    Everdream Valley is an adorable farming simulator that involves, animals, farming and a bit of magic. What feels like a giant sandbox worth of adventure, is worth the bucket and spade. Whilst it isn’t a perfect game, there is a plethora of farming to be done within the Valley with an interesting story mechanic that is unlike other entries.

    Everdream Valley delivers on its promise of an open-ended farming experience. As bright and cheery as it looks, not everything is as polished as the cute, rotund animals. I find objectives aren't always clearly marked which leads me to question if there's more fatal problems lurking. The merchant does offer some expensive shortcuts to completing quests but, for the most part, I'm enjoying the cosy adventure on offer. It could be more direct in some circumstances but is a decent effort.

    Everdream Valley tries to walk its own path, one that is not very different from other games of the same genre. There are some odd game design choices and a couple of bugs, but nothing that affects the fun of the overall experience. However, after about 10 hours, the time it takes to completely finish it, I can’t help but feel like that’s something still missing. The game feels a bit rushed, as some features seem to not have been fully implemented probably to release the game faster. Luckily, all these issues can be fixed easily, but even with those Everdream Valley is still an enjoyable, cozy experience.

    Farm sims are a dime a dozen. For every great one, there’s a bad one. The problem isn’t that Everdream Valley is bad. It’s just that there just isn’t much fun with the farm life. All the staples are here, and they’re fine. What’s worst than hatred? Indifference. I feel indifferent about Everdream Valley. Is there a lot to see and do in Everdream Valley? Yes. Do I want to work my way through to see it all? No.

    There’s a solid game somewhere underneath all the unnecessary additions so if the art style appeals to you and you’re the kind of person who can sink hours into a pet project then maybe Everdream is for you, for me? I’ll go back to watching the timer for Final Fantasy XVI tick down. So long.

    Great Game, only the SaveGames are broken, i start the game 2 times and by the PigQuest can´t save anymore... and Savegame deleting only overGreat Game, only the SaveGames are broken, i start the game 2 times and by the PigQuest can´t save anymore... and Savegame deleting only over PS5 System Wtf. Unplayable on PS5 ? nooo....

    So Many Bugs like Cyberpunk but my money doesent come back to me    … Expand
