    Not listening to the community request and pushing out lazy nerf bloated updates. Devs definitely don’t want the players to have fun.

    I had a lot of fun playing this game for quite a while. But after many hours of play to get a character of a reasonable amount of power Blizzard decides to nerf the crap out of my build. I honestly don't understand why Blizzard feels that it is their job to make sure no one is having too much fun. I paid $70 for the game, invested many hours into it and then this. And just to add icing toI had a lot of fun playing this game for quite a while. But after many hours of play to get a character of a reasonable amount of power Blizzard decides to nerf the crap out of my build. I honestly don't understand why Blizzard feels that it is their job to make sure no one is having too much fun. I paid $70 for the game, invested many hours into it and then this. And just to add icing to the cake they ruined the best part of the end game - Helltides, which are no longer worth the time to do.… Expand

    The graphic is good. The story is fine. The end game sucks, How devs treat the game balance sucks. Blizzard do not listen to players and just do what they want to do to upset players. They just do everything to remove your joy from the game. It sucks.

    Activision got their money and don't care now if the game is fun, save your time and money. Just don't play it. The story was good but the gameplay is bad so it's a slog to get through.

    The recent patch has made the game even worse. Not that it was anything special to begin with, mostly a Diablo 3.5 DLC while missing all the good things from Diablo 3. No matchmaking in 2023, bugs, terrible horse and itemization, no greater rifts which were pretty fun because of the density and playing with randoms.

    I have no idea what this game is trying to be. Never in my life have I seen a worse patch. Not only that, but releasing a patch like this before the most important (first) season of your new video game is incredibly stupid. None of the issues that people have talked about were fixed or changed. Nothing about stash tabs, the bad itemization, overly expensive build respec costs (and how long it takes to respec), item reroll cost, buffing weak builds like whirwlnd in higher tiers or the terrible necro summoner. Just a patch about nerfing the entire game before the season, when it was already boring to begin with.

    For now I'll not participate in this game but will keep an eye on the news to see if they change it for the better. Blizzard does not respect your time. It's best if I don't log in because that's the only metric they understand.    … Expand

    Disappointed in the new patch. It feels like the dev forgotten the core fundamentals of the Diablo series. Guess I will be playing something else.

    They took your money at launch and gave up. Season 1 is looking to be the worst seasonal launch to an ARPG in history. Uninstall and play something better. Don't waste your money on this

    Survivability against other games is a shame.
    Hardcore is barely playable.
    If at all you need perfect gear with 4 from 5 good rools out of like...50, which is just an annoying grind... and most likely doesn't happen.
    And alongside... they even nerfed damage reduction in the latest patch. Great move. #not

    I have never seen a developer so militant on killing off anything that is performing well in their game.

    And to make everything be harder and longer instead of more interesting and engaging. And their philosophy on balance isn't by improving how enticing other aspects, skills, or items are, but instead to bury those to be as mediocre as the rest.     Very out of touch of reality.

    Don't waste your time - you'll spend 100 hours trying to find the best things (while managing it horribly in their inventory management) only to have it rendered useless and now you have to spend more time finding mediocre loot and spend a lot of time and money unclicking all of the dots to try and find relevancy..    … Expand

    Legendary drops are spammed and crap. Rares drope like gold coins and you have to keep checking stats that are usually garbage. Respec and explore new options consume lots of gold and therefore take excessive time to try. Inventory management is garbage. Forget about trying to play more than one class as you're likely never going to reach max level, or even approach decent gear.

    Devs killed the game for Season 1, nerfs everything fun about the game and makes me not want to play anymore. Could’ve been a great game but the developers obviously don’t even play their own game.

    A game that cost over 70 Dollar, yet it fails to provide any improvement or more gameplay and only cut down the fun from player.
    The lag/rubber banding from server was never fixed. But in newest patch, they fixed nothing about the game. Only making the gaming experience even worst.
    It's clearly the dev/blizzard were incapable to listen to players or they have run out of things they can offer.

    There are many other issues and QOL changes that needs to be made before it could even live up to its predecessors expectations but instead, Diablo 4’s latest patch bricked the whole ACTION part of an ARPG. The PS5 trading system with other players, I still have to use a scroll wheel to input gold in multiples of 1?! Are you out of your damn mind.     Never had this much excitement for a game turn around so fast. Devs are oblivious to the glaring issues and don’t listen to fanbase. Blizzard has successfully killed my favorite childhood game.

    Every thing that was great about D 1/2/3 has disappeared, and in its place it utter **** Loot? Dream on,. This long ass grind to 100 just so you can play seasons? Pathetic.     The game was decent. All it needed is the proper endgame, more diverse loot and additional systems like runes. And content, more items, affixes, bosses. And QoL updates.

    Instead the devs choose to end the game, nerfing the already weak classes, nerfing and slowing down every aspect of the game. Is this a joke?

    Blizzard has ruined this game before it even really got started. It's obvious they a preping for the game to be pay to advance and or pay to win. There is no other reason to nerf everything they way they did 2 days prior to season 1 launch.

    They gutted alot of the builds that were alreaddy lacking in the latest patch. Made mobs harder. Experience for levels are slower to get. Rewards for doing things are lower. Pretty ratchet.

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
