Queen’s Quest 3: The End of Dawn on Xbox One manages to possess a story full of intriguing plot points, some truly wonderful artwork, a cracking bonus chapter and a shed load of collectibles. Unfortunately, it’s held back by the mini-game selection, the terrible animation and a cursor issue which really puts a damper on every single hidden object section.- TheXboxHub

Togges is one of the most original and stupendously generous games you will find, this year or any year. It’s Super Mario Galaxy on a roomba, with some of Nokia’s Snake thrown in for good measure. Now, if that’s not enough to tease you in, nothing ever will.- TheXboxHub

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows on Xbox One delivers a flurry of hard-hitting punches, but misses with almost as many as it lands. The story-based goings on are in keeping with the anime, many recognisable characters feature and you just have to love the nonchalant Saitama. Even the fighting is a lot of fun thanks to the quirky events, ace killer moves and the arrivals, with a frantic feel to proceedings. However your hero is lacking in character, customisation options and just how powerless they feel at times.- TheXboxHub

Horse Club Adventures has its eyes on a younger audience, and our little ones loved it. They will stomach its repetition and focus on making friends with a bunch of affable ladies, all while enjoying some intuitive horse riding. The Magister may not be as simple and focused as a game of Cluedo, but it still shares a lot of its joys. If you love the feeling of narrowing in on a suspect, or pulling back a mask in a Scooby Doo fashion, then The Magister might work for you. BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites is a game that is a lot of fun to play; it’s fast, bloody and violent, and in terms of combat at least is right up there. The platforming is where things take a turn for the worse though, and the sections where you are trying to keep her alive via pixel perfect jumps are extremely frustrating.- TheXboxHub

Crysis 2 Remastered on Xbox can have a jarring introduction for those coming to it straight from the original. The open-world sandbox is gone, replaced by a much more story-driven game. Sadly, Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly can’t match up to its predecessor. It lacks the emotional impact of the first game that meant it stuck with you long after completion. Hellpoint on Xbox One has a lot of good points; certainly enough to recommend it. It’s dark, creepy and brutal - all the things you want from a Souls-type game. On the other hand, a seeming lack of polish does spoil the party somewhat, with camera issues killing me more often than the creatures, and a strange kind of weightlessness to the attacks present.- TheXboxHub

I really love The Occupation and what the team behind it have managed to create. The great story, in an amazing universe, has been brilliantly written and performed. The downside though is that the actual gameplay – you know, the important bit – isn’t quite right, even after the patches have dropped. We recommend Airoheart with some fierce caveats. It is Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past fan fiction, but it’s really good fan fiction, created by someone who doesn’t just love the series, but understands what makes it work. The story is a good one, the twists and turns are surprising, and the change between the past and present is very effective in its concept. The gameplay is very old-school though, and the tracking back is irritating at times, while a chase section in the latter moments is not really needed. Overall though, taking into account the price and the 4 to 5-hour running time, it delivers a decent piece of old-style adventure gaming.- TheXboxHub

Understand what Death and Taxes is trying to do, and it’s a magnitude more fun. This is a toy where you can save or kill whomever you choose, and the mischievous glee comes from what happens next. Ignore all the chatter about rules: they’re there to be ignored, and abiding by them leads down unsatisfying paths. But once you’ve got all that, fun is as inevitable as, well, Death and Taxes.- TheXboxHub

Consider the low asking price but high level count and Zumania pretty much sells itself. Anyone who found themselves addicted to the Xbox 360 classic years back will lap this one up. And even if you haven't previously experienced the Zuma magic, Zumania is still well worth lining up for a shot.- TheXboxHub

The Inquisitor is an entertaining game; you don't get many single-player experiences like this anymore. It's ambitious and unique too, but ultimately it is just too rough around the edges to hit the highest heights.- TheXboxHub

I wasn’t expecting much with Monster Energy Supercross 3 on the Xbox One but came out the other end pleasantly surprised. Other sports simulations suffer from annual releases, rushed out on smaller budgets and littered with bugs but this is a very competent game.- TheXboxHub

Twin-stick shooters and roguelike hybrids aren’t new, and they have been done better elsewhere. But that’s not to say you should ignore Doomed to Hell. It may be simple and concise, but it’s a syringe of adrenaline to the heart, and it managed to perk us up for an evening.- TheXboxHub

SwapQuest is priced low enough to be worthy of a cheerful experience that can be enjoyed by all ages, especially given the option for family members and friends to adventure in two player local co-op. But only purchase it if you’re happy with a simple puzzler that lacks on the RPG front.- TheXboxHub

Marble Duel on Xbox possesses a clever idea by merging the thrill of matching marbles with the tactical elements brought about by turn-based conflicts. With a huge amount of levels to venture through and a variety of colourful spheres providing different benefits, it should be match-3 heaven. Unfortunately, the nature of proceedings means the further you advance, the more everything seems stacked against you.- TheXboxHub

For some, Family Man will feel like a delicious challenge. For us, it made for a dark, relentless struggle that impressed with its scale, but was a few postcodes away from fun. Often, that was because bugs and glitches were waiting for us with baseball bats.- TheXboxHub

If you enjoyed Dadish, go and fill your boots with Dadish 2. It's a worthy way to follow-on, letting you take in another tale of a radish dad and his troublesome kids.- TheXboxHub

Overall and I enjoyed X-Morph: Defense much more than I thought I would. The gameplay is easy to control and all the mechanics work very well indeed. There’s a lot to do in the campaign and the co-op mode adds extra relish to an already meaty package. I have to admit to feeling a bit of boredom quite quickly though, but as I said Tower Defense fanatics should ignore my ignorance and add another half star to this review. It feels very retro in both its looks and sounds, but that’s not a bad thing.- TheXboxHub

Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition on Xbox Series X is a game that will appease its fanbase massively. With this new updated version everything feels great to play and is extremely good to look at. There is a whole load of content all packaged together, and even though a single adventurer may find repetition coming to the fore, those who can find like-minded fans to join them will discover this to be a blast.- TheXboxHub

Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition on Xbox One suffers from a case of under-delivering on the Platinum offering, which on its own just isn’t worth bothering with. The base game is pretty good though, providing a ton of depth for the experienced farmer to enjoy and just enough for those gamers new to the series to get a handle on.- TheXboxHub

Fallout Shelter is a game that shows its mobile roots quite strongly. The graphics, although simple, are in the signature Fallout style that oozes charm and get the job done effectively. The sight of two dwellers, both in nightwear to maximise their Charisma, doing the dance of love and then running off to the bedroom is enough to bring a smile to most peoples faces.- TheXboxHub
