    The gameplay is okay, and the loot is okay too.. with that being said, I'd wait til it's on the bargain bin at a used game store to buy it.

    Eh, 10hours in and while it is neat it doesnt have the same humor or edge as the old borderlands. Falls flat in a lot of cut scenes and the Cyclopse twins dont have the same quality as Handsome Jack had. It's okay but falls short of its predecessors.

    Its not bad, but its not that good neither. Its a good game to play with friends, and since it doenst have microtransactions and lootboxes, I add 2 more points to the rating.

Все победы над боссами у нас в роликах воруют девушки волшебницы. (сражаемся со всеми боссами, далее ролик в котором участвуют только девушки) в финале опять побеждаю только девушки. Главного героя как-бы нет.

    The Game feels nice and the gunplay is really fun. I haven't encountered any big bugs jet and I'm almost at the end. The framerate could be better and the inventory loading screens are bit laggy but overall not to bad considering that they most likely patch this in the near future.

    Definitely a good game and has improved on some aspects of the previous Borderlands. While some things like the story and main villan are arguable better in Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3 vastly Improves on other aspects such as Action skills, gun variety and playable characters.
    (Not gonna lie the massive negative reviews are quite puzzling, I'd understand a mass of mixed reviews, It seems    Definitely a good game and has improved on some aspects of the previous Borderlands.     Garbage game. You only do 2 things in this game. Kill swarms of bullet-sponge enemies and open loot boxes. That's it. There is nothing more to it. Also playing solo is essentially impossible so definitely don't get this unless you have several friends to who also want to play this.

    0 because the game in such a state requires full price. If it were a f2p demo then ok, but for the finished product, as developers state it, this is unacceptable.

    Excellent graphics. Funny presentation. It doesnt take itself serious and neither should you. Its just a fun game. And reviewer websites are trending towards indie trash games. So buy this game and support developers that make real games.

    The story of this game feels like a borderlands game with the heart removed. Looking back to borderlands 2 Handsome Jack was a villain that you liked thwarting. He was always a presence and they caught lightning in a bottle with him. Here i feel like they could have done something interesting with the cult but instead decided to try and create handsome jack, but this time we have 2 of him.
    I loved the idea of more worlds to explore because we had so much environment in Pandora in the last games to explore so it seemed like we were promised entire worlds to roam. Instead we got small chunks of pretty scenery with reskinned enemies and half as many side quests.
    This game lost the heart of borderlands and doesn't feel like it promises anything.
    When i finished this game i didn't sit back in relief like after any other borderlands play through and think, man i can't wait to do that again. Instead I just felt this knot in my stomach, and a feeling of emptiness.

You really need to read "Blood sweat and pixels" to better understand how hard it is.     It's a solid experience in the looter shooter genre, from the series that created this exact genre. Destiny, Division, Warframe, Anthem - every single game in this list exist because of Boarderlands. And every other looter shooter that will come after will exist for the same reason. Now, what about game? It's **** amazing. Obviously not a single game come without issues, but if you are fan of BL1 Bl2 and may be even BL Presequel - you have to play it. And i promise you, that you won't be disappointed. Gameplay is on completely another level in compare to last games. Especially GUNPLAY. All i can say about gunplay in BL3 - is that it's as close as it gets to the best gunplay in the genre - Destiny 2. Borderlands never had this. Sometimes gunplay in BL3 even completely goes over Destiny 2 level. So it's just outstanding job by devs. Sound design is abosolute marvel. Music - oh boi, you won't forger this.. Lot's of people talking about technical issues. That is something you can't deny for now. But i guess i am just a lucky one. So i have to go with score 10 for this game, even if it actually deserve 8.5. But with all this hate on the game.. I have to give it some credit.    … Expand

    And my god, the entire ending was so shoehorned in. it genuinely feels like the game should have ended at a specific boss fight (you will easily tell which one it is when you finish the story), but it's like the writers barged in and said "NO WAIT WE HAVE TO ADD THIS IN" and forced the entire dev team to half-assedly work on the last chapters, produce cutscenes missing sound effects and sound that is always out of sync, and an ending where a character, who is actually shown to be the least wise and knowledgeable in the entire story, indirectly explain to the player the complete obvious.
    If you legit crazy love Borderlands and it's formula enough to overlook the bland gunplay of BL2, and how outdated BL1 feels like I do, you will not regret buying this game.

