    Borderlands 3 brings more of the charm, humor, and of course: The mayhem.

    The gunplay is much improved from past entries and it feels better than ever to get a wacky new weapon that turns your enemies into viscous lumps of varying sizes. The graphics are also crisp with many new, well-designed areas to marvel. Unfortunately, not much else has improved. The menus, the missions, the    Borderlands 3 brings more of the charm, humor, and of course: The mayhem.

    The gunplay is much improved from past entries and it feels better than ever to get a wacky new weapon that turns your enemies into viscous lumps of varying sizes. The graphics are also crisp with many new, well-designed areas to marvel.

    Unfortunately, not much else has improved. The menus, the missions, the music. More of the same. To be clear: I don't think these things are bad. They're all distinctly "Borderlands". What I do think is that there should have been more improvements to how the game plays when you aren't blasting your enemies and making them curse their parents' copulation.

    Game seems decent enough, however, I've basically paid 2k over £80 for the privilege of being their beta tester. I meet the recommended required specs for the game, but it stutters to an insane degree, and the 30+fps drops in combat make it unplayable.

The game's optimisation is basically at an alpha stage, and i'm disgusted that people are defending this behaviour. I've sent 2k a ticket on the matter, like a good little beta tester, but they still haven't made an official announcement about fixing their game.

    I love the Borderlands series, but the state of this game has cheapened everything about it. I feel as though I've signed a contract with Hyperion by buying this broken trash. After spending over 4 hours trying the various fixes people have come up with (with no success), I can't even get a refund.

    I hope the game will be fixed when I come back to it in 2 months, and I will probably even enjoy it. But I refuse to change my review score, based on the fact that triple A game companies should NOT be releasing games in this kind of state.    … Expand

    People who complain about the DRM and the Epic exclusivity clearly haven't even bothered to actually attempt to play the game and see it for what it's worth. I've only played for 5 hours and I've enjoyed the game more the 2, but not as much as TPS.     It's everything you liked about Borderlands 2 but with more content and many quality of life changes. If you liked Borderlands 2 you'll love the third game if you didn't like the game play or comedy of borderlands 2 you won't like the game it's that simple

    Касательно технической части: игра ужасна. Эти длинные, коридорные пустые локации. Этот перегруженный интерфейс. Эти лаги/баги/фризы/зависания... Я потратил на игру 3 добрых дня, чтобы пройти сюжетные квесты и я уже жалею о потраченном времени и деньгах. Лучше бы подождал пиратку, да терпения не хватило.
    Дальше со спойлерами.
    Сюжет: банален и разочаровывает. Персонажи не проявляют и половину тех эмоций, которые они испытывали потеряв Роланда в БЛ2. Злодеи - зазнавшиеся, избалованные дети в телах взрослых. Они раздражают. Но, к сожалению, на фоне Стилл из БЛ1 и Зарпедон из ТПС - они чуточку да лучше. И все же, им очень далеко до Красавчика Джека из БЛ2 и ТФТБ.
    Больше всего во всей игре меня раздражает количество роялей в кустах, которые выскакивают просто из неоткуда. Меня разочаровывает, во что превратили уже знакомых персонажей. То, что сделали с Майей, Воном и Аурелией - вообще финиш. Мне жаль этих дамочек и мальчика-бухгалтера. Мне не нравится, что функция, которая была у нас по дефолту в БЛ2 - открывается лишь с прохождением полного сюжета в БЛ3. Это дико раздражает и совершенно не вызывает желания повторно окунаться в игру на данный момент. Может быть, если Гирбоксы поправят технические моменты хотя бы с багами/фризами/зависаниями - я еще подумаю об этом, но точно не в ближайшее время.
    Оффтоп: EGS-фаны, уймитесь пожалуйста. Ваш обожествляемый лаунчер не стоит того. Я перешагнул через себя, купил игру в EGS и я жалею об этом. Она не стоит своих денег вообще. Совет тем, кто не купил: ждите торренты или огромных, наищедрейших скидок на игру. В пределах 200+ рублей. Если не купите/не поиграете - много не потеряете.    … Expand

