As a long-time fan of SRPGs, I've never played anything quite like Reverie Knights Tactics before and I'm glad that I did. It can be a punishing and trying experience at times but once your strategies pay off; holy hot darn, is it rewarding stuff.

Mega Man Battle & Fighters is a highly entertaining portable interpretation of 2 arcade treasures that are themselves nifty compilations of classic Mega Man boss fights. So, if you're a fan of the Blue Bomber then definitely play this.

After the gameplay really sunk in, I ended up having a blast with WARRIORS: Abyss but it definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea.

Yes, Outcast - A New Beginning doesn't feel like a modern game and that's actually its primary appeal so if you have fond memories of 15 year old action adventure games then you'll love what's in store for you in this open-ended planet-exploring journey.

Root Letter is an intriguing title with an interesting story that manages to stay engaging throughout. Although a couple of weird Japanisms occasionally get in the way, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys visual novels and detective games.

Punch Club is the kind of game that's addictive in short bursts. Therefore, if the idea of a training simulator appeals to you then it may be worth picking up but keep in mind that it likely won't inspire you to train every day.

Darius Cozmic Collection Console includes a handful of solid classic 16-bit shoot 'em ups. Although they're not as enjoyable as their arcade counterparts, you surely can't deny that there's a lot of fun to be had shooting up all sorts of space sea creatures here.

As I played Rocket Arena, my enthusiasm for its gameplay drained while the sterile nature of it all gradually reared its ugly head. There's certainly some fun to be had but you likely won't enjoy it for as long as its genre competitors.

It's certainly not a great light gun style experience but Gal Gun Returns is currently the best that the series has to offer. So, if you want to zoom in on anime girls, look up their skirts, and have some fun in the process, you should definitely give it a go.

It may not be for hardcore simulation fans but folks like me who enjoy a more arcade-style sim experience will find Spacebase Startopia to be quite a delightful gem of a game. Plus, it's downright hilarious.

At this point in time, Super Beat Sports is definitely one of the best multiplayer experiences available for Switch. Whether you enjoy competing or cooperating with friends, there's enough rhythm-based fun here to liven up your next party.

As a huge fan of turn-based SRPGs, I can easily say that Othercide is one of the most unique and rewarding games that I've ever played. Even though repetition rears its ugly head after a while, there's no denying that Othercide pushes the boundaries of the genre.

Just like in the classics, Carmen Sandiego hides its educational qualities behind an entertaining gameplay formula that folks of all ages can enjoy and who knows? Maybe you'll learn something while you capture VILE members through your globe-trotting adventures.

When I first loaded up Outlast 2, I expected an unsettling experience and that's what I got. Unfortunately, it wasn't always for the reasons the developers intended. If you can get through its many frustrating sequences, there are some good scares awaiting you but it's an incredibly flawed affair that will surely come as a disappointment to fans of the original.

If you're looking for the next must-have competitive multiplayer game then you may be disappointed with Strikers Edge's basic gameplay and lack of content. However, its frantic fast-paced formula is fun enough to be worth playing from time to time.

Within the Blade will definitely make you feel like a ninja and by that, I mean you'll have to tirelessly train in order to become a master of your craft. Once you do, the reward of stealthily slaying hordes of guards is a nice payoff but it's a steep climb to get there.

Exoprimal is a hilarious game that will likely (and unfortunately) fall flat in today's overly serious gaming culture. However, if the concept of mowing down a ludicrous amount of dinosaurs because an AI tells you to puts a smile on your face then you're sure to love it.