    If you have played a Borderlands game before but it did not hook you in or you just enjoyed it because you were playing with friends more than anything else, avoid this entire series and never ever look back.

    If you have not played a Borderlands game before but you're interested in this: Instead of getting this, play Borderlands 2, solo (and don't play Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode aka 3rd playthrough since it's very badly balanced and sucks out all fun out of the game). If you enjoyed the formula of getting guns and constantly killing enemies, bosses, and opening chests for a chance at really great guns enough to play through it multiple times with multiple characters, then yes.     Overall, too fun to complain about anything. I have been playing on a potato computer and it still works with minimum settings and yet, even with the poor quality I have forced upon myself I still find this game amazing and fun.

    This game is out for almost two weeks and they still did not fix the Troy boss fight which one shot you and to fix it you have to exit to main menu and go back to the boss fight.
    Lazy ass quality assurance.

Окей, мы переигрываем последний раунд - 4 волны. 30 минут. И что-то видимо опять забаговала ибо врагов нет, а квест не засчитыывается. Ну вас, ребята с такой херней. As for the heavies, you may find yourself spending most of your ammo on a single opponent, who, even with multiple headshots, does not go down. I'm not talking about bosses, here, I mean just MOOKS require an inordinate amount of time and ammo.

    2) Every attack is a wave attack: Dozens upon dozens of opponents, attacking in waves at almost every setpiece. Add to this the magical ability of every last enemy to soak huge amounts of gunfire and it gets TEDIOUS.

    3) Technical problems: Nothing is quite like spending several minutes whittling down a half-dozen bullet sponges only to have a CTD and have to start the entire sequence again. Frame rate drops, freezes and stutters are far too frequent.

    4) The humor is gone. Everything is grim, except for occasional buffoonery from ClapTrap. The hip humor that made 1 and 2 memorable is conspicuously missing, as is character development. The use of allies in some battles is nice, but on the whole, no character made me care the least about what happened to them.

    5) The shooting accuracy has gone to @#!!. I don't know if it's a framerate problem, but it's extremely hard to target down the scope. I don't know why this decision was made, but with the relative weakness of sniper rifles, and the aforementioned bullet sponginess, forget playing a sniper. You can hit several head shots in a row with a standard sniper rifle and still not get the kill.

    I could go on (quest design is poor, the villains are, well, not engaging, etc.) but you get the idea. It's grindy, lacks the feel of a Borderlands game (there's more to it than "a billion guns" each varied only by minor stat tweaks, Randy) and doesn't run stably, even with a high-end PC. Saddens me, since I'm a big fan of 1 and 2, and even 1.5(?)    … Expand

    I finished the story along with all the side missions in 30 hours. Overall, the game-play feels nice, but the story was not very good, it revolved too much around two characters and left most of the interesting cast to the side for very little showtime. The side missions are a huge improvement to the previous games however, as they ditched the fetch quest style and gave each side mission it's own flavor and style. The easter eggs are nice and there are many of them. My biggest complaint with the game is when you reach the endgame. The endgame consists of a lopsided reward system and a terrible difficulty system that relies on rng modifiers. There isn't any real rewards for doing any of the endgame content such as TVHM, Proving grounds, or circle of slaughter, you can just farm easy boss fights for much more rewards than the endgame content. The endgame appears to leave people bored pretty early on from my experience with many other players. I see this game as a great play if you typically get your value out of games without playing the endgame, but to those who want more, look elsewhere.… Expand

    This game is garbage compared to the previous ones. The writing is horrible. Jokes are NOT funny. Gameplay is sub-par. Randy P. can just eat a whole bag of ButtStallion's droppings.

    I played around 50+ hours right now my main character is level 50+ got secondary character that will be level 50 soon.

