This isn't a game suitable for all palates: due to its difficulty and peculiarity, the title is highly recommended to all the fans of Metroidvania-like games, and in general to those who are looking for a challenge and want to do keep their hands well trained while waiting for Dark Souls 2.

It's still a masterful piece, but this DLC never truly hits the spot like the main game's story did. If you crave some more The Last of Us, and want to know Ellie even better though, you won't be disappointed.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers is a good survival horror based on classic games like Clock Tower, Rule of Rose and Hunting Ground. It tells a compelling story that is a bridge between the incipit and the next two chapters of the upcoming trilogy.

It's completely different from what the teaser trailers suggested, the narrative is missing, the atmosphere is quite basic, characters are just silly. Yet, Dead Island is a funny action/adventure with small RPG influence, delivering fast paced and visceral combat, best served with friends. Consider it if you're looking for a not-so-compelling, light co-op fun.

PS5 - appearances—for those who seek in video games not just entertainment, but a chance to journey through, understand, and, in a way, forge themselves. Imperfect and a bit rough around the edges at first glance, yet incredibly solid and deep, MercurySteam’s latest project is further proof that you don’t need a massive budget to create something truly special.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 is a wonderful sequel that knows how to improve the level design. Too bad it is shorter than the previous game.

UFC 2009 Undisputed is a great and at the same time really difficult game. Different from the other titles of the genre, you won't find energy bars or any other interface, making this game a hardcore simulation. Suggested for anyone who doesn't get scared by a strong experience, as this game is not intended for the faint of heart.

Full of content and familiar elements, it shows some improvements from the previous iteration, but could have done better in some choices.

It leaves some unresolved plot points, but it’s still a hard hitting and brutal adventure, that maintains the usual quality level we’ve come to expect from Telltale products.

Ruthless and emotionally destabilizing, This War of Mine is the merciless portrait of what evil man is capable of causing. The conflict saw through the eyes of civilians is terrible at least as that experienced by soldiers on the fields of war.

The Director’s Cut is not only the return of one of the greatest exponents of "point and click adventure” but even is better than the original by a series of new puzzles, new phases of gameplay and new scenes. The music is very beautiful and sound effects play their work too, recreating a charming atmosphere. The only flaw is the little screen of the Nintendo DS that doesn’t allow us to appreciate all the graphic details.

The adventures on the ski slopes of Mario and Sonic convinced more than those on athletic tracks of Beijing. The single player mode, unlike many other party games, manages to keep up the interest of those who don't have the opportunity to see their house invaded by friends. It has some defects as an IA not particularly brilliant, and some specialties too similar to others, but overall we are satisfied with the Winter Olympics.

Tales of Berseria faces the struggle of being developed for both the old and the new generation of Sony platforms, and therefore is forced to stick to the beaten path. It still is a better game than Zestiria, overall, mostly thanks to its dark and gritty storyline and believable cast of protagonists. Let's just hope that the future of the Tales series will bring something new to the table.

Tropico 3 is a good game even though similar to the first episode (played eight years ago). There are some improvements, but is very similar than the first episode. Despite it, Tropico 3 is an exciting game that requires you a good dedication.

More a continuation of the events of the first game than a proper sequel, Trails of Cold Steel II is "more of the same" done right, as the basic gameplay of the prequel didn't need changes. While a no brainer for veterans, this second chapter is not recommended for newcomers, who should pick up the first title to have an understanding of the world and characters.

F1 Manger 2024 has finally managed to include the much-loved custom career. This raises the bar of the competition and presents us with a game with solid foundations, but also capable of renewing itself. A fun, competitive title that tests us in many different situations. Overall, therefore, a very respectable manager this year too.
