Tormented Souls is a great option for survival horror fans, especially for those who love the original Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. Despite a few technical hiccups, it's a 10-hour adventure that will keep you with your eyes wide open and your heart beating fast until the end.

Following the footsteps of its predecessor, a hidden gem inside the vast 3DS library, Pocket Card Jockey - Ride On! is a delicious game to play, really the best of both worlds in a fun and unexpected way. Especially at this price range, buy it, play it, and good luck on your races!

Toziuha Night: Order of the Alchemists changes its core and improves on all aspects compared to its first game (Dracula’s Revenge). It’s a challenging and rewarding experience in terms of exploration. The game mixes mechanics from the many Castlevania titles in a simple and fun way and, despite some bugs and rough edges, it’s a great title for those who love Metroidvania titles.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fantastic, fun and smart game, which ended up overshadowed during the window of major releases.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central is an excellent and competent rhythm-based game, but its licensed song nature is probably something to consider.

Monster Hunter Stories returns triumphantly in the remastered version for the Nintendo Switch. The game's captivating storyline, endearing characters, and the wide variety of Monsties available for play make it an excellent entry point into the Monster Hunter universe and an enjoyable twist for fans of the franchise and turn-based RPGs.

Many may compare it to Tarantino's movies, some may say that it is worse than the original and others may argue that such violence is abusive, but in the end everyone wants to draw their katanas and make the blood flow.

Pokémon Pokopia is a very fun concept of the formula that enshrined the Minecraft franchise, but with an excellent implementation of its own world, creatures and context.

SophStar is a lot more than a homage to the classical vertical shoot em ups; It's a diverse, yet fast Shmup with 9 ships that offers a different approach to each stage. For the new public who enjoy a more simulator style, the game offers side missions through cadet school in a fast and innovative way. This is clearly a Shmup made by people who understand the classics and aim to innovate for both new players and veterans.

Revelations was great on the 3DS and it is still good on the Wii U.

Shovel Knight is a great example of the importance of Kickstarter. The result here is a satisfying, accessible, quality product which not only rivals but also exceeds many superproductions from other companies, notably bigger, that not always reach this level of inspiration.

You are, for sure, waiting for a Mario Kart on the Wii U, but until that happens, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed can satisfy your "hunger".

Rogue Aces is the best Arcade game I've played this year. It's a creative game and very well animated, with graphics that resemble Metal Slug and sound effects almost perfect highlight this. Several options for game modes make the replay factor increase a lot. It is highly recommended for those who like aerial battles or even for those who have that free time at lunch, because Rogue Aces is a game to play for pleasure without worrying about its end, an authentic Arcade.

Oxenfree is a good game. With amazing history, music and dubbing, anyone who likes the "walking simulator" genre will enjoy the game.

Super Daryl Deluxe is the product of a sincere and naive creativity. There are some flaws in the combat system, but they never frustrate to a point that I wanted to give up on the game. I recommend it to everyone in search of a feature rich and uncompromising experience.

Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis On The Move is the best game in the franchise.

Sonic Frontiers tried so hard to bring new elements to the game that it ended up forgetting to put more of the personality of its own franchise. However, they managed to create a dynamic, captivating and fast game - as good as any other in the Sonic franchise. It's the kind of game where time passes like lightning, blue lightning.

Just Dance 2023 Edition brings all the freshness that the franchise needed and a definitive solution by making it as a service instead of an annual title. A must-have game for lovers of good dancing and partying with friends.

Star Wars Outlaws is an amazing port and yet another proof that next-gen ports are far superior to what we got on the Switch 1. With stunning graphics, fluid gameplay, and stable FPS both in docked and handheld modes, this Ubisoft masterpiece delivers an incredible open-world experience set in the Star Wars universe, between Episodes IV and VI of the beloved sci-fi franchise. The game features a dense and vibrant world full of activities, borrowing well-executed elements from series like Tomb Raider and Metal Gear Solid. It’s a standout title on the Nintendo Switch 2 and an incredible experience for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Loddlenaut was a pleasant surprise. Although brief, the experience in GUP-14 is extremely sensorially pleasant, and deals with an extremely serious and present theme, which is environmental preservation, in a light and calm way, with many cute little alien monsters to be found and cataloged.

Maybe not as much fun as Mighty Flup Champs!, Mighty Milky Way is still interesting and full of content, and capable of keeping the player on the DSi for a long time.