    Why not a 10? first there are just buggs and some annoying ones too.. i lost my hole bank/shared storage and im still mailing with gearbox about it. i lost around 20 legendary items and some very strong ones because i was saving them there so i could try new ones look    I played around 50+ hours right now my main character is level 50+ got secondary character that will be level 50 soon.

    i'm not get higher than 80/90 fps and sometimes it wil be around 45.. the textures when you spam the first time are bad but that is an easy update to patch that.. sometimes i got delay in my inventory when i open in after doing alot bosses.

    Why i love the game?
    just because its borderlands. i got a **** ton of guns some very fun ones, i love to see some old characters backstory i love to see some old characters come back and i cannot wait to see the dlc in the hope we gonna search for lilith    … Expand

    Zooming stuttering makes it unplayable. Contacted Epic Games for a refund after 4 hours of gameplay (most of it trying to fix issues) and 2 days after purchase. Was denied. Spent $150 australian. Avoid.

    The game does look better than borderlands 2, but even with a 2070 my friend and I could hardly run the game at 60 on high settings without having major stuttering on occasions. It is clear that the game needed more time to be worked on, like how using directX 12 is really broken.
    Also, the humor of the game in the initial scenes i played was not funny at all.     The performance, along with the bad humor and the repetitive design from previous entries leaves a lot to be desired. Also in a push to look more next-gen or whatever, they made the game seemingly less stylized.

    Considering Gearbox's experience, this is the equivalent of someone like Apple releasing a phone in which iOS keeps crashing and restarting itself after 20 minutes of usage. The new characters are uninspiring and look like they were thought up in a day, in fact the actual game looks like it was put together from start to finish within 3 months.     Overall I'd say this game is ok. If I had to rate solely on gameplay this game gets a 9/10, it's just as fun as borderlands 2 with even more guns, better mechanics, and better loot. It is really fun if you focus only on gameplay. Here comes the two main negatives, the game is laggy as hell and the story is **** in my opinion.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. honestly a great game with bugs quite a few bugs, I've fell through the map multiple times theres a reloading glitch where i can't reload and jumping into space. performance of the PC version isn't the best but performance wise it isn't the worst either story is not as good as 2 but better than 1 and pre sequel.
    Combat and movement and graphics much improved
    Loot is just amazing the amount is crazy i dislike the fact most legendaries are world drops now and wish their was more content/characters are missing like Athena they built her up in tales and pre sequel that she'd be in the game not to be seen Fiona also etc alot of good characters missing hopefully to be seen in dlc    … Expand

    It's. Solid. Not great, but Solid The characters are worse, the guns can feel better or worse, the SMG's and assault rifles are very good, Maliwan weapons aren't. I don't think this should be the considered a best game. It's nowhere near the greatness that was Borderlands 2; 2/3rds of the way through the game.

    I like all of the Borderlands games: from the quite dated original game when it comes to many things, especially gameplay / gunplay, to the magnificent sequel we got with Borderlands 2, to the usually considered inferior The Pre-Sequel (which anyway had quite interesting new mechanics and small quality of life improvements), and even the quite unique Tales From the Borderlands, which wasI like all of the Borderlands games: from the quite dated original game when it comes to many things, especially gameplay / gunplay, to the magnificent sequel we got with Borderlands 2, to the usually considered inferior The Pre-Sequel (which anyway had quite interesting new mechanics and small quality of life improvements), and even the quite unique Tales From the Borderlands, which was very enjoyable and had quite an interesting story to tell.

    Now Borderlands 3 has arrived and, let me start with this: this game has amazing gunplay, vastly improving what the previous game had to offer which, in general, was considered a very good game (BL2) but with quite a bit subpar gunplay and overall feedback with most weapons. Borderlands 3 improves this so much that it’s so much more enjoyable just to play the game for the sake of shooting things, or just traveling around the levels, with the new mantle and sliding mechanics.

