Rebel Galaxy Outlaw represents a true spiritual successor to Freelancer and similar games. If you are a fan of spaceship shooters and simulators this game is a must-have. Even with a few minor faults, it is worth the admission ticket.

This remaster hits a few major points when it comes to refreshing an old game. But blurry, upscaled backgrounds and a missed opportunity to go from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio, leave much to desire here. Yet, it is still as great game as it ever was. It's just easier to see it, this time around.

Deep Sky Derelicts poses as a true original dark sci-fi roguelike experience, successfully distancing itself from Darkest Dungeon clone title it received. With its definitive edition, even with lack of compelling narrative, it is a rich experience with a huge depth of combat, exploration and customization that is to be expected from such experience.

BROK the InvestiGator is a definite surprise in the point-and-click genre. On top of its surprisingly good story, world design and accessibility options, the addition of beat ‘em up mechanics really takes the cake in the best way possible. A great spin on the classic point-and-click gameplay.

Using the full potential of VR technology, Esper 2 immerses you into its fantasy worlds, offering plethora of intriguing and varied puzzles set in 3D space. If only it lasted longer, it would be our favorite VR game so far.

Yet another jewel in Wadjet Eye Studio’s collection. Their games became synonymous with quality in point and click genre and Technobabylon is no exception.

An investment in nearly endless amounts of fun, Drawful 2 is a definitive party game for up to 8 players that's so easy to grasp, so everyone can play. Its low price is a perfect reason not to miss this little gem.

Detroit Become Human is finally released on PC and it was worth the wait. The story is good enough, the consequences of your choices really affect the narrative and the audio-visual design is really spot on. That being said, running it on PC with hardware even above the recommended specs can sometimes be a little sloppy, with occasional frame drops and stuttering.

New character Big Khan is refreshing, and a lot of new enemies and challenges make this a proper full-blooded expansion that any fan of the base game should have.

A great 3DS JRPG title gets a crispy clear remaster. Higher Definition simply asks for appreciation, as The Alliance Alive brilliantly implements its cute style into the game world. Great mechanics, music, and characters, make this a classic you should at least try now when it's available on more than one platform.

The best description is this is basically Armored Core X Gundam. It has great mech and character customizations, fast and chaotic combat and a good enough story. If you have a Switch and are a mech fan then this game is a must buy.

Fight'n Rage is a truly fun and nostalgic beat ’em up experience that will wake those old days in players pretty easy. Even though it lacks some features, like online multiplayer, it is sure to provide more than a few hours of fun in its local co-op and versus modes, with its wide range of game modes.

The Liar Princess and the Blind prince is beyond charming. A game of average gameplay but superb art style and story, ultimately delivers an extraordinary, fairytale-ish experience that is hard to forget, and even harder not to love.

Alt Sift did it, we waited and it happened! They fused together FTL and Into The Breach into this awesome mix, that you will love to dance to, repeatedly!

Metro Exodus opens up a world held closed by its predecessors. This time, it's up to our well known hero Artyom to explore the unexplored regions of Mother Russia, in all of its open world glory. So sit back and enjoy the unique experience, visual wonders and darkest secrets of the beloved Metro universe.

Wreckfest brings a lot of fun to the table and is also a great vent for piled-up aggression from bad day at school or work. If you liked games like Destruction Derby and Flatout, you will love this. Be warned, there are still some bugs in the game, but it looks like the team is actively working on fixing them.

King of Cards delivers a great epilogue for an even greater Shovel Knight saga. It is cleverly designed, has that old school vibe we all love, and a really cool move set for our new hero. Joustus, the card game is a great addition, but since it is pretty much a mandatory element, it may throw the entire tempo of the game down to the danger zone.

Rematch is an ode to football. It is a fun, adrenaline-filled experience that possesses a steep learning curve, but also provides a huge payoff to anyone who dives into its deep, yet simple systems. It suffers from a lack of content and not-so-small net code issues and bugs, but it is a refreshing take on the sport that many fans will appreciate and enjoy.