Dead by Daylight: Five Nights at Freddy’s wasn’t just the most anticipated chapter in DBD’s history—it delivered. A landmark moment for horror gaming and a stellar kickoff to DBD Year 9, this chapter gives us the Animatronic Springtrap (a nightmare perfected for DBD’s roster), a meticulously crafted map, and quality-of-life updates that feel long overdue. A love letter to FNAF fans, merged perfectly with DBD.

Ryu gives space to the ninja Kenji in this excellent new adventure in the Ninja Gaiden series. The game shows that it understands what the modern era requires from titles of the platform and action genre, while respecting the original work.

Biomorph breathes fresh air into the Metroidvania genre with its standout mechanic—absorbing and transforming into defeated enemies. While future titles could push this concept further, it remains a rock-solid addition to the genre that will satisfy most players. The game’s distinctive art style and endearing characters pull you into its world, while rebuilding and personalizing the city of Blightmoor lets you leave your own mark on its streets.

The different modes are good at showing the many ramifications of the great idea around of which the game is build, a sign of the a developer with excitement and trust in what it was doing: a simple, original and fun game.

While the cooperative mode is exceptional, the new single-player experience, despite practical, is very tiring.

Generations holds everything that makes the series to be so cherished. Its mistakes, while inconvenient, are the results of the desire of creating something different and desire of honor a legacy at the same time.

Damon and Baby is a dungeon crawler with a curious story and well-made gameplay. Despite its quality, it falls short in its Roguelite aspects, in addition to the co-op that doesn't work very well. Overall, it's a very creative product.

The third game in the Gear.Club franchise is a total success in terms natural evolution within the genre, but still has points that show some amateurism from its developers.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 is a good compilation and have a nice number of content. I recommend to any fan of platform games. It is a game with enough content to guarantee fun for a very long time.

Although it misses the opportunity to add more content, Lunar Remastered Collection brings two of the best non-Square Enix RPGs from the Sega CD/PS1 era back, correcting all of its flaws, bringing HD graphics to the table (animations included!), and a fast and fluid way to play these two incredible games. A must-buy for classic RPG fans.

Mushroom Wars 2 is a strategy game with cool design and mechanics, but you need some skill at higher levels. Having quick matches, the game gives a good amount of hours of play, even though it does not have a very diverse history. Hero skills are the key factor, which makes the game more fun and strategic, especially in multiplayer matches.

Cult of the Lamb is a beautiful marriage of cuteness and macabre, in an adventure with experiences that change every time we play.

SD GUNDAM BATTLE ALLIANCE is a great game for fans or those curious about the franchise. It brings a combat system that is not very intuitive, but easy to learn. Totally recommended for fans of the series or of giant robots.

Excitebike: World Rally is a genuine ode to the classic of the 1980s. The game mantains the gameplay that captivated fans of the original Excitebike and adds a better tracks editor, online multiplayer and beautiful graphics to the formula.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 is a good game for JRPG fans more focused on history than action. Despite being a bad starting point in the series, it holds up as a good game, but unless you want to get to know the whole universe, there are better options than it.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond didn’t revolutionize the series the same way the first Metroid Prime did. It introduces new ideas, but doesn’t fully explore their potential. That being said, this new first-person action-adventure starring Samus Aran is a worthy entry in the Metroid universe, featuring the most challenging and engaging battles in the Prime series, an epic narrative with memorable boss fights, charismatic characters, and a more fluid exploration experience (backtracking included) than its predecessors. Add to that beautifully crafted graphics and arguably one of the best original soundtracks the Prime series has ever offered.

CyberConnect2 did a great job and hopefully Solatorobo will not be forgotten as its predecessor, because of the games of the last gasp of the DS, this one is certainly worth the investment.

Even with some mistakes, it's clear that Treyarch is no longer a supporting role in Call of Duty.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold - The Videogame is a very good game, and for that there is no doubt. Obviously, it has its flaws (not many, not few), but instead of failure, it is more appropriate to call them "points for improvement".

What saves the single-player are the challenges (which nevertheless get repetitive over time).

The fourth installment in the series is another great title for the lineup of Wii U.

Revelations is not a milestone in the series, is not brilliant, but it is very competent, both technically and conceptually, and has something that the series is really needed: personality. This is the time to Resident Evil stop and think where to go. Revelations is a step in the right direction. One single step.

Call of Duty Black Ops is the most complete First Person Shooter on the DS at the moment.

Despite some errors, Toy Story 3 is a fun game.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is a faithful remake of the game originally released in 2003. The game has great graphics, multiplayer mode, extensive levels and collectible items. However, it is worth noting the low level of difficulty in the story mode and considerable falls in frame rate at sometimes. Still, it is a great choice for lovers of 3D platform games.