    As a first person shooter fan I have, in the last few years, enjoyed games like DOOM (2016), Wolfenstein: The New Order and New Colossus, Titanfall 2, RAGE 2, Quake Champions…all of those in general can be considered a good mix of both old school shooting and new modern mechanics all thrown in there for good measure. Borderlands 3 takes hints from all of these games, and probably more, and greatly improves the way we shoot at enemies, while also being able to do it while sliding like we were playing Titanfall or Quake 4 / Champions (with Slash that is), although is not “chain-able” meaning we only get one slide and then we have to run a little bit and crouch again to slide once more; it’s still quite fast because it can be enhanced via certain items, so it can really get pretty awesome in combat if you’re familiar with other games that allow similar movement mechanics. I just love it, it’s great.

    Now, the big change in BL3 though is the gunplay and its physics: man it’s amazing how the developers have taken Unreal Engine 4, and redo all of the gun mechanics from scratch for this game, so it feels fresh, more responsive and impactful than ever before in any Borderlands game. It truly is a game changer when you come from playing the older games, which are still great loot shooters, and then you see all you can do a lot better in BL3…it’s eye opening, for sure. This is what the franchise needed the most, and the developers knew it, and they have delivered.

    Now, on the loot part, there are a lot of improvements, we still have quite the crazy plethora of items, some of them doing really crazy stuff, as expected, but one of the changes I also noticed is the fact that playing the campaign for the first time on any character is a much better experience this time around, in normal difficulty that is; we seem to be getting higher quality loot this time, it feels better and more rewarding, but it’s still RNG based a bit, so the odd white item will still pop up.

    Since I play on PC, obviously a review needs to have some PC specs and performance data; I always do some thorough testing of most of my triple A games to try making them run the best for my hardware, so BL3 has been no exception. On my quite dated i5 4690K at 4.4Ghz, GTX 1070, with 16 GB DDR3 1866, Windows 7 Ultimate, the game can be tuned to run at constant 60 FPS most of the time with most settings set to Ultra, except Material Complexity (High) and Volumetric Fog (Medium). Other settings can provide a couple extra FPS here and there, but the differences are not as big as those two main settings that eat a lot of GPU power, mostly. I still can drop below 60 at times of heavy stuff happening, which combined with some stuttering (bug-related) can make it a bit annoying, but not game breaking, most of the time it stays above 50 and then back to 60.

    There’s indeed quite an annoying stuttering bug / issue when using scopes though, the developers know about it, so it’ll get patched soon enough, hopefully.

    Overall, just judging by how the game in itself is, I think it’s a must play for any Borderlands fan, or FPS fans in general that also love loot: It is very good and fun to play.

    Epic Store controversy and other shenanigans aside (I respect those who prefer Steam, It’s reasonable, the EGS launcher is just not good enough yet, plain and simple), the developers have done a great job elevating the franchise to new heights with Borderlands 3, and the stupid decisions from some number-crunching individuals from the publishing side shouldn’t tarnish all of the hard work hundreds of developers have poured into this game. It’s not perfect, but it’s Borderlands, it’s a lot more Borderlands than ever, actually, in every possible way, and Borderlands games have never been “perfect”, but yeah Borderlands 3 is really fun to play, and you can clearly notice all of the things that have been improved.

The story based on evil YouTubers doing the "hey guys!!!! What's up!!! It's ya boy so and so! Remember to like share and subscribe!" It pops up so often it's pure cringe. It's lazy and it's boring. Not to mention that the game is way deep in the females date strong too movement. The story is basically females females females.. and the very few men you come across are either gay or so dumb that all you end up thinking is really? This is what gaming has evolved into? There was even a moment where you are forced to listen to I am strong listen to me roar female rock for 10 mins during a mission. Hearing them call themselves rich **** and strong **** is so over the top fem bs that I'm not even sure what crowd they were pandering to with this one. The gun play is an exact copy of the previous games. So new gun mechanics were cool but they mechanics fade into the norm really quick. It also feels like the enemies are more of a bullet sponges thean ever. I expected more and am left trying to force myself to play a game that was suppose to be fun.     Больше причин я не нашел или не вспомнил! Игра великолепна! Мне очень обидно что ей занизели оценки не за что! Я уверен что это из за того что вы не решили разбираться в игре а просто услышали чье то мнение и все!