Armello is so gorgeous, it kept reminding us that there is no an actual physical board game like this even though it really deserves to be. The game successfully mixes several elements from other genres, telling story and making our imagination run wild.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ on the Nintendo Switch is the ultimate way to experience Disgaea 4. Able to go portable and grind anytime, anywhere, but on the big and pretty Switch screen, really is a treat for any Disgaea fan out there. And it could be for you if you are not one of those people of good taste and style.

When you skip plethora of AAA games to spend your free time playing a small indie title, you know how good the experience is. Space Run Galaxy is just that - a simple, yet slick game, perfect little "time waster".

Blacktail is a true hidden gem that is just a perfect window into an Alice in Wonderland-like world full of Slavic myths and masterfully written characters with a lot of lore and care written into them. The combat doesn’t revolutionize the genre, but it poses a beautiful atmospheric experience that many people will enjoy.

Concrete Genie is a stylized marvellous platform that will channel your inner artist. Too bad VR support is not more integrated into the core gameplay.

Princess Peach: Showtime! is a fun-packed title for the youngest of gamers and for those that want to join the ride. Colourful and refreshing, full of exciting mechanics, yet at times simply yearning for upgraded Nintendo hardware to perform better on. If you know what to expect, you will surely have a great time. Just try not to let a few imperfections ruin the experience.

Dead Island 2 is a great sequel. This provides an easy choice when looking for reasons to play it. If you know what to expect, you will find plenty and more. Don’t ask for too much, and you will surely have a blast. A genuinely bloody blast indeed.

Jamboree tones down the overall quality of its minigames but shifts up the gear when it comes to charm. Maps and the overall spirit of the world now score most of the points, with a few enjoyable new mechanics and strategies. If in doubt, you can be sure that this is one of the better titles the entire franchise has to offer.

Burning Shores is just more of the original game, yet prettier, with more breathtaking views. While it’s an essential addition to the franchise, it will hardly attract any new fans.

If you love climbing, reading, mystery and slow-paced games, this one is a pick like no other! If you can’t stand any of these elements, we’d suggest giving this game a try either way. There is just something captivating in Jusant that you can’t easily find on the market these days.

Live A Live not only brings a decades-old Japan exclusive to the west, but it also vastly improves it in the audio and visual sense. Flaws of the original are still present, but as a refreshed gem from the past, Live A Live is something every fan of the genre should give a chance to.

When the greatest flaw of a game is the amount of dedication it requires from the player, you know you are diving into something special. Not every player is going to enjoy the uninviting limitations of the genre, but those that do manage to stay around are in for a treat. One of the most charming anime-styled games of this type and has a story worth seeing through.

In Dragonball-esque fashion, CyberConnect2 and Arc System Works performed a fusion and managed to turn the tides! The majestic production values of Ufotable have been impressively mirrored, as this game delivers a multitude of breathtaking animations and of course – loads of flamboyancy! A solid battle system and plenty of content make this game a significant upgrade to the first. This one is for the fans.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a visually stunning Soulslike that dazzles with its Unreal Engine 5 environments and ambitious new systems, but it often stumbles under the weight of its own mechanics. The Madness disease adds a unique twist to combat, though its mandatory nature quickly turns frustrating, especially in boss fights. Slow animations, unbalanced encounters, and bland NPCs hold the experience back, yet for dedicated fans seeking an uncompromising old-school challenge wrapped in modern visuals, Wuchang delivers a substantial, value-priced adventure.

The remastered version of Zero Dawn makes the game as impressive as the original was back in 2017, if not more. Yet the entire package feels more like a luxury than a necessity. If you are a hardcore fan or someone new to the series, this is a true gem. But it undoubtedly offers very little if you’ve already experienced its world a few years ago.

Phoenix Springs is not for everyone, but it is one of the most thought-provoking and beautiful experiences I’ve had in gaming recently. It is adorned with gorgeous art and an intriguing, albeit a bit confusing story, and a great protagonist who will break the fourth wall and immerse you in this dark and gritty neo-noir world.