    Borderlands 3 being epic exclusive was the worst decision they ever made, everything about this PC version sucks including optimization, texture loading issues, freezing, crashing, random stupid glitches that can be pretty game breaking and more, from what i can tell the console versions seem to be fine. if you want any advice from me, if you're truly desperate for this game, GET IT ONBorderlands 3 being epic exclusive was the worst decision they ever made, everything about this PC version sucks including optimization, texture loading issues, freezing, crashing, random stupid glitches that can be pretty game breaking and more, from what i can tell the console versions seem to be fine. if you want any advice from me, if you're truly desperate for this game, GET IT ON CONSOLE AND DO NOT EVER GO TO EPIC FOR IT, or alternatively wait for steam since they have forums and the community can help out there at least.

    Better and faster version of borderlands 2 as gameplay.As story it is not that good like borderlands 2.But still the best loot shooter game so far.

    Just cause I'm a fun of this game I rate 9/10. 1 point less for the "mousecontrol" on cars. And gearbox pls reveal optimization patch as fast as you can. Frametime stability is horrible in different scenarios, not only aiming in sniper scope.
    P.S. Ryzen 3700x, 16 gb ram,5700xt, game installed on ssd. My PC one step further from recomended spec.

    I can't believe that they ruined the borderlands franchise like this :( Terrible writing, terrible graphics, terrible gameplay... it doesn't feel like they tried at all, it fells like a halfassed version of BL2 instead of a proper sequel :(

    I'm not done with this game and the only complaint I have so far are the cutscenes (1440p) are cropped weirdly, but other than that, the game runs fine. Very smooth on my end, love the humor (not as good as 2 so far), love the boss fights thus far. I know a lot of people are still so upset over the Epic store...but really, it's still on PC.     First thing to address is that this is a Borderlands game, so don't expect too many new things. The style, atmosphere and humour is what makes the series. The gameplay is very tight and enhanced by the new movement options, mantle and slide. These can give you a few more tactical angles and nothing feels better than sliding up to an enemy and finishing them with a switch shot the groin.

    It's a lot of fun and the characters are as big as ever. The addition of the new locations makes it feel a lot bigger and more varied than previous versions, as does the amount of guns!

    There are a few bugs, but none of them I have come across are game breaking.

    Just don't run it with DX12.

    If you love Borderlands, you'll love this. It's immature, loud and brash but loads of fun.    … Expand

    This game is much worse than BL2 or pre-sequel. The villains are unconvincing, the plot is disappointing, the humor (ass-related jokes) does not appeal to mature audience, and you cannot skip the boring cut-scenes.

    I like this game very much. I get a lot of pleasure from her. My pc produces stable 60 fpd, enough for me. The game has certain disadvantages, but they are not significant and are fixable.

    Game runs as expected from day one.
    It lives up to the content you should expect when played the previous releases.

    Apart from everything that the game delivers it only drops frame rate now and then, but 90% of time it runs smoothly.

There are a lot of epic haters here that just give 0 Points even though they did not even play the game.

    Borderlands 3 has actually some performance issues. I played it on Xbox and still get frame drops or lagging when I open the menu. Very frustrating, and I hope they do something. And yes many friends tell me that PC has some performance issues as well. But not all of them ! This would strike against 10 Points. And yes this would affect Splitscreen as well. Nonetheless is it a degrace to give 0 points because of framedrops that occur sometimes.

    This game is playable !

    Another point how can you come to say that this game is just a Borderlands 2.5 ? Or just a DLC.
    This game is a FULL new game. In every aspect this game has evolved and playes much smoother, modern, and more comfortable. Exactly what the other Borderland did not achieve or needed. Borderlands 3 is exactly what we wanted and I think everybody who plays this game till the end, feels and sees that.

    There is no ingame Shop, Ingame Currency or Microtransactions in the form of any other game that is release nowadays. They completely focussed on the actual content. Thanks Gearbox for staying that way.

    This game provides a really long main story. Longer than the one from Borderlands 2. The level design is just gorgeous. The areas are much bigger than any of Borderlands 2. Well the graphic has improved slightly. Light and environment feel more alive, than the previous titles. And also there is much bigger variety of environments. Every single Map you enter is huge.