    Игра не идеально и заслуживает 8 балов но я бы поставил ей 9 а так как вы ставите ей плохие оценки я поставлю 10 чтоб немного поднять оценку игре!

    This game is absolutely unbeatable. Completely improves upon Borderlands 2 in every way and I can not stop playing it. Highly recommend, don't let any of the outside controversies effect the game, it is amazing and every one should enjoy it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Borderlands 3 is an entertaining, enjoyable and overall great sequel to the games that came before.

    I'm not intending to lie in this review, so yes, the performance on Day 1 wasn't what I would have expected to get from my machine, however by the time I was back from work on release day, they had already implemented a patch that seemed to have remedied the problem, now the only "Issue" is a slight stutter when loading areas (Which happens in 99.99% of all games)
    I now however get a consistent 70 frames on my rig which I can't complain about given its a 3 year old machine.

    Story wise: The story introduces a good number of new characters that aren't just knock-offs of other characters we've seen in the past games, there are several returning vault hunters and associates, though they're not as central to the story and self-referrential as compared to borderlands 1 to 2.
    The baddies of this game posess an interesting new power that's a change up from BL2, the combo of twin enemies is a refreshing mixup and gives them a good sense of rapport with one another, though it does sometimes feel they were working towards something else with their arcs and abandoned it at the last second. They are however brilliantly charismatic and also formidable, I found myself routinely wondering at what point they may pop up next to antagonize me.

    Gameplay: The QOL UI and Movement updates have made a big change in how playing the game feels with regards to menuing and getting around the map, having buttons to quick buy full ammo & full heal at vending machines is a brilliant addition, and sliding allows you to make combat more dynamic and have a bit more fun with yourself.
    It seems like there was a much larger variety in terms of drops and gun types/combinations and through my first playthrough I was able to test so many different combos and mechanics. The legendary droprate seems reasonable, I seemed to get a legendary drop from around 1/5 of the bosses, and the guaranteed quest legendaries were fun and unique.
    Quest wise there hasn't been a huge update from the format of questing in the previous instalments of the franchise, however it hasn't been made any worse in any significant aspect either.
    The scale of the game feels like it's been greatly increased, with the travel via your new spaceship to different planets and multiple vaults, it always felt like something fresh was being added whenever you travelled somewhere new.

    The voice acting as always is fantastic and the characters are incredibly fun to interact with (since when are they ever not in borderlands)

    The main thing I really noticed changed though is the music. Holy heck is the music insanely improved in this game, you can see in the trailers a boss that has fantastic musical based fight, and the same quality of boss music and general combat/driving music is present throughout the whole game.

    This brings me to my two gripes that I have with the game (hence why it's getting a 9)
    The first one is the "sirenification" of many characters, the reveal of Tannis being a siren was cool, however I can't help but feel that her abilities are basically just Angel's abilities from BL1 and 2, It would have been nice if there was a more hard link introduced about Angel's powers somehow choosing a new host or something along those lines, but instead it feels strange to know that for the entirety of BL2 Tannis could have probably been a whole lot more useful. It felt a lot like they could have leaned into it in the same way as Maya's powers tranferred to Ava but oh well. It was cool that the Calipsos were sort of a combined siren and their power was unique in itself, however having quite so many sirens all within the same storyline did feel like it diminshed how rare and important sirens had been made out to be in the previous games (Probably didnt help that I was also playing siren). Maybe if the calipsos had a kind of eridian tech that allowed them to absorb the powers instead of it being another siren power that could have made it feel a bit better for me.

    The other gripe is the final boss, which felt rather underwhelming. "The destroyer" which was claimed to be able to eat stars, and required the extinction of the eridian race as well as the power from 4 vaults to seal away... wasn't really any stronger that any of the other realeased vault monsters. It felt like out of a fight between the Warrior from BL2 and the Destroyer the warrior probably would have won.

    Other than that however I've thoroughly enjoyed almost every other aspect of the game. I've played for 48 hours according to EGL, and don't regret a moment of it or a single penny spent. Will look forward greatly to the coming DLC's and finishing up true vault hunter!