Miles Morales has finally gotten its PC port, and it is a similar experience to the original Spider-Man, but packaged into a much better and denser story experience with slight improvements to movement and additional combat moves that pose it to be the best Spidey on PC to date.

Monstrum Nox builds greatly on the systems of its predecessor, making for a really fun title and a great promise to the tenth instalment. The PlayStation 5 version does not offer enough reasons for you to get it if you have already played the original. Still, its slightly refreshed visuals are surely welcome, especially since the only thing Ys games generally lack is better graphics.

A deeper, more meaningful story makes this game the most emotional in the series. Numerous systems and mechanics, living and breathing biomes and loads of content sure are welcome, but may prove to be too overwhelming for a casual player. It feels like an overclock of the franchise, while it would benefit more from a true upgrade.

Metroid Prime 4 delivers polished combat and stunning visuals, but its linear open structure, diluted atmosphere and lack of bold innovation will probably disappoint long-time fans after a long wait.

Maybe not as impressive as the original was 15 years ago, but Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion remasters almost everything possible to remaster without entering the area of remakes. Some elements still smell of an old design made for a portable console, but it does not change the fact that this is the definitive way to experience Crisis Core, one of the best PSP games of all time.

An RTS classic, now with a stunning new look, numerous quality-of-life improvements, and minor gameplay tweaks. If you enjoyed the original, this one is a no-brainer.

If you are allergic to cats, hate mystery, exploration and a good atmosphere in video games, don’t play Stray. Otherwise, you’ve probably already beaten it. It’s a rare occasion to get a title such as this. And if it looks like something you might enjoy, that’s likely because you most surely would.

Otherwar is a hidden gem for any fan of Tower Defense or Bullet Hell games. Its unique blend of genres makes it stand out from other games on the market. Its retro graphics are well designed, the gameplay is smooth, and the soundtrack is great. On top of that, it has a lot of replayability, which is always a plus.

Another fantastic adventure from Frictional, with a rich narrative and deep world lore, and a lot of great locations to explore and unearth their mysteries. But it is not that scary, and Frictional played too safe in terms of gameplay, without much innovation.

The Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D remakes shine with retro simplicity and modern visuals. Added mechanics and accessibility options make the games approachable, though grind and slow-paced storytelling can drag. Still, the package delivers a nostalgic and enjoyable adventure for both new and longtime fans.

Sparking! Zero is not only a superb return to a phenomenal franchise, but it also looks spectacular. Sadly, it is neither easy nor satisfying to learn how it’s meant to be played, but for a casual player who has a couple of friends he wants to clash beams with, it’s one of the most beautiful games the franchise ever blessed us with.

Hearts of Iron IV proves why it’s the king of grand strategy games once more. With a plethora of improvements, this game is a must-have for every grand strategy and history buff.

It might have its elements reduced to the core, but the game manages to keep it simple while offering frenetic action, an intriguing story and colorful cast that will keep you playing until you see the credits roll.

This is an excellent return to form — one that blends fresh ideas with the spirit of the original in a way fans won’t want to miss.

Screamer comes as a genuinely refreshing surprise for the genre. Even if it's not as fresh as its predecessor, Garden Warfare 2 still guarantees dozens of hours of stress-free, pure multiplayer fun.

WRC 8 is a great rally game, especially for the players that don`t want serious simulation, but something pretty close to that. As the fourth game from this studio, it appears Dirt Rally has a tough competition.

Apex Legends Mobile is one of the best mobile ports out there, but if we’re comparing it to the original, it can still bring something new to the table. The controls can be a bit challenging at the start, but the game itself looks really beautiful and runs smoothly. To top it all off, the players even get some new content and features, like exclusive legends, game modes, and more.

The Witness is a unique, complex and brilliantly designed puzzle that won't resonate with every player. It offers over thirty hours of highly cerebral gameplay that will delight every fan of "intelligent" games, yet is open enough to let more casual players explore its landscapes.

