The neon sights and off-the-wall premise of Razed make it stand out as a unique and enjoyable indie. However, its reliance on memorization makes mastering its stages eventually become more tedious than fun.

As a dungeon-crawling roguelike, Sword of the Necromancer is quite predictable for the genre despite its clever resurrection mechanic.

I had a decent amount of fun with Kirby's Dream Buffet but that fun definitely doesn't stay around long which makes it a game that's best played in short bursts or as part of a multiplayer playlist. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an entire chocolate cake to eat.

If you like Lil Gator Game then you'll want to check out the adorable Mail Time as well even if it doesn't quite reach the same heights.

I'm very happy that Lumo 2 exists and if you're part of its very specific audience, you'll adore the diverse old-school adventure that it offers.

Even though it features nifty puzzles and a strikingly unique narrative, EQQO is held back in this non-VR console release.

Possessor(s) is one of the most unconventional Metroidvanias that I've played thanks to its visceral dystopian world and focus on equipment-based combat that rewards experimentation, practice, and patience much more than brute force. Now, that's clever and quite cool indeed.

Blair Witch is more of an exercise in tedium than it is an immersive atmospheric horror experience. There are some clever mechanics and a ton of replay incentives yet the campaign manages to derail from its promising premise thus making the rest of the story fall flat.

Jurassic World Aftermath Collection is a solid VR game that's tense without being scary and somewhat enjoyable without offering anything particularly unique in its gameplay formula. In short, it'll provide thrills for anyone who's too scared to play a VR horror game.

In terms of the quality of its games, Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo is a slight notch below Alpha but it's still great to have 6 classic titles in 1 convenient collection. It's just too bad that it's missing any supplementary content.

If Legrand Legacy was on the original PlayStation, it would have a small cult following but in this day and age, you'd expect much more originality from a retro-style RPG. It does a lot well but it also doesn't go above and beyond to provide a must-play experience.

Disintegration provides some of the best multiplayer action that I've ever played. At the same time, its single player campaign can be downright tedious and frustrating so I can only recommend it to those who enjoy competing online.

If Obey Me's many elements culminated in a more focused combat system then it would have been a must-have arena brawler.

Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder is a tough game to recommend, especially because it released over a month ago as of writing this and it's still as annoyingly glitchy as it is. There is a bit of fun to be had, though, especially for those who love the grind.

Gliding around while shooting ink to turn enemies into platforms is indeed fun but Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San is still an old-school 2D platformer that could have done much more to stand out in such a crowded genre.

Yuso is an adorable puzzle game that anyone can play with ease. However, its reliance on trial and error and lack of replay value hold it back from being a must-have noodle-scratcher.

In the end, at least Windscape's graphics are fairly snazzy and you get a super-cool shield to pair with your weapons when you craft them. The maintenance wrench actually has moving parts and the shield that it comes with has a giant gear around it that moves in sync with the wrench. If the entire game had that level of love and finesse, it could have been a real gem.

At its core, Lichtspeer works as a simplistic arcade experience. Unfortunately, its blatant disregard for the average (and even the hardcore) gamer's enjoyment makes it a very difficult game to recommend.