    HUD as improved in almost every single way. There could be still some improvements on the inventory and Map controlls. But overall, we a much better and deeper skill tree. The badass rank as so much more sense now and actually rewards more than just some increased stats. The Map is 3D and they added a fog of war to it. Also you can fast travel to your car or any other fast travel station, which is exactly what Borderlands 2 needed. You can toggle between Missions without going into the quest log menu ! Maps provide more than just missions. There are side bosses, cars you steal, dead claptraps and more ! Discovering the whole map has more meaning to, as in the prevous titles. It is a whole new System.

    Well dont need to talk about combat and weapon variety. It is just so much better and exciting. There are boss fight in this game that actually let you forget every boss fight you had in any other Borderlands Game. It is mind blowing.

    Cars can be hijacked, and you can actually design your cars with new guns, tires, armor .... and so on. Characters can have emotes, skins, weapon skins, echo skins, and more ! And all this is unlocked by playing... not PAYING ! Exactly what we needed in todays world.

    Sanctuary provides so much more, it is incredible. More slot machines at moxxis, own personal room, hammerlock room, Zer0 room. Every room has a meaning and is worth a visit once a while. I mean it feels like so much more.

    Endgame Content, raid Bosses, Chaos/Mayhem Mode, Arena... who knows whats more to come. Compared to Borderlands 2, this is a blast of NEW CONTENT and improvement.

    The humor is still there, easter eggs are more than ever. So many great references and funny moments.

    There is much more, so much. I encourage everyone to play this game and have a look themselves. How dare anyone call this a DLC for borderlands 2 or a Borderlands 2.5. In my opinion those people have never played one of the previous titles or expected Borderlands 3 to be Destiny 3 or so.

    This game is exactly what true fans of the franchise wanted and expected. And they never mislead us in any of their videos, trailers, reveals. We all got hyped. Playing this will keep you hyped. So have fun !    … Expand

    Launching in current state, not acceptable for with any stretch of imagination. Add on top of this Epic-Crap-store exclusivity, and alienating supporting community with unwarranted aggressive stance towards fans and the picture painted is a severe reduced hype for this game.

    Having some fun time playing BL3 with friends. Really love the lore, variety of different guns, the jokes that are usually funny. The playabe characters finally have bright personalities.

    I was extremely surprised to see just how negative the reception to this game was. I have put in roughly 10 to 15 hours so far since launch and I've loved every second of it. It's more Borderlands but with much smoother shooting and movement. Its not doing a lot different but thats not a negative to me. I'm having a blast playing through the campaign. Performance wise I haven't really hadI was extremely surprised to see just how negative the reception to this game was. I have put in roughly 10 to 15 hours so far since launch and I've loved every second of it. It's more Borderlands but with much smoother shooting and movement. Its not doing a lot different but thats not a negative to me. I'm having a blast playing through the campaign. Performance wise I haven't really had an issue. Im running an rtx 2080, 9700k and 16gb of ram @ 3440x1440p at a mixture of high and medium settings and im getting an average of 100 fps. In certain areas it drops to the low 90s and in other areas im maxing out my monitors refresh rate at 144 fps. A quick look through the user reviews for this game and it seems like im the only one who isnt having performance issues. Day one the game ran worse that it does now, Im pretty sure gearbox updated the game on the 14th and that seemed to boost my performance quite a bit, so im assuming the negative performance reviews came before this patch. If you are expecting a completely new and unique experience you will be disappointed, if like me you just wanted more borderlands then you wont be disappointed.… Expand

    The little time I did play it for was just excruciatingly painful, the game is just pushing weird SJW virtue signaling crap on to the player, cringy as hell, had to get a refund, no way I was going to sit through 40+ hours of that. my brain can only take so much.

    The main issue is the hit reg while playing with friends.
    There is no dedicated servers.
    Wait until it launches on Steam.
    I bought it from Epic on launch because I have impatient friends.

    Just the BL2 sequel I was expecting. The game easily beats every single aspect of BL2.

    The best thing is the mayhem it generates in every combat. IA is better, no more "shooting gallery" sensation. Graphics are much better... animations in every situation. OST is awesome!!!