With FINAL FANTASY TACTICS – The Ivalice Chronicles, Square Enix once again proves that a great remaster can both modernize and honor an original’s legacy. It’s a careful balance of fresh updates and deep respect for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The addition of full voice acting alone makes The Ivalice Chronicles worth revisiting — even for those who’ve already experienced every previous entry.

Vambrace Cold Soul is another interesting experiment with genre mixing, in a Darkest Dungeon like setting but frozen solid. Artwork and music are downright amazing and the game should be played just to experience that. Only faults are with some random annoying bugs, no keyboard control changing, and a bit of a slow pace.

The fifth episode delivers a rather high difficulty spike, which was honestly needed in the episodic Hitman. It is an improvement over the previous episodes and deserves to be played by Hitman fans and stealth fans in general.

PC community finally got a great game that offers advanced tools for level creation as in the Super Mario Maker franchise. Million to One Hero offers the ability to create your own stories and adventures and include dialogues filled with humor.

Shijima Story is a great narrative experience for any crime story and mystery fan. Even though there are some hand-holding and some limitations, it's qualitative writing. Great pacing and characters are enough to hold you through this great live-action experience that provides a feeling like you are watching an excellent TV show with its remarkable cast, great costumes and vivid story points.

Despite all the problems and controversy with micro transactions in the game (that I truly despise), underneath is an actual very good game of basketball. Improvements in the segments of gameplay, loading times, story quality are all delivered and all of that wanted me to play more and more of NBA2k19. But I’m still not paying for those extra coins.

If you would call Trek to Yomi a poor man’s Ghost of Tsushima, you’d be gravely mistaken. This game „emulates“ an old-style Japanese samurai movie to perfection. While the combat is a bit clunky and the game is not that long, the overall experience is excellent and easy to recommend to anyone interested in such a theme.

If you like the style and dynamics of Daedalic adventures, you should not miss Anna’s Quest.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake of mixed flavours. Some elements are just as they used to be, and it's great. Some elements are just as they used to be, and it's awful. Mixture of aged mechanics and amazing graphics, new voices, great old story and some added, yet bad storylines, make it not such a perfect remake. But it sure is worth your time, whether you are a fan of the original or not. The moral of the story survived in all its glory, just be sure to focus your attention to the details where Mafia used to and still shines the most.

Tropico 6 rises to be a worthy successor of Tropico 4, taking the franchise back on the track with its archipelago system and return of some of the old features from the previous games.

If you are looking for a deep and unique card game that has a bright future, look no further. Duelyst might require more persistence and concentration than other similar games, but will engross you if you grew tired of trends in modern card games.

Lost Soul Aside is a linear action RPG that began as a solo project and finally arrived after nearly a decade. It delivers much of the promised spectacle with its fast, flashy, combat-driven combat and superb soundtrack. But uneven presentation, occasional bugs and inconsistencies make it best for players who can overlook rough edges.

Maybe not as impactful as the original was 11 years ago, Alan Wake Remastered still manages to keep what gave it a cult status. Crisper graphics do take away bits and pieces of the atmosphere built on foggy, dark and smudgy visuals, but also breathe in some new life. Almost as amazing as it was when it was originally released, this remastered release is a game you should undoubtedly get if you are into the genre.

The continuing of Adam Jensen's saga delivers on visuals and style, yet again it misses a key ingredient that's expected from a high-profile RPG and that's narrative. It is a game with a complex and serious premise that does offer an amazing journey but drops the ball in the story department.

World War Z is a genuine fun and entertaining Left 4 Dead clone that does add a bit of its own stuff to a mix in the old formula. The only issue is that bugs, glitches, and poor connectivity are can be annoying, but hopefully, that will be sorted.

The detective genre of adventure games is a nice sight to see. With its mechanics, tiny hints and very well hidden assistance features, it is a great game for new and experienced players alike.

