Unfortunately new MOO misses most of the core points of old MOO and becomes yet another OK’ish but forgettable space game. Hint: if engaging chess-like tactical battles were half of the original game, are simplistic non-tactical battles a good idea? [Sept 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

There is not anything new in the latest incarnation of Bomberman, but it does not really matter much. The multiplayer mode has plenty of variety, and we do need the grandfather also on PSP to entertain us and to keep our reflexes sharp. [Mar 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

The controls work well but otherwise the single player game is a waste of time. The multiplayer part of the game is decent however. It's very old fashioned but the Wiimote controls make it seem fresh for a while. Multiplayer games are large and mostly free of lag. Too bad there's no voice communication. Europa Universalis: Rome is fantastic simulation and historically very accurate. I'm still wondering if that in Rome it would be more rewarding to play with one dynasty as in Crusader King, now there is lot of lost potential. Anyway, Europa Universal: Rome is another masterpiece in the Europa Universalis series. [June 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Tries very hard to be edgy and gritty but much of that effort ends up feeling forced. After the destructive spectacle of the first couple of levels is over, the game sort of winds down and you're left with five hours of rather forgettable scenes and mediocre action. Fortunately, Army of Two does have a saving grace and that's the co-operative play. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good and varied multiplayer FPS. Some things, like the big attack/defend scenarios, were better on Killzone 3. [Jan 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

An outrageous orgy of twisted metal and flying debris. The races are fast and furious. Too bad the AI drivers cheat to keep the races exciting. [Aug 2006, p.28]- Pelit (Finland)

Has a fun, over-the-top attitude and a great looking world to explore. Unfortunately, the missions repeat a pattern and get boring fast. Still, good entertainment in short doses. [Oct 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

A refreshingly different game in the Sims 2 series. There’s something addictive in collecting banana leaves, vines and such and building a whole lot of improvised tools and buildings out of them. I think the game hits it’s mark quite well. I’d say Castaway is the best Sims game for ages, if not for the clumsy, Wiimote controlled interface. Unfortunately, it just takes some enjoyment out of the game. Well, you can’t get everything. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Black Desert Online had potential to be ground breaking, but suffers from a monotous PVE grind and some questionable practices regarding its cash shop. [Oct 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

One could think that Sony is trying to ride on Mario Kart's reputation, but fortunately Sackboy's own karting game stands on it's own two feet. The feel for driving is great, there are plenty of tracks and the easy to use editor makes sure that there's legions upon legions of race tracks to play in the future. [Dec 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Medal of Honor: Airborne brings some very nice ideas to an already dead genre. Without the embarrassing enemies and the harsh difficulty level this could be the best MoH game to date. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dawnguard. Bethesda shows how a dlc should be done. Dawnguard's 20-euro price tag is quite steep, but the amount of quality content more than makes up for it. Also, playing as a vampire lord is a welcome distraction. [Sept 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Excellent game to play with your kids and really strange friends. Minigames work better than usual because they use less motion controls and focus more on fun ideas. [Apr 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Simbin continues making money with almost 3 years old game engine, and it shows in everything. Graphics and physics are really old fashioned. Standards are set in much higher nowadays. Race On doesn't move sim fans, and looks too ugly to "race" with Forza Motorsport 3. Race On is not worth buying for full price. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Pandora's Tower is a fun action adventure in an interesting world. Too bad the level design can get a bit monotonous and the main characters lack a lot of charisma. [May 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Sims Castaway takes the previously urban-centered Stories spin-off series to a deserted island and pulls it off well. It feels fresh compared to the main series and actually feels more like a game again than just a virtual doll house. [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Double Trouble! makes clever use of DS's touch screen. Action works fine and the puzzles even better. It is 100% Viewtiful Joe all right. [April 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Legos are a infinite fountain of ideas. Now the game franchise extends it's tentacles around pirates. Jerry Bruckheimer's crown jewel is a fitting platform for Lego license and this game requires more wits than button mashing abilities. [May 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

The Missing Link is one of the best DLC releases ever. Even though it's a bit pricey, it's very much worth the price. There's a lot of stuff to do, interesting combat and best of all, the new in-house made boss fight is infinitely more fun than the useless bosses at the original Human Revolution. Has the most impressive physics engine seen on consoles thus far, but the game does not take full advantage of it. The action is straight-forward, but engaging, and the whole game has a nice cinematic feel to it. One of the best shooters for PS2. [July. 05],- Pelit (Finland)

The first thing you do when you start scribbling with Wii U, is to turn of the television. This game is best played with the uPad and unfortunately you are chained to the living room. The game is still good fun, but a home console isn't the best possible platform for this type of game. [May 2013]- Pelit (Finland)

Good show yet again, Mr Holmes. The master detectives latest adventure pits him and doctor Watson against the nefarious killer Jack the Ripper in a dark and dangerous adventure of creative and interesting puzzles based on detective work. Might be a bit too easy for veterans of the genre though. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good slash 'em up -adventure. It's pretty and faithful to the original character i.e. extremely brutal and bloody. There's some minor why can't I go there -type problems, though. [May 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

A good start, but Black Hole has forgotten to make the final adjustments. Tactical fighting needs more variables, sieges suck, friendly fire should be at least an option and overall the single player mode should be more challenging. [Jan 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is technically a bit clunky but otherwise it’s the best fun for Neverwinter since Mask of the Betrayer. The story is delightfully old school and focuses more on adventure and less on combat, which creates nice mystery atmosphere.- Pelit (Finland)