    And bigger explosions!!!

    Only one thing... I miss Krieg a lot :'(

To me it is very very important how much money goes to the publisher. the 12/88 split is really really really important to me.     Borderlands 3 is a very good game! Yes, not without problems, but all of them will be fixed one way or another.
    I believe that all criticism of this game is unfounded. In general - this is the same good old-awaited game! Readers, do not pay attention to low ratings, 95% of them, only that the game was released in the EGS, and not in the Steam.

    What, 5-6 years, and this is what they come up with, 100% repetitive game play with no substance, bad graphics and tons of bad teenage jokes, this game sucks big time, i'm glad i didn't pay for this crap!
    Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel are good games compared to this ****

Когда игра выходит не на стим, ты ожидаешь, что разработчик и издатель хотят больше процент за годную и качественную игру, а не за второсортный шлак собранный на коленке.     This game is awesome. If you like Borderlands you will enjoy Borderlands 3 for sure. People are even speaking about graphics as a bad point. WTF looks 32035350% times better than the other borderlands games.

    The only problem (and very big one) is the performance. They for sure will update it so enjoy the game even on Epic Games Store.

    I really like borderland game but on PC the game run very badly, it s poorly optimize for sure.
    I hope a patch to fix it and maybe change my review.
    I have RTX 2060, 16GB of ram, I7-8750 H but i get freeze in lower setting...that is why i give bad review.
    The gameplay is fine but unplayable for moment.

    Minor issues, great game! It's another awesome Borderlands game - don't listen to the haters and their followers! Yes, the game needs some patching, and yes, the Epic Store lacks some features, but that doesn't mean there's no fun to be had. If you loved Borderlands 2, get Borderlands 3 right now!

    The game is currently broken. :( It is running very poorly. I understand there will be problems on launch, but it feels like no one tested it and if they did, they figure they would fix it after launch. So, I have to wait until they fix it to play my game. *sigh*

The game feels heavily repetitive and the maps of different planets are boring, bosses are too easy, and overall this doesn't feel like a standard borderlands game with loot grinding and a good story. It just feels like the devs rushed this game to sellout into the market to be part of the borderlands franchise.

    However there are some pros:
    + beautiful graphics
    + borderlands style "cheesy" comedy
    + side quests are relatively good

    Or another example. You're not a ghost camera! You're a camera attached to person! There's not so many games where you can look down and see your own legs, torso and arms. But Borderlands is one of them.

    I know, so far it sounds stupid. But that just shows, the developers haven't missed a single detail.

    About gameplay, it became even more fun than before. Ragdolls are now just as crazy as in good'ol Team Fortress 2. Now you can shoot female bandits! And yes, it sounds rly pecking creepy and over all bad, but at least this way it feels like bandit planet actually, where, well, everyone and their mother (Literally) is either a bandit or worse. Some new moves was added, shooting itself was improved. The guns are rly neeto. Matching both of those factors with B2, B2 feels and looks like you're using a Nerf gun of some kind.

    Graphics were slightly improved. And I have no idea what are you guys sayin' about optimization. Tested on my pc with i7 and 980ti, as well as on my laptop with 1050ti. Both runs pretty solid. And again, you have body! That's just the coolest thing!

    Yes, it did crashed once, when I entered new location. And yes, I still have some issues with inventory (Frame drops and disappearing cursor). But it was only once, and I expected that. Come on, the game was, like, couple of hours old, some thingies like that are normal.

    I would give this an 8.5 if the dx12 was fixed. The game runs great in dx 12 on my radeon VII but it takes forever to get into the game at the start and then i have to change the resolution to 1440p before i can switch back to 4k at 75% resolution. I think there should be options to change the resol

Honestly I love this game with over 25 hours in, and I have to say I will be putting many more hours, But no launch can be perfect. I haven't been experiencing glitches like others but I have been experiencing bad optimization with a gtx 1080 getting around 110 fps to around 70 to 65 fps on high settings.     As a Borderlands fan from the beginning, I am extremely disappointed in this latest title. From the technical aspects to the overall gameplay, it feels unrefined. Gearbox had more than enough time to test and refine their product. This is unacceptable! I want to enjoy this game! The more I play, the more I discover is broken.

