    Sonic Frontiers is a brave game that sets a new standard for the franchise. Although it has certain flaws, such as a world that feels somewhat repetitive at times, it is tremendously fun. Without a doubt, the best Sonic game in years and a right step into the future.

    This game has a lot of rough edges and things that on paper shouldn’t work, but it completely sucked me in anyway. Its flaws mean I could understand anyone who bounces off of it, but I think even for those who don’t get into it the way I did, you have to at least respect the effort here. It tries something very new for the series, and if this is how good the first attempt at this style went, I can’t wait to see what comes next. What a weird thing to feel about 3D Sonic.

    Sonic is back in a mixed bag of mixed bags, though the positives outweigh the negatives for the most part. Combat can be engaging, depending on the enemy, and zooming across open zones takes a while to get old. Still, if you’re looking for infallible performance, the Switch version might not be the best port of call.

    Sonic Frontiers can't offer any outstanding visuals, but some of the levels give a strong nostalgic vibes, while open world segments are filled with some great boss fights and nice puzzles. Frontiers is definitely better than anything Sonic Team has done in the past 10 years time, so it is a step in the right direction at the very least.

    Sonic Frontiers manages to blend the speedster’s gameplay with an open-world setting, but it does so in a rather unrefined way. There’s fun to be found in Frontiers’ most exciting moments, but the overall package is lacking polish.

    Sonic Frontiers is a brave new direction for the series, but this first ‘open-zone’ entry misses the mark by quite a margin. Traversal and combat annoyances plague the experience from start to finish, while structurally the game offers up very little variety, instead leaning on repetitive fetch quests that get exasperating after the first island. As far as the Switch version goes, it’s quite comfortably the worst option available to fans, with graphical compromises that make it impossible to recommend if you're able to play it anywhere else at all. If you’re going to get this game, we implore you to try it out elsewhere.

The pop in is big and there is some bugs (not much) but the game could have been more polished. the story was really good, i just wish the animations were better, its a big improvement from forces, but its still not good enough. The combat was really fluid, i just think some enemies were a bit too easy, we like challenging fights kishimoto-san, the super sonic fights and the music behind them were Amazing!! One of the best parts of the game. But the final boss was kinda dissapointing, they should have sticked with the same format and make it more challengin. Overral its a awesome game, they can definitely improve it with the next games.… Expand

    El juego es verdaderamente una gran mejora desde forces, me atreveria a decir que es uno de los mejores si no el mejor juego de sonic 3D queEl juego es verdaderamente una gran mejora desde forces, me atreveria a decir que es uno de los mejores si no el mejor juego de sonic 3D que jamas se ha hecho, una de mis pocas quejas con el juego es antes del tercer jefe, el minijuego de pinball es simplemente muy tardado sin abusar de estrategias como esperar a que el siguiente anillo apareca mientras no haces nada pero fuera de eso me ha parecido un muy buen juego que deberia darsele una oportunidad si o si si alguna vez haz jugado aunque sea un solo juego de sonic. por cierto el OST es buenisimo Don't look down!
