GRIS is a wonderful and essential game about loss and pain that tells a cryptic story about a girl in search of herself. It is another success for Devolver Digital.

Wargroove doesn't reinvent the wheel, clearly taking inspiration form the Advance Wars franchise. Still, since the Nintendo IP is absent from the scene since far too long, Chucklefish's last effort find its place in the Switch library.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is a strong sequel that, while sacrificing part of its soul in the pursuit of becoming more mainstream, stands out as one of the most complete, long-lasting, and satisfying mecha experiences on Nintendo Switch 2. Despite a slight, unavoidable repetitiveness and a few technical hiccups on Switch 2, Marvelous has delivered a solid hit that successfully broadens its answer to Armored Core for a wider audience.

Closer to a novel than to gaming itself, it's suited more to an eastern oriented public. Narration is superb, characters simply unforgettable. On the other hand, if you don't like text heavy experiences, this is not the game for you.

Don’t Nod delivers another captivating tale with Lost Records: Bloom & Rage—a story rich in unspoken emotion and subtle storytelling, carried by compelling characters and a magnetic premise, even if the ending doesn't quite live up to the rest.

Nothing new, but what's here it's top notch, from the Active Time Battle System to the gloomy story of Cecil. Don't miss it if you're a JRPG fanatic.

It's impossible not to get caught in Dredge's clutches: supernatural horror, dry and fascinating narrative and an intoxicating gameplay loop make Black Salt Games' first effort an indie to remember.

There isn't much innovation here, yet the controls have been utterly fixed, the new Havoc phisics do their job and WWE Universe is a funny diversion. It's a shame that some mechanics aren't yet perfect, even after so many years of developing.

It's never easy to mix arcade and simulation in a good sport game. The Bigs 2 makes it and is another high level-game from 2K Sports. Singleplayer is funny with the Become a Legend and in multiplayer the game reaches the maximum of his quality. If you like baseball and are not a maniac for the simulations, this is a must buy.

With an old style gameplay, unique visuals and many other peculiarities, MadWorld is indeed the mature Wii game that many were waiting for. Potential buyers should be warned though, this is not just a black-and-white action game, for its mechanics could make it frustrating for those not used to an old style scoring system. Add this to a desolating length, and what you get is a controversial product, split between its visionary genius and very basic gameplay issues. Some will love it, others will hate it; it will be remembered, but it’s not the absolute masterpiece many were waiting for.

Neva is Nomada studio's new gem that chronicles the stages of life as the world decays around you. It does not reach the heights of drama of GRIS, but it surpasses it in complexity of game systems, setting itself as a step forward for the Spanish studio, which has found its way and knows how to stamp its trademark.

Wasteland 3 doesn't change its predecessor's successful formula but, outside of certain design limitations, it perfects and modernizes it. It's easily the best game in the franchise, in terms of pure technique, and one that clearly gives you an idea of what inXile is able to achieve.
