Though it does not offer anything new if compared to previous entries in the saga or either recent JRPG from Atlus, Shin Megami Tensei IV is a rock solid role playing, with a lot of demons to catch and fuse and a good level of challenge throughout.

It’s the best football managing game around, no contest. Every year it gets better too, with refined mechanics, more complexity and steps in the right direction. Some historical flaws are still there, unfortunately, like unrealistic values for some players, or boring press conferences. Iron out the kinks and it will become perfect.

Trackmania Wii is an exciting arcade racing game for Nintendo Wii. The gameplay is very funny but slightly hard for a less experienced player. In the end it's a must-have title for arcade racing fans.

Dynasty Warriors Origins embodies everything fans of the musou genre have always dreamed of for their favorite series. This installment raises the bar in terms of quality and, in many ways, sets a new standard for the genre, appealing not only to longtime fans but also to newcomers, while laying a solid foundation for the future of the entire franchise. From its storytelling to the revamped combat mechanics, nearly every piece falls perfectly into place. Despite a few hiccups and some rough edges that still need polishing, it’s impossible not to appreciate the fantastic work done by the team at Omega Force.

Steins;Gate 0 has just one fault, which is that you need to play the first game in the series to fully appreciate the story, the character progression, the new twist on some of the protagonists. Apart from this, we're talking about one of the best script in recent memory, and a high quality visual novel for both Vita and Ps4 owners.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is the collection of the collections, perfect for every person who wants to discover the saga with the new 60fps gameplay. There are some problems in the porting, but not so many and not so important.

Frostpunk 2 puts its gameplay at the service of storytelling and, through relatively simple game mechanics, manages to make the player experience strong emotions and a constant moral dilemma. From a gameplay perspective, it is a fairly straightforward city builder, but the political and social dynamics are where the essence of the game created by 11 Bit Studios truly lies. Frostpunk 2 dismantles any notion of social utopia and shows how humans are inherently irrational beings, ready to self-destruct. The limitations imposed on the player’s decision-making power work perfectly within this framework, forcing the player to make difficult and uncomfortable decisions, offering a much more satisfying and refined level of strategy compared to traditional management games.

It's impossible not to recommend Bioshock The Collection to anyone who missed anything about this series, a whole game or even only one of the downloadable contents: yes, the three games are this good, and the work made on this remastered version is good, albeit not perfect. When all is said and done, we're talking about three of the better games of the last console generation.

The Persistence takes every element from a traditional roguelike and brings them to the next level in Virtual Reality. This sci-fi explorative adventure is a polished experience, from the graphics quality to the exceptional sound design. The gameplay offers procedurally-generated levels and a vast array of power-ups and weapons, all available for you to customize your character in the best way. The Persistence is a must have if you are looking for a fresh new VR horror adventure on PS4.

We didn't expect a game so close to the original for PC. Blitz is well made, surprisingly able to launch us into battle in a much faster way and able to deliver the same emotions of the main series.

Destiny 2 is a great game, better than the first one because of its many more end-game activities, all well-structured and organized. The story is amazing, made of very beautiful cut-scenes and characters written along the lines of most contemporary movies. Unfortunately the difficulty is low and the progression of the Guardian could be very quick and easy. Despite this, the game is great to play and share with friends: waiting on the raids and the trials of the nine, we could easily say that Destiny 2 will be loved by fans and newbies.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is an amazing remake that gives new life to a 26 year old game, with a brilliant art style and a perfect progression tied to the finding and the use of accessories. Octopath Traveler 0 is, in every respect, a solid entry in the franchise, even if not the best of the three, and it introduces a series of good ideas that we may well see again in the next, inevitable instalments: from the inclusion of “cozy” mechanics, with the construction of a village, to the addition of a second line during battles, which significantly broadens the player’s range of strategic options.

Fire Emblem Engage is a great celebration of a more than 30 years old franchise, and also one of the best looking Switch games of the last months. We dare to say it's not one of the best episodes in the franchise, but it is, nonetheless, a great SRPG if you have at least fifty hours to invest in it.
