Proves itself as yet another entertaining instalment of the ever continuing series. All the elements that first made the series great are still there, but the new simplistic visual style with its knee-high camera and the downright ugly surroundings do put a damper on the mood. [Dec 2007]

Quite an interesting action puzzler. It’s a kind of Tetris mutated with physics-engine. Too bad the music is simply horrible. [Aug 2009]

Though it's essentially an extended prologue with very little story, the first chapter of The Journey Down shows promise. There's plenty of humor and old-fashioned adventure charm here, even though some of the puzzles are a bit too goofy. Now hurry up and make more chapters! [Aug 2012]

A Medieval action RPG with a great battle system, and there are many ways you can play the game. The game doesn't have a storyline, which is why it becomes a bit boring and pointless after a while, but it does have many good mods and they will keep the game fresh. [Sept 2008]

Gabriel Knight is a prime example of an excellent adventure game. This tribute is almost as good as the Jane Jensen's work and it's just the first episode of the game.

I wish playing as a templar would have had a more direct difference on the gameplay, now Assassin's Creed Rogue just feels a bit rushed. The numerous bugs and a boring main character don't do the game any favors either. [Dec 2014]

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is as perfect as sequels come. It takes everything that was good with the original title and polishes it to a mirror sheen perfection. Nevermind a few enemy AI annoyances, World in Flames is undoubtedly one of greatest modern sandbox-shooters. [Sept 2008]

A very good FPS:esque shoot 'em up. The enemies are interesting and the glaive even more so. The surroundings are a bit too monotonous, though. [Apr 2008]

Although there are lots of areas to explore, there is too little to do. You can just swim, feed the fishes, pat your dolphin and stare at the ocean. Though the soundtrack is nice and game has a nice atmosphere, I would call my feeling of the game “bored” rather than “relaxed”. [Jan 2008]

Star Wars Battlefront looks and sounds great, and with Battlefield-class gameplay could have ruled the multiplayer galaxy. Unfortunately, at best OK-level, Battlefront-class gameplay is much too shallow to last long. And this is THE one license, which really needs a single player campaign. [Dec 2015]

An interesting roguelike RPG in a madmaxey sci-fiworld. The tactical car combat is fluid and addictive. Pretty much everything is a sci-fi reference, which can be a burden. [Aug 2015]

Tries to find a new direction for the series, but the choices made are hit-and-miss. Amped 3 feels watered down and butchered compared to Amped 2. The crazy cutscenes are fun to watch, though. [Feb 2006]

A beautiful Japanese action-RPG with some new ideas and many old ones. It is an adventure of epic portions, but after about a 1000 fights, you are willing to give peace a chance. [Mar 2006]

If you have played MarioParty games before you know all too well what DS version is about. Neat, cute and smooth fun for you and three friends, throwing the dice to get you around the board and organizing mischief to the others inbetween collecting randomly scattered stars, minigames following each round to win some more money - you know the stuff. And if you don't then this is as good a time as any to learn what MarioParty means. DS version is no inferior to any other previous one so go check it out for some light hearted fun á la Nintendo. Very much an average take on JRPG genre. While it does offer a long story brimming with anime cliches and conventions, and more than enough options to customize your characters and their skills, the plot feels bland, stumbling from plot twist to another, and the character cast something we've seen a thousand times before. Action sequences outside boss fights, while fast-paced and even fun quickly become repetetive button mashers without much tactics or thinking needed. [July 2009]

Takes the best stuff from Sims 2 and its add-ons, adds a story mode and makes the whole experience a bit lighter on the hardware. What is there not to like? [Mar 2007]

The combination of Holmes and Cthulhu works very well. The puzzles are challenging but realistic, and the plot is intriguing. On the minus side, there is too much running to and fro and sometimes the 3D environment makes it hard to find the needed things. [Feb 2007]

A forced remake. The gaming scene is so over saturated with the match three genre, Galactrix feels old right off the bat. Even though very clichéd, the proven core elements still works. [Apr 2009]

Although Lego The Hobbit is a fairly good game, it's yet again another clone of the Traveller's Tales' Lego franchise. The game mechanics haven't changed and especially monotonous combat system really gets to my nerves. The journey was also unexpected, as the game covers only the two first movies and the third installation of the series is coming later on as an DLC package. [May 2014]

While the story and puzzles falter a bit, there is still something utterly captivating about Primordia. The robots, broken both on the outside and on the inside, claimed for themselves a small part of my heart. And with your heart, not your mind, Primordia should really be approached.