True to the franchise, it delivers a ton of entertainment! Enjoyable characters, both old and new, cool music, hardcore gameplay, awesome worlds/planets etc. Just like Gears 5, it delivers!     To start, it takes about 20    Man, what a disappointment. I picked up the first Borderlands shortly after launch and had been anticipating this launch - and after 10-12 hours with the game, divided among two character classes, all I want is my money back. This isn't the Borderlands I've been playing for the past decade. I don't know what this is. But it's definitely not worth your money.

    To start, it takes about 20 minutes to earn your first skill point, and longer until you unlock your first passive ability, so it'll be a while before you can tell if you enjoy playing your character class. If you don't, enjoy sitting through the lengthy unskippable intro cutscenes (one of which is just compressed trailer footage).

    Once you get caught up, don't waste any time exploring the initial area. Exploring on your own is a waste of time, since quest objects / items can't be activated or collected unless you have the active quest. At least on Pandora, don't bother exploring an area unless you have an active quest in that region.

    As you're travelling through the area, characters you haven't met will randomly start talking to you via your ECHO with no introduction or context. They immediately deliver fetch/kill quests before you meet them, have any reason to help or trust them, or agree to a reward, etc.

    Meanwhile, your main quest giver, 10 minutes after meeting you, entrusts you with the most powerful artifact in the universe because she's busy doing housework. You're expected to care about the villains because they apparently have done some evil **** off-screen before you show up, but they're so irritating, bland and uninspired that I couldn't possibly care less about them. Compare them to Handsome Jack in B2 - like him or not, you immediately knew who he was, what his motivations were, and why you were in conflict with him. Here, you're just kind of thrust into a situation with little explanation - and not in a compelling, in-medias-res way, more of a "we forgot to hire a writer" way.

    The lack of strong writing leads to a lot of stilted and awkward dialogue / delivery between characters. NPCs will stand stock still while playing low-budget procedural face animations during emotional cutscenes. One character got locked into a push-ups animation while he was supposed to be sobbing over the loss of his comrade. A certain character that you save from the enemy thanks you, then immediately turns around and runs right back into the bandit camp where they were just being tortured because the nearest transporter is located there.

    If you're expecting any sort of player choice or expression beyond which guns to shoot and which abilities to spec into, you'll be disappointed. There's little-to-no option for creative completion of quests. If you try to go off the beaten path at all, or come up with a clever solution to a problem, you'll get shut down and railroaded back to the script the game wants you to follow. Not great for an open world game.

    I could go on about the outdated graphics and ****ty textures, overall bad voice acting and delivery, uninspired settings, recycled mechanics, enemies, locations, etc, copy-pasted art assets, reduced enemy variety and intrigue (at least in the first ~10 hours), asinine and illogical quests (not in the fun, quirky Borderlands sort of way - just downright stupid), missing audio content, ubiquitous bugs, lengthy and irritating mandatory checklist-style quests, the fact that the game forces you to play a slot machine to advance the plot - and a whole lot else. But I'll save you the time:

    The guns are fun to shoot. Some of the character abilities are kind of fun. There's some great, satisfying sound design in combat, and combat feels good overall. So, props to the weapons/combat design team, you folks nailed it.

    If that's good enough for you, get some friends together, get smashed, and you'll find some fun in Borderlands 3. If you want an intriguing world, decent dialogue, somewhat compelling characters, a clearly defined and intriguing villain, subversive mechanics, occasionally on-point satire / meta commentary in a crazy, Mad Max-inspired world with Diablo-esque combat mechanics that feel fun and rewarding... then just go play Borderlands 2 ya dingus    … Expand

    I've been playing Borderlands since the first one came out. I've played and loved all the Borderlands games including Tales from the Borderlands and considered myself a fan like so many but I have to say over the last few months 2K has worn me down to despising them to EA levels.

The Character skins etc really allow for lots or variation and personality.

    Is it perfect ? No But is a damned good game, new grenade play gun play and the guns feel different, and varied. I have no doubt that the announced events will include patches to fix some of the issues, and they NEED to do that. The glitches and optimization need to come soon, but let be real - we're only a few days in.

