The Inquisitor is an entertaining game; you don't get many single-player experiences like this anymore. It's ambitious and unique too, but ultimately it is just too rough around the edges to hit the highest heights.

The Inquisitor is a dark and grim adventure title. Moreover, it seamlessly blends 2 unique realms. As such, it is an enjoyable investigatory game that combines puzzles, exploration, and combat. Yet, the latter of those elements is its Achilles Heel.

A strong start to a potential franchise. Excellent environment art, compelling world and story, The Inquisitor just needs a little more polish in other areas.

The Inquisitor has a lot of interesting things going for it, but its shoddy execution makes it hard to recommend.
