Yakuza 3 + Dark Ties is much more than a mere commercial venture, as it might seem to the less attentive: it is a bold remake that refreshes a solid but flawed title and resolves nearly all of its issues. While some longtime fans might grumble over the recasting of a couple of characters and a few cuts here and there in the interactions, the vast majority of players will inevitably appreciate the changes in pacing.

Still the best soccer game for the Wii public. Sometimes even more funny than its HD version, it really takes the best out of motion control.

Bug Fables is much more than a loving tribute to the first two episodes of the Paper Mario franchise: it is a beautifully crafted rpg adventure that any Switch owner should not miss.

This is one of the best visual novel ever. It's a pity that this new version adds nothing more than anime style animated scenes and little extras, but, even in the way it is, we cannot recommend this story enough.

Despite a stiff combat system that sometimes feels imprecise, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden presents a compelling story about love, human misery and crucial social themes.

Dirt 5 is a real showcase of what the next-generation can do. It's also the best chapter of the series, with a brand new campaign and a lot of content.

Sir Miles Jacobson and his team did it again: Football Manager 2020 is one of the best episodes in recent years, thanks to some polishing and the inclusion of long-term planning, which adds replayability and depth to an already great sim.

Forget the Dreamcast-era graphics and some clumsy mechanics (if you can) and lose yourself in this sick and perverse thriller. You will never forget it.

Although the mods are not supported as in the PC scene, the Switch version of Slay the Spire is pure bliss, a dangerously addictive roguelike card game like you've never seen before on Nintendo's console.

The story is told as if it were a small interactive fairy tale and the gameplay itself, with puzzles and fights, proves to be convincing, despite being characterized by a practically total absence of challenge from start to finish. Considering that Bayonetta is known to be a challenging saga, this is an aspect that could inevitably disappoint historical fans, but if they are willing to relax and enjoy an adventure unlike any other, here they will discover a narrative capable of delving even into the main plot. of the trilogy – and an adorably successful experiment.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is the new starting point for the series. Apart from some graphical glitches and other minor stuff, Treyarch has created a game listening the feedback of its own community with three words in mind: esport, cooperative and young.

Mafia 2 is a great experience, thanks to a believable cast of characters and a wonderful setting. Sadly, the lack of longevity and some technical flaws somehow spoil the global experience, especially if compared with other recent free roaming experiences.

Undisputed is a truly excellent and comprehensive title, although it can still improve. We have a boxing game that strives for realism in every punch and movement. Defensive techniques, punches, footwork: everything aims to be perfect. The sweat on the back, the blood from the nose, the swollen eyes, every detail is really there. The game offers a truly well-crafted, beautiful, and precise realism. It's a shame that some content is missing, like the ability to actually perform training sessions, which would have added something extra to the game. However, we expect great things for the future of the series.