    There is a downplay in the humor of the game, its not a fun and silly as BL2, but it is still good. BL2 Is one of my favorite games, even more so in this world of COD regurgitated game play.

    The look of the game is really what I wanted - a new updated look to the game that is VERY much Borderalnds, the look and the feel is good. The frame stutter needs to be addresses, SOON!

    Pros:
    If you are a fan of the BL games you will like it - some people are complaining about the "more of the same" but they seem to forget this is Borderlands....
    The new movement mechanics are fun, and the quality of life, like navigation etc are on point.
    It's Borderlands 3 and the story is good and the characters are varied and allow options for different play styles.
    It is very much what I wanted, and this game is totally worth it.
    The level/map design and variation is spectacular - every planet has its own looks, feel and personality. The variety is great - from fighting in tight house corridors to open courtyards and everything in between.
    Cons
    The twins really don't have the immersion of past BL villains (but that has a lot to do with Jack being SUCH a good villain)
    The bugs need to be addressed as well as the optimization.
    The constant network traffic needs to be optimized.
    Lack of tutorial with the really substantial changes to navigation can make it really hard to move around from map to map unless you spend some time to getting to knowing the many changes in navigation.

    Overall
    There is nothing here that is brutal enough to merit the 0-1-2 scores this game is currently getting.
    It's BORDERLANDS - if you don't like the humor in the past you won't like this.
    Its a good game that has a really good look, and continues the BL universe.
    The Twins are just kind of annoying, but the rest of the story line is really solid, the inclusion of past vault hunters, the Zer0 and Athena story lines really bring you into the story, and as much as the story seems to center around Lillith the story is good, very good.
    To avoid any spoilers the "apprentice" is annoying, and her story line is predictable.
    There needs to be optimization and I am confident that they will address the issues.

    If you gave it a low rating because of the gamestore, or if you are review bombing the game - get a life. If you honestly don't like it - then so be it - but many of these ultra low ratings is just sad. Brand new games will have bugs.

    For me, this game equals the hype! Gearbox did an awesome job! I love the fighting mechanics, the characters and the story line. My PC is 6 years old and runs the game smoothly! I'd love to see it run on ULTRA when I update my graphics card! but for now, I'm having a Lot of fun with my old junker of a PC. I'm getting around 50 FPS, zero lag when playing with my friends online. The onlyFor me, this game equals the hype! Gearbox did an awesome job!     Admittedly there have been some bugs in the game with occasional drops in framerates, perhaps some of the QoL upgrades I don't really care for. That aside, the game is absolutely stunning, looks and plays amazing. Combat is intense and fun to play. Guns are fun to shoot and look awesome. Story is good. Graphics are incredible. Missions are fun. Same old borderlands humor.     some returning characters barley appeared in the game itself that you wanted more from which just pisses me off, the campaign itself has the same amount of missions as the bl2 campaign, its about the same size but longer because there is a lot of travel or waiting for npcs to do something
    its clear there was a major rewrite after the end of tales and pre sequal. the villains and the story dont fit at all with the way bl2 ended and the new bl2 dlc was so that they can have a 7 years too late change of heart
    if u play borderlands for the story dont buy this game
    the over 1 billion guns is also a lie, there are like 20 parts for each gun that can rotate so its 1 billion gun combinations. on the start of the game i looted a sniper from a chest and in that same minute i got the same gun as a mission reward. more dups throughout the game
    tbh the best part about this game is the ice t cameo
    and they spoiled most of him in the demos they sent out
    still havent played the endgame, did proving grounds once and it was meh
    oh yeah jokes, again thats why ice t was the best part about the game, he had the best jokes. all those jokes traveled between boomer to ok, rarely will make you laugh. the only good parts were spoiled in demos. i honestly find it hard to believe this took them 5 years to make because the big change in direction couldnt have happened right after tales ended
    the wrost joke is after u kill someone of something big things go south fast and it says to be continued in bl4 and i didnt believe it but it drew on for half a minute or even a minute and with the greed of 2k and randy dickfork i started believing it near the end and was about to punch the first computer related thing i could find
    it honestly doesnt feel like a borderlands game as much as 1 2 pre and tales and tales wasnt a borderlands game
    story is week because u dont care about anything, they hold hostage everything u hoped for through the entire story and almost all of it wont be shown

    Despite problems with FPS, the game is the heir to Borderland two. The creators paid much attention to the weapon, it became more pleasant to shoot from the weapon. The game looks juicier, more lively, but the old spirit of the previous parts also remained. I hope the developers fix all the bugs in the future. PS: there are no microtransactions in the game.

