It’s really a beautiful thing that Valiant Hearts: Coming Home exists today. It’s a blessing because is both the sequel-conclusion to one of the most beloved and didactically valuable games ever produced by Ubisoft, and the opening ram for a different way to publish games. However, this must not blind from evident flaws like low duration, low difficulty and some plot issues, such as the excessive dependence to its prequel.

Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS is not just a shrunken-down version of its Wii U counterpart, but a title that puts more emphasis on the single player and on local sharing of contents. Mafia: Terra Madre stands out as a mature and necessary work of interactive storytelling—one that goes beyond entertainment to become a powerful tool for critical reflection. It's an experience that unsettles, engages, and, above all, provokes thought: because to understand the mafia is to confront the deep-rooted forces that sustain it—and this game does so with rare courage and clarity.

Mini Ninjas is an action-adventure-rpg with simple gameplay mechanics but with a lot of objects, spells and scrolls to be found. The final product is sometimes funny, but never compelling. Despite the new (and better) A.I., a good level design and customization possibilities, Army of Two: The 40th Day falls short on some of its expectations. The moral system isn't well implemented, controls feel often clumsy and graphics are not up to the standard. It's still a game to consider if you like action games and cooperative, but not a must have. It's a shame, especially considering the fact that some more care for details could've made it a very good game.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for Switch 2 leaves a dual, almost suspended feeling. On one hand, there is the tangible pleasure of rediscovering a game that maintains a rare narrative solidity and an engaging quality. On the other hand, however, it is impossible to ignore how time has affected the formula, making certain moments more predictable, some mechanics more rigid, and some design choices less surprising than they were a decade ago.