    Because this game is FUN. And we just come home from work and play it till like 2AM.
    The skills are fun, the jokes are fun and OH MAH GOODNESS, THE GUNS ARE FUN.

    I won't say that the BL3 is innovative, its not. But it has the right chemistry of a great co-op game; competitive, cooperative, funny. BL2 was awesome story-wise, but there i rarely switched guns.
    BL3 may not feature such amazing antagonist, but damn, it gets you into this satisfying dance of destruction.
    Hit that free digi-printed RPG from underslug rail of Vladoff. switch to bouncing Hyperion smg to stutter the enforcer so he'll lower his shield, finish with Torgue shotgun by sticking a bunch of gyrojets onto his face, hitting R and just enjoy the fireworks.

    To all the people scared about fps stuttering - DX11 and disabled volumetric fog will give you 60fps on a mediocre rig (I play on 1060TI and low tier i7) for now.

    They will fix this, remember the rage about Diablo 3 at launch with constant Error 37?
    Peope went ape-sh*t crazy, menacing with law-suits, torch mobs and homicide / suicide. And in a couple of weeks everything was resolved.

    Of course it is their fault for not optimizing the game, but I think that in a month or so 80% of performance issues will be solved.

    To all the people rage-bombing the game their never played because of the... launcher? What is your problem, mah dudes?

    Where this game excels is the variety of weapons and how they perform. The feedback from hitting targets is more satisfying than ever.

    There are some reports of technical issues, I've had a couple of frame drops in really intense gun fights (PC - RTX2080 - Maxed out settings) but I'm stable 90% of the time and today I had a weird bug where my screen went black, but walking backwards out of the area somehow fixed it so nothing major or game breaking, but that's just my experience.

    I was reading reviews on here the day of release giving it a 0/10, stating that it's littered with micro transactions and the story is poor, these are fake reviews with the intention of lowering the score, I have not found any microtransations in 17 hours so please don't take those or even this review at face value, have a look at some content on YouTube and make your own decision.

    A lot of the negativity is from people who are salty they can't play the game because they've decided not to buy from Epic

    Maybe wait a few weeks and see if the performance issues are sorted, as I said, I've not had a bad experience but that's not to say you won't. If you are desperate to play it, go for it, it is a really good Borderlands game with what I think is the most important aspect, gunplay, at a series best.    … Expand

    Don't believe the bad rep, the game runs smoothly if you choose DX11. By the way, it doesn't have micro-transactions! All special items can be obtained easily by playing, and you don't even have to grind for them, just do side quests.

    Extended review: So, all in all Boderlands 3 deserves to be called Borderlands -3-. It really feels like a new and improved game in almost every regard and, as pointed out above, the actual gameplay itself is better than in every other previous title of the series. It really feels like a new and improved game in almost every regard and, as pointed out above, the actual gameplay itself is better than in every other previous title of the series. It's all still "Borderlands" but on a higher level.

    However, this is pretty much where the Good ends and the Bad starts. In my very honest and disappointed opinion (being a huge fan of the BL series since the first game), the writing of the story and of most of the characters in it is absolutely horrendous. It ruins everything.

    First of all, the story's pacing is very bad. The missions do, in fact, flow into each other nicely, but there's no real direction to them. To me, it genuinely felt more like a grind than a true progression. A huge contributor to this grind-like experience were (almost) all the NPC's in the game. They were annoying as hell, unrelatable, and lacked depth. They were really just a bad means to an end, which specifically applies to most of the newly added characters, such as Ava, Vaughn, Rhys, or Lorelei..

    In conjunction with the poor writing for them, also the BL-typical humor is completely dragged through the mud in this one. It's almost nonexistent. The game tries so hard time and time again to be funny but it just ends up adding to the player's annoyance and frustration. It really didn't make me want to continue playing the game because it just kept on coming and coming, and every new attempt at being funny essentially was just a +1 on the disappointment scale.

