Capcom has chosen to make this sequel a cooperative action game, and the result is undoubtedly solid. Playing the main campaign with three friends can give a lot of satisfaction and the boss fights are simply awesome. Unfortunately playing solo you will find a lacking friend AI. Good graphics and a competitive multiplayer mode complete the nice offer of Lost Planet 2.

Dave the Diver is one of the most interesting games of this year. From such a simple concept – bring some fish to your restaurant! – the game keeps building on its gameplay and deepening the experience, captivating the player in an enjoyable and magnetic loop that you will find hard to jump off from.

Nintendo, Intelligent Systems and WayForward hit the mark (almost) across the board: Advance Wars Re-Boot Camp is a product with attention to every detail, an all-round remake that preserves all the good that was in the original products and makes them also attractive to the new generations thanks to a series of precautions and improvements to the user experience. Whether you are looking for a strategic hit and run that introduces you to the genre or one that is only apparently soft but capable of making you sweat a lot, here you will find lots of content and gameplay as punctual as a Swiss watch, which makes the balance and the plurality of approaches some of its cornerstones. We weren't particularly impressed by the new art direction and we would have liked to have access to the two episodes of the series released on Nintendo DS as well, but these are small details in a picture that has left us very satisfied. Now, to what saint do we have to devote ourselves to have a remake of F-Zero?

Just like with the recent Resident Evil remakes, Capcom nails it once again, and Sir Arthur gets the treatment he deserves after 35 years of service. This is as difficult as the player wants it to be, and so newcomers are welcome, and should not miss this gem of an action platformer.

Borderlands has been a great game. First of all we have to reward the willingness of developers to propose something different, that we dare to define original. The RPG-FPS hybrid gameplay works perfectly and playing the co-op mode online, the title takes off, ensuring many hours of fun. Combine this with its excellent graphics, in its way kind of unique too, and you'll understand the value of a fresh product, suitable for all those who love to spend their time online.

The latest episode in the saga does not betray the expectations of fans. An episode that knows how to fascinate and entertain thanks to the many expedients that succeed in avoiding the risk of being repetitive. The software house haven't risked in producing the title, getting back to a narrative structure. The great graphics and gameplay, make this a must have for fans.

Tom Clancy's Endwar is an innovative RTS, suitable both for the genre-fan and the newbie. The gameplay is slightly more action than usual, and the closer look to the battlefield could disappoint the strategy purists, but vocal commands and great visuals make this game a must-try.

EA Sports FC 26 doesn’t radically change the formula it has stuck to for years, but it refines it, smoothing out the rough edges and making good use of the wealth of feedback received in recent times. This is a more self-aware and diplomatic entry, clearly aiming to please everyone, striving to be a safe space both for online competition enthusiasts and for lone wolves who love long career modes. Once again, it offers a polished playground, ready to entertain players throughout the entire football season with its most proven and beloved features.

Belgian developers have managed to pull out of the hat an excellent role-playing game. Less extreme than Risen and less classic than Dragon Age, Divinity II - Ego Draconis is able to give an interpretation not revolutionary, but definitely cool to the genre, providing many hours of fun to fans and proposing an adventure accessible to novices. The excellent soundtrack added to the peculiar characterization of the various characters, plunges you into the world of Rivellon making very difficult to go back to the real.
