    The Season 1 patch makes leveling up, and finding loot, 2 to 3 times more difficult. I'm not sure why this was done, if it's to draw out the amount of time people spend in the game, I feel like it will backfire and more players will get fed up with the tedium and quit instead. Personally, I'll try this game again in a year or so to see if the devs have fixed it.

    The game feels slow and generally unsatisfying to play. It's hard to keep up with all these major major changes the devs keep making basically every couple weeks. I'm exhausted. The game is making me exhausted.

    Poor game experience due to the latest update. The management team & Designer of Diablo 4 should review the details of the latest updates.

    Game company not consider players feeling. Only want to extend the game life cycle by adding more difficulties to players such as experience reduction.

    Massive nerf to entire game with latest patch. Leveling was already slow and they have decreased xp gains. They don’t have any idea how to balance the game.

Further, the couple of patches that came out were all just bug fixes & # adj that should've been fixed during beta. They also ruined gameplay with untimely nerfs showing how incompetent the D4 team is.     The latest patch absolutely ruined this game just in time to force the season pass. Blizzard needs to do better.

    The last parch is horrible. Instead of add new content they nerfed all the damage, all the defense, all the xp you gain for making the game more long. The same game experience but more long and frustrating. The new mechanic they added to the season ( the malignant hearts) is completely useless. Only very few of them are worth the farming.     The only thing this game cares is how long will you play it not how fun will you get from it. I purchased this game to have fun and to ease some stress from a day's work, but no. This game adds stress now thanks to the latest patch. Have fun playing your whole lifetime grinding on this boring game. They nerfed the damn PVE characters to cinders. Why?     Felt like Blizzard designed a game listening to MBA engagement metrics.
    Trying to add engagement by nerfing every viable class in the metagame is not adding more content.

    I miss the days when blizzard cared about making good videogames

    Indignado como um jogo de 350 reais pode ser tão podre e pobre de conteúdo tendo que recorer a tal ato, se o foco fosse pvp ainda seria plausível, mas se tratando de um jogo mais focado no pve é extremamente triste, o "acrecismo" de conteúdo se resume em acrescimo de tempo gasto no grind de um personagem com 90 dias de vida útil.

    TBH I put too much faith in "you think you do, but you don't" "Don't you guys own phones" modern Blizz. They have continued to sacrifice player fun for profit without realizing the truth that all of the good will for the company was from when they made games that were fun to play. I fell in to this nostalgia trap. Loved D1 bought it the week it came out. Loved D2 drove 200 miles to get a copy on launch day. More or less enjoyed D3, launch was terrible but it at least felt like they were addressing players issues with the game, love the current seasons.

    Basically the way they decided to "fix" their lack of fun endgame content was simply to make it harder to get there in the first place.
    I have seen a lot of people trying to justify the massive nerf to all classes by pointing out that the S1 mechanic will make up for that. . . I would be inclined to agree if this didn't effect the Eternal realm. Seasonal content should be optional not mandatory.    … Expand

    As someone who loves to grind on a game, this is too much, leveling is slow and gets old fast with very little content that's worth your time for XP and after 200 plus hours you might have a maxed out chacter and decent build only to be met but blizzard nerfing not just your build and hard work into the ground but all builds. I gave it a 2 cause the story was not bad but everything after that is a waste. On top of all this the devs seem to have a death wish for the game, they seem to do the complete opposite of what the community asks for and insist that you enjoy the game the way they want you to. To sum it up, long monotonous play with no reward, progress is met with nerfs, devs total disregard for what the community has askd for. If you haven't bought the game yet don't possibly it will get better but there have been no signs of that so far, if the game drops to 20$ or less buy it for the story mode and then delete it.… Expand

    ActivisionBlizzard just made everything harder and worse with their pre-season 1 patch. This has been one of the best Diablo’s I had ever played, and then they did this.

    I’m now telling my friends who have not yet bought the game, who I had been telling to buy it, to not bother. Better games on the horizon. Actiblizz are the worst gaming company ever.

    This practice of coming up with a half developed game, selling it as a complete one and then paying Youtubers to market it aggressively to cheat the causal base who bought this out of past nostalgia needs to stop.

    I may be just an insignificant idiot who forked out $100 to buy your marketing and half developed game, (and spend 100-200 hours playing it in the hope that the end game gets better/your promises via community engagement sounds sincere and reasonable), but here is me leaving my honest review.

    For others who haven't bought the game, please don't. This is not a 'review bomb' as per what their marketing/PR team is selling, but it is a review of just an average joe who has stuck by the Blizzard name and loved the Starcraft, WOW and Diablo franchise, who heard good things about the new addition to the Diablo franchise and decided to 'vote with his wallet' to support the devs. Instead, I wasted money and time, and whatever ounce of goodwill/nostalgia I have with the Blizzard brand name.    … Expand

    ActiBlizz continues to spit in the faces of consumers. They use a nostalgic name to gut those of their time and money. There are plenty of ways you can defend this game, but the negatives far out weigh the positives. Constant added time sinks so they can bolster play time hours just to pad their own pockets. The gaming community will continue to be taken advantage of at this rate.

    No match making really sucks! Gems don't go as high, no specials gems. Miss set items, instead they have "uber unique" in which 1 in particular still hasn't dropped 1 time world wide, really?

    While the future of the game is anyone’s guess, at present Diablo IV is a solid, but strangely unambitious take that fails to bring much new to the table. By the end of my travels, I was more than willing to put it down and take a break — somewhere amongst all the grinding, Diablo IV had unfortunately ground me down as well.
