The latest game in the long running WWE series finally gave wrestling fans the titanic amount of content they wanted, and even changed some mechanics in a smart way, perfecting the whole combat system. The more realistic pacing, though, is still a bit too slow, and some kid-friendly choices due to the PG era are really out of place, especially when you consider that the Showcase gravitates around Stone Cold Steve Austin. Also, the Divas and their “revolution” have been almost ignored.

Horses is the kind of experience that doesn’t look for compromises and has no interest in pleasing everyone. Santa Ragione plays with incendiary material and does so with a confidence that’s almost disarming. It’s a “small” title, one that inevitably divides, because it demands from the viewer the willingness to look exactly where we usually turn away. And that’s precisely where its value lies: in its ability to dig, provoke, unsettle and, above all, leave a mark.

Are you one of those still waiting for a new version of Killer Instinct after 20 years? Xbox One will give you the opportunity to play a great Killer Instinct edition: fast, furious, and full of brutal combos like you hoped it to be. Anyway, the free to play formula will ask you for too much money if you consider buying any single “Round” Microsoft releases, and if you focus on details. Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is a truly solid and well-crafted work, a significant representative of a genre that has become overly saturated. Mandragora doesn’t quite stand out for originality or for that sense of uniqueness one might expect from a title of this kind.