    Also the story's villains were a huge disappointment. There was actually a lot of potential in them, but it wasn't actualized. Instead they ended up being unbelievably one-dimensional and basically made the player hate them only because they would constantly resort to calling him a "hctib" (reversed) and other such names. This just made them seem more dumb than anything else that the """writers""" possibly intended it to be.

    In conclusion, try it out for youself if you like, but IMO it's wasted money. I don't recommend it.    … Expand

    This is an actual review from someone else here, who gave it a perfect 10. Games with so many bugs, frame rate problems, unplayable splitscreens, and other things don't deserve a 10. I'm a big Borderlands fan- The 2nd game is one of my favorite games of all time and is rightfully thought of as a classic.

    There are many problems with the current iteration of BL3 though, so if I were you I'd toss all these recent "10" reviews out the door. Don't believe the corporate schills who've been sent in to try and mitigate this launch disaster- This is an enjoyable game 1) if you play solo and 2) when it works correctly. Menu lag is really bad across all platforms. Items can randomly permanently disappear from your stash forever. Your PC may crash while playing. Your CONSOLE may crash while playing. Resolution mode is included for those with a PS4 Pro yet is laggy as hell on the actual PS4 Pro and doesn't run properly.

    The guns themselves feel better this time around. Shotguns & hand grenades in particular are really powerful-feeling and great. The map areas are very huge and kind of force you to use vehicles to get around, so if you're not too keen on the "Borderlands driving mechanics" you may not like this. Sanctuary's layout (the hub level) is overly-complicated and confusing for a good while. The story is not good overall and many of the new NPCs are terribly-written. Thank god for Lilith at least!

    It's too bad Gearbox and 2K seem to be more focused on selling us the next DLC rather than fix their broken game that was rushed out the door.    … Expand

    Don't listen anymore to this review bashing, with their supposed "good arguments", optimization is quite good atm, some ppl are talking about lag with 1080 + some i7, i run with a 1060 at almost 100 fps in medium/high.

    The game is what we was waiting for, the jokes, the loots, the story

    I have no idea why I keep seeing comments about the game not working. It has been flawless on PS4 I play with my friends every day with no connectivity issues. The gameplay is smooth and classic borderlands. The story is extremely long, 40 hours at least and with the side missions it is easily over 60. More game time for me I suppose.     There are more then 180+ legendary items, while BL2 had around 90. Thats incredible.

    Game runs well on med-high with mid range setup:
    Ryzen 3 1200 (not overclocked)
    RX 580 4gb
    32GB ram

    Easily 60 avarage. Sometimes drop to 40-50, but open world and most of the time even in fights 60 and more. Only issue is micro stutter while aiming with long range scopes. But thats not all the time.

    Thats without any patches and additions. They will release patches soon and it will be even better.

    You wont regret it. If you like BL series, its a must. If you like division, destiny, its a must buy.    … Expand

    Game bugged , not optimized. Crashes. Gearbox were you in hurry ? New characters without personality except perhaps fl4k. Female characters are equipped with truck driver tongue.
    I love all these aggressive pro-feminine games against patriarchy and all these idiotic male characters. Fashionable Gearbox.
    If you are a lover Borderlands franchise you will returned to bl1 or bl2

    After reading these critics I feel very dissapointed of this community. The gameplay feels smooth, it has fixed all the bad things pre sequel had and brought tons of new things. The story is great and maps have great variety of enviroments. Overall really good experience.

