SwapQuest is priced low enough to be worthy of a cheerful experience that can be enjoyed by all ages, especially given the option for family members and friends to adventure in two player local co-op. But only purchase it if you’re happy with a simple puzzler that lacks on the RPG front.

Swap Quest is a cutesy, tile swapping RPG and puzzle hybrid with clear mobile roots. It doesn't feel robust enough on console and is better played on mobile.

You have to swap tiles to create a path to move towards the goal while also going towards enemies to fight and chests to open, but by the time you are stuck looking for the one tile you need to progress you end up getting close to getting hit and losing health. There are occassions where you will go towards an enemy to fight him but yet you won't even fight him even if he's sitting right next to you. The overall gameplay clearly wasn't thought out too well and it quickly becomes a mess. Avoid at all costs. Expand