    There's tons of content, great skills, a pretty good story. Really this game is the full package and TOTALLY worth the buy...except it barley holds it together. Horrible performance issues and bugs galore. This game is subject to crashes and some people have straight up lost progress as well. It DESPERATELY needed more time before it released.

All your favorite characters return and the writing and humor is on par for what one could expect from the series. In game music is purely amazing with heavy hitting synth wave style tracks and electronic music alongside epic tracks to go with huge firefights and battles. The new Vault Hunters areBorderlands 3 is phenomenal and all I could’ve wanted out of a new entry in the series. All your favorite characters return and the writing and humor is on par for what one could expect from the series. In game music is purely amazing with heavy hitting synth wave style tracks and electronic music alongside epic tracks to go with huge firefights and battles. The new Vault Hunters are fantastic, I’ve grown very attached to Zane and love how he converses with different characters. The amount of guns on show is fantastic and varied, no doubt even at 1000 hours of play will any one player see every gun on offer. Weapons also sound punchy and visceral taking a cue from Borderlands 1 weapons instead of the weak sounding Borderlands 2 guns. Character customization is expanded with all new heads and skins as well as getting to choose your own colors for everything. Weapons are now customizable with different skins and little trinkets you can equip to them for flair, there are no micro transactions, it is all purchased with one of the in game currencies called “Eridium”. I’ve been playing through the game on a base Xbox one and have encountered practically zero issues, only one so far being that certain vehicles don’t have an engine sound to them unless they’re on their respective planets where they were obtained. Borderlands 3 is slowly making its way to the top spot as my favorite game of all time, even beating out Metal Gear Solid 3. If you’re a huge fan of the series then this is a definite buy, and if you’re wanting to get into the series this is definitely a great starting point.… Expand

    I liked how gearbox and 2k made 6 month beta testing for this game to be sure that the bugs/other issues are fixed for the steam release. Maybe I'll buy it on steam (if I can run it whit my just bought 1400 euro pc) and I sure do hope 2k doesn't send some men in black suits to my house to investigate me and force me to delete this review along with everything else i have in the interwebz.

    This is game is broken mess, with the fact It being an epic exclusive being the icing on the sh1tcake.
    Best part is, performance problems are caused by an anti piracy DRM. So in turn when the game inevitably gets pirated not only will they have the game for free, but they will have a smother experience than any of us who actually wasted    Have over 2k hours in bl1 2 and presequel combined.

    Awesome game, ty for this. I dont big like borderlands 2. Bl3 much better In every little thing.

    But EGS is bad launcher and this competition is wrong. Could have been a choice with different prices and I support everyone who is against EGS exclusive. Epic games looks like a child throwing moneys. I 'll put a better fortnite score of 0.

    Gearbox has a problem: the fantastic Borderlands 2 is too good to be beaten. But in the case of Borderlands 3, it is still more than a worthy successor. The filmmakers brought many pop-cultural references, maybe pushing too hard on how they want to be “modern”, but otherwise it's a great game again. [Issue#298]

    Borderlands 3 offers a generous experience, with colourful characters, neat gameplay and a charming universe. Its formula, very close to that of the previous episodes does not revolutionize the show but its small new features bring a little freshness and the scenario makes us want to go to the end of the adventure. Its dynamism and nervousness make it a choice piece for adrenaline-ready FPS lovers and license fans.

    The fun, humorous storyline, some great dialogue and theatrical accents of the diverse characters, beautifully varied locations and the same great gunplay that Borderlands is renowned for, means that Borderlands 3 becomes another must have title in the series.
