to the player base and fixing these issues they instead decided to nerf everyone's players across the board, make the game more grindy, absolutely destroyed the 'sorcerer' class, reduced defensive skills across the board making us die more. I have no problem grinding through ranks, also no problem with elusive gear and the effort it takes to obtain it. I do have a problem with the developers constantly nerfing the ability to rank at a reasonable pace, that has become borderline unplayable at this point. They are constantly making it take longer and longer to rank and creating a very linear path for a dungeon game, I feel for all of you who has had their builds completely stomped on by the jerks at blizzard, I have deleted the game. Pretty convenient how they would nerf the eternal realm, and order for their paid BS season 1 to look better. This is garbage and gamers should not support such companies, cash grab trash. This is punishing not enjoyable difficulty. To add insult to injury loot is a joke 99.99% of loot you get is trash and ends up selling to the vendor so there is no real gear progression. I will still play season 1 only because the battle pass with the game purchase, After that I will dedicate all my game time and money on POE which I consider to be a more complex and difficult game than D4 However it is enjoyable, rewarding, and not punishing. If you are thinking of buying this game I will tell you the story is a good story however after that the game is not worth it, I would save your money and wait tell the game is highly discounted to purchase and play the game.… Expand

The newest patch punishes group play, and severely nerfs experience. It is clear blizzard does not want players to reach level 100, because there is no content for higher levels.

At this point ill just stop playing the game, switch to Destiny 2 with its horrible datadisk and wait for Starfield and Baldurs Gate 3. Also im never purchasing anything again from Blizzard… Expand

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