Super Mario 3D World is one of the greatest (if not the best one) Wii U games that finally hits the Switch. However, the Bowser's Fury DLC feels like a shallow content included only to justify the full price being charged for a past released game remaster. For those who has already enjoyed everything that 3D World offers, there's no much reason to get this re-release, except the addition of the online multiplayer.

With its focus on the multiplayer mode, unfortunately, the game has a lack of options, as local matches for four players and two or more player support on the Wi-Fi Connection. It may sound childish, but, for only 800 Nintendo Points, it offers an entertainment for big FPS fans guys.

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is an excellent metroidvania, with an incredible and challenging combat system. Despite the lack of feedback on some things, it is fully recommended for fans of the genre and gives good rewards with extra content.

It lacks story, content and even hours, but that's not enough to remove its extreme fun and addictive gameplay. On Switch, you can bring the game anywhere, but it's still preferable to play on TV, since it manages to retain beautiful graphics, constant FPS and more control precision. If you Like FPS, this game is a must buy for the System.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds doesn't try to reinvent the wheel—and honestly, it doesn't have to. It stays in its lane and executes its formula smoothly. While it could pick up speed in the casual modes department, its stacked roster, dynamic track designs, and deep customization options ensure it still crosses the finish line as a winner.

WarioWare: Move it! is a mix of feelings. It's simultaneously corny, extremely fun, and bizarre, and too short, and crazy, and sick.

Unlike many games of the same genre, LEGO Party! manages to masterfully apply the Mario Party formula and introduce some fun minigames with unique personality.

Silksong offers an experience that blends enchantment with certain frustrations. The game keeps the player engaged most of the time, sparking curiosity with each new map explored. I recommend Silksong especially for Metroid enthusiasts, but not for all players.

System Shock is a great remaster that delivers beautiful visuals, rewards exploration, and strong action. Some minor drawbacks such as environments with similar looking textures, difficulty spotting certain items, and small font size do not interfere with the fun to be had in this excellent FPS with survival horror vibes on the Nintendo Switch.

Retro City Rampage DX is a short and simple game, but the ingenious and inordinate use of 80s references plus the updates of the portable version make for a unique and innovative experience.

Super Mombo Quest is a great game that mixes different types of gameplay and explores them in a unique and lively way; it is impossible to read MOMBO COMBO and not sing. It is a highly recommended game for players who love metroidvanias and platforms.

Okinawa Rush is a treat for beat-em-up fans and anyone looking for a challenge. Making all the endings and finding all the secrets guarantees many hours of play, even on an easy difficulty. Although it has its problems (the menu and the feng-shui system), it's one of the best games I've played this year.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is a fan tribute to the classic SEGA game. It carries the original DNA in both the pros and cons. The art direction provides a beautiful graphic experience, however the level design and controls remain true to the original.

The setting and combat in Maiden of Black Water sets it apart from anything else in the genre, something just right for anyone looking for a break in tradition. However, certain aesthetic choices and movement issues prevents it from reaching higher levels of enjoyment.

Despite the status of a classic, DuckTales wasn't and still isn't exceptional in the genre. But it is very fun.

Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is a true classic run-and-gun with excellent humour, soundtrack and art direction. For 800 Nintendo Points, the title is great for genre fans which already paid this for other titles. Just don't expect be on front of TV so long.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon is a combination of two franchises that ends up doing very well, and it's on the same level as other great RPGs on the 3DS.

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a game with a simple structure, but one that brings a solid experience that is very well built. The story starts simple and surprises players by it’s end and the characters become more interesting with time. The combat, mechanically simple, is elevated due to it’s animation and good balancing. This is not a RPG that will surprise for bringing new things to the genre, but by how well it does all things that we usually take for granted.

The Ezio Collection is an outstanding collection for Switch owners, besides being a great opportunity to get to know better one of the best characters in the AC series.

The game's very lengthy, and is worth the higher price point. The lack of BGMs is worth noting, but doesn't deduce much from the satisfactory package.

Intelligent, well-paced and never unfair, the well-animated adventure of Leo the Lion is definitely good, although short. Buyers will be left wanting more.

Dead by Daylight: Sinister Grace transports players to Thailand, beautifully bridging tradition and modernity. The Krasue is a powerful Killer who introduces fresh strategic possibilities, while Vee proves a solid Survivor—one poised to challenge fan-favorites for a place in the community's heart.

Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is a fantastic game that you can enjoy at your leisure, without feeling rushed or competing with others. It offers a long and enjoyable experience that you may not want to replay, so make the most of its low price and dozens of hours of gameplay, and have a great time.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 delivers a deep narrative and versatile gameplay with solid TV-mode performance and innovative controls, despite handheld frame-rate drops and occasional visual glitches. Recommended for RPG fans seeking a premium portable experience and optimistic about Switch 2’s AAA potential.

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is a must for any of the hedgehog's fans. And to all other players, it's worth a try. Bioware did a great job which deserves to be seen by everyone.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is a very innovative roguelike with its character moveset evolution mechanic. Besides being a treat for fans of the fighting game franchise, it's also very accessible to roguelike enthusiasts who aren't so familiar with combos, as well as more casual players. It's very addictive once you get the hang of it, and the variety of characters and styles helps a lot to avoid the simple repetition of the genre.

Breakers and Breakers Revenge were already fluid, competitive and fun on Neo Geo, but now QUByte brings the game with progression unlockables, a dedicated online mode with Crossplay and new modes that manages to improve what was already good. Breakers Collection is a must have for Nintendo Switch owners that love 2D classic fighting games.

Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is surprisingly great, which made me smile to the point of disbelieving. The mix of a Runner type of game with a beat them up was successful and with a lot of gameplay variety, detailed and fluid graphics make the game stand out from other Indies. The game has a few issues, but nothing that can break the great experience it gives. The single player and local multiplayer work very well, which will keep players busy, especially if they go for 100%.

What we have here is a Final Fantasy: plot is good, gameplay is good, soundtrack is good and everything else is. The problem is once again in Square Enix's hands: they think it's [financially] interesting to launch a GBA game on Wii with prices of full DS titles.

OddBallers has all the elements needed for an amazing party game, both to play with your friends and family at home and to play online for hours. What blocks it from doing it is the high price, which chases away many people who would love to play it.

Decline's Drop is a great action platformer that shows how an idea can emerge from a desire to want more of something. Decline's Drop is much more than something inspired by Super Smash Bros; it's a beautiful creation of art and sound, with combat that has its own hand-drawn style, all from the mind of its creator.

Consistently competent and without great ambitions beyond the volume of content, Blacklist is not the definitive experience of Splinter Cell, but reunites the series.

The biggest problem in High Voltage Hot Rod Show is its durability, which is not new on WiiWare titles. However, the interesting concept, the good graphics and the world rank will make you play it again in short sessions.

Fans of arcade games that like the quest for self overcoming will enjoy the experience -- despite the lack of leaderboards. Hours of fun for just 600 Nintendo Points.

Sonic Lost World doesn't have a good story and requires a lot of adaptations to the controls. But it is a excellent game, fun, addicting, varied, with ingenious boss battles and is full of content.

It is undeniable that Sin & Punishment: Successor Star is a quality title, and perhaps one of the most action-packed that can be found on the Wii. But it, like its predecessor, will fall in many concepts to the extreme by trying to be a coin-op on a console.

This port is an amazing comeback of one of the greatest counterparts for The King of Fighters in the Neo Geo era. It has many interesting extras, achievements to enrich the single-player experience and, although it could have some balance against bosses and less long loading screens to access modes, this is a great port to have on Switch if you are a fighting game enthusiast.

A nice puzzle game, with enormous possibilities and exciting puzzles.

The DX version of Sigma Star Saga is an excellent shmup with RPG elements, imbued with a nice and mature story that grants a dark atmosphere like those seen in Metroid Fusion and MGS Ghost Babel. Despite that, more in-game extras and a better rebalance of the experience system, since the random encounters were reduced, would make a huge difference.

With no online multiplayer and poor graphics, Ridge Racer 3D is a game with close to no ambition, but one that entertains with an ideal gameplay, many hours of content and a nice use of the 3D effect. Definitely one of the best games the 3DS launch has to offer.

The third game is the conclusion that the Blaster Master Zero series was deserving, since it doesn't have an inventive way to be iterated anymore without losing its identity.

Cotton Fantasy is a celebration of 30 years of the Cotton franchise that shows very well all the evolution and affection that the series has had over the years. Classic, challenging and affordable. Perfect for those who like to compete for high scores, challenge themselves or even just play casually.

Fun, deep and full of content, Mortal Kombat 11 is a complete fighting package. However, little performance and aesthetic problems, as well as the reliance on an internet connection to play single player content, prevent the game from achieving its true potential on Switch.