Оптиимзация и прицеливание в оптику это два больших минуса игры, я очень люблю снайперские винтовки, но даже с притормаживаниями во время выцеливания врагов из-за укрытий я не могу ей снять оценку из-за технических огрехов.     Вопрос: Школота которая жалуется что в игре проблесмы с производиительностью, Epic Games и так далее.
    По поводу производительности. У меня стоит 750ti с 4гб памяти.расходуется до 3х, в среднем 40 кадров на средне низких. В чем жалобы? У меня игра идет с нормальными кадрами (ощущается комфортно и без проседов ниже 30). Это при том что карта уже устарела и годится разве что в офисы. Скачают игру на картах 10 летней давности и начнут ныть что игры не идет и плохо сделана. Или по поводу тех у кого 1070-1080. Какого года карта? На каких настройках вы играете? (играют на ультра с 2-4к). Покупайте норм железо если хотите гейминг 100 фпс на 4к с ультра настройкаи.
    Про Epic Games. Вы готовы заплатить за игру в два раза больше( чтобы игра для Gearbox окупила затраты на продажу в стиме)? Да вы так жидите 2 тысячи на покупку игры. При том что игра просто огромная. Чтобы иследовать весь мир неизвестно сколько нужно. И это на первом прохождении (на 2м открывается немного другой геймплэй)..
    Еще мне кажется что большинство критикующих даже игру не покупали. Большая часть критикивылилась от 13-14 сентября. Сколько за день-два можно пройти? Или не читать лор, или даже Пандору не пройти. В первом случае они просто пропустили игру, а во второмпрошли только обучение для новых игроков. Игра координально изменилась в сравнении с 1 и 2 бордой, взяв лучшее из каждой (за исключнием главных антогонистов и юмора местами)    … Expand

The first thing you might think is that my rig is outdated, but that's not the case, I'm running an overclocked I7 6700k, SN750 SSD, 24 gigs ram, and dual overclocked 980TIs. Basically, my rig laughs at the most resource intensive games you can throw at it, yet Borderlands 3 will randomly cause 100% disk usage, which will cause 1 of 2 things to happen. 1. the game will start having extreme framerate issues to the point of being completely unplayable or 2. will simply hang and crash. Let me stress, this isn't some problem at start up, this occurs randomly with no warning and seems to have no rhyme or reason to it, I've had the issue occur while selling items and while in combat. That's not even getting into the gameplay, which simply feels rehashed from BL 1&2; if it wasn't for the name change this game could have easily been a DLC that threw some tweaks into the mix. In addition, there's also terrible AI and difficulty scaling issues. I will give the game points on the humor front, it's funny and entertaining when you're not tearing your hair out over the performance issues. I have no comment on online play, as I don't even want to try with the issues I already have. Overall I'd give BL3 a solid 5.5-6 if it wasn't for the technical issues, which means it'll be a solid pickup once it goes on discount and hits the $25-$30 range, but for now stay away unless you are willing to be a beta tester for a game that definitely was not ready for release at launch.… Expand

However, I am really sick and tired of the stupid and boring main story of the game. To let a main character die in order to enrich the story? Again? Seriously? Well it's true that in borderlands 2 Roland died as well, but at least he died for his cause. But why Maya? Her death really depressed me as I used this character throughout borderlands 2 and then she died for an extremely stupid reason in 3? It's pretty much like in the Witcher 3 Geralt saved the world from the wild hunt after all the efforts he and his friends had made and became a hero finally, and then died simply by falling off the hill?     So many people are playing on did rigs or day one Xbox and PS4 if you're having that many issues. Game runs amazing on PC and Xbox. Don't let those that are trying to run it on an HP with Windows Me ruin it for you.

    I rented the game from Redbox (thank God) no matter how I mess with the visual settings all I get is a black screen after the intro video. I don't know WTF the problem could cause this, but I am extremely glad I did not purchase this game. Randy Pithford is a seriation and his words are not to be believed.

    Gearbox has a problem: the fantastic Borderlands 2 is too good to be beaten. But in the case of Borderlands 3, it is still more than a worthy successor. The filmmakers brought many pop-cultural references, maybe pushing too hard on how they want to be “modern”, but otherwise it's a great game again. [Issue#298]

    Borderlands 3 offers a generous experience, with colourful characters, neat gameplay and a charming universe. Its formula, very close to that of the previous episodes does not revolutionize the show but its small new features bring a little freshness and the scenario makes us want to go to the end of the adventure. Its dynamism and nervousness make it a choice piece for adrenaline-ready FPS lovers and license fans.

    The fun, humorous storyline, some great dialogue and theatrical accents of the diverse characters, beautifully varied locations and the same great gunplay that Borderlands is renowned for, means that Borderlands 3 becomes another must have title in the series.