Space Adventure Cobra – The Awakening is based on the classic ’80s anime, capturing all the nostalgia and tone of that era. It even includes sequences from the original series as you play through the first 12 episodes of the show. However, while the retro charm is undeniable and the action sequences are solid, lingering gameplay issues hold it back in the long run.

You can say it's just L4D, but also so much more. It not only brings the horde style zombie shooter to its next level but also adds some nice progression options in the style of roguelike games.

Beautiful Desolation is a gorgeous game, with unique Afro-futuristic world waiting for you to explore it.

The movement is fluid, the combat exhilarating, and it’s great to see the Prince back in action. Meta progression works well, giving a steady sense of unlocking new abilities and rewarding starting bonuses. However, some difficulty spikes can feel downright punishing, breaking the flow of an otherwise thrilling experience.

Another masterfully done remake from top to bottom. Jump into an aliens skin and reek havoc upon the humans with blasters and space saucers. New and old players should definitely look to picking this remake up.

Treyarch didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Ton of content and a pretty polished CoD experience. Campaign could be better, but it’s the multiplayer that really counts, and this time around, it delivers.

Team Ninja delivers yet another game inspired by the “soulslike” genre. While some of the narrative mechanics and world design feel obsolete, the characters and especially the action are stars of the show. Fights carry the weight of most of the game’s appeal, and if you can see through many of the design downsides, you will probably have an unforgettable action experience.

After 200 years in cryostasis you will find everything in ruins, beasts and monsters (human and nonhuman alike) run amok and there are more weapons than in a Michael Bay movie. In short it is a vivid world to explore in which no one can hold a decent dialogue.

Housemarque did it again! Alienation is another great twin-stick shooter coming from this renowned studio, an exhilarating co-op experience that is both as fun as it is rewarding.

Watch Dogs Legion is the best game of the franchise. The new Legion system is so fun and engaging that you will always look for a better one or someone more unique. The missions can get a bit simple and repetitive, but the way you approach them is totally up to you and your operative’s skills. We just really hope that they will keep innovating further with this premise and that the next game will be even better.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will take you on a nostalgic ride back to your childhood days. You will get a fun, unforgettable experience, the same one back when we were playing with real Hot Wheels toy cars!

Hockey is returning to your local PC and is Super Bloody good. Fast paced, atmospheric, a tad violent, and completely retro, Super Blood Hockey will provide you with tons of fun, even if you are not a fan of the sport.

Upgrading a formula can sometimes break it, and Shadow of War comes quite close to being such a product. Yet despite all of the upgrades that pour like rain that you're trying to dodge; at its core, this is still an amazingly entertaining game. Just be prepared for some grinding, if you are not into microtransactions...

What it lacks in content Battlefront makes up with simple yet fun gameplay. This is your best Star Wars gaming fix you’ll find anywhere.

PES stays ahead of its competition... if you don't ask for too much.

Days Gone tries its best to bring something new to the table of an already overused post-apocalyptic zombie shooter genre. It gets some things right and some things not that great, but as an overall experience, it's a game packed with a great atmosphere and some darn fun exploration. If you liked games like Mad Max or you're in absolute love with the zombie survival games, try not to miss this one.

The third installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology brings a more action-packed story and a different kind of twist. If you liked the first two, you will probably enjoy this one at least as much. Just make sure to sharpen your reflexes, because this game is really unforgiving. Yet those that endure it will be left with an unforgettable horror experience.

A top-notch visual novel, both visually and novel-vise. A great and funny story, lots of choices that won't ruin the final outcome and a great visual style are just a few of many reasons any fan of the genre should pick this title up. If not a fan of visual novels, still give this one a go. You might just get to look for more...

How many spin-offs are we going to get before Persona 6? Jokes aside, Persona 5 Tactica is a great addition to the series, mostly focusing on tactical gameplay, as its name suggests. The only downside is the lack of some core Persona mechanics and features that have been a staple for the series for years.
