DCL is a great experience and a lot of fun; with many sponsors, professional players and fans it easy to see how this has become a popular sport, so why not make a game to go along with it.? Many challenging tasks await and if you have the patience, you too can drone like a pro.

DCL - The Game manages to accurately simulate the real racing drone experience, with great drone set-up depth and realistic controls. Its lack of tutorials/aids and too few and limited modes might make it difficult to approach by newcomers, but any DCL fan should try it.

The use of different flight options can almost act like a training simulator, but for those looking to invest in a drone without the hefty price tag, this would be a good place to start.

If you're already a drone racing fan then DCL - The Game may scratch an itch but other than that, it's difficult to widely recommend.

It took me a bit to learn the controls and settings to be able to play somewhat decently. The game has you move your stick left to yaw/roll right, and move the stick right to yaw/roll left. Also set the sticks to have 0 acceleration in its default center state otherwise its impossible to hold down on acceleration to assist with turns and dive style turns down, or for the quickly needed handbrake turns. By default there's tons of upward acceleration and hardly any speed going down if you hold down to accelerate. I get why they would have that option, it just felt awkward to me set up that way. I was able to complete the easy maps. I've mastered them for the most part for the different drones to select from. I tried to play the intermediate maps and failed miserably, so maybe it’s just my lack of experience and drone flying skills in the way, but it seems this game will be difficult to master for newcomers like myself. If you’re a fan of drones or experienced in the flying of them you may have a much easier go than I have experienced, I've seen the pros on TV and my skills in no way match those. Regardless the graphics, sound, and fun are on par for the game so fans of the genre will be more than pleased and if you’re a newbie like me it may take you some practice to begin to enjoy what the game really offers Xbox One owners. It's always nice to see new genres enter the oversaturated market of old concepts. DCL - The Game is definitely a new experience. Expand
