If you enjoy fast-paced action then you'll find a lot to love about Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade even with its repetitive campaign.

The combat of Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is enjoyable enough, and it's great that there are three unique playable characters, each with a range of weapons to unlock. A lack of variety when it comes to stages and enemies really hurts the game's longevity, though, as the story at the heart of this adventure isn't enough to carry it.

All things considered, Yasha is an anime roguelite that doesn’t bring anything revolutionary to the table with each new playthrough. What you're left with is a one-time burst of fun that might at least give your fingers a workout as you try to make every battle look as flashy and cool as possible.

Once the initial enthusiasm for the dual wielding weapon and the three warriors has waned, run after run the flaws of Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade become more and more evident and allow excessive repetitiveness to take over.

Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade isn't a bad game, but it's not a good game either. The graphic design would certainly have deserved more attention for the actual systems and the three stories, despite being different and pleasant to play, offer the same enemies and bosses. You will fell about playing the same game three times, and it is a shame. But there's worse out there.

Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade feels a little undercooked. The core combat is simple but fun to experiment with. Unfortunately, the game lacks a diversity in stage design and can become repetitive very quickly. The narrative's not really the carrot to dangle over repeated playthroughs and, even if runs are quick, I tired of them. It's a short commitment but I saw all I needed to see very early.

Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is a fairly standard and simple roguelike game with nice graphics and a combat system that can be frustrating with its linearity and lack of variability.
