Soulstorm should have introduced decent air forces, not just these handful of hovering tank-like units. Otherwise a fun expansion as always. [Apr 2008]

The Flame in the Flood is an aesthetically stunning piece of survival Americana with strong art direction, held back only by its clunky game mechanics. [Apr 2016]

The well-designed toys are the highlight of Disney’s Skylanders clone. As a children’s game the new Disney Infinity falls short when viewed from a Nordic cultural perspective. Here, Marvel doesn’t really hold a status as a major cultural icon among 7 year olds. [Dec 2014]

This episodic action adventure has a solid foundation, although there should be something more in the coming episodes to back it up. The premise is promising, just some fine tuning and the product hits right on the mark. [Dec 2015]

First Light is a solid expansion to the inFamous franchise, but it sort of wastes some it's potential. The storyline is almost painfully predictable. While Fetch's fragility is endearing, she comes off as a rather weak protagonist. [Oct 2014]

Takes Dante’s Divine Comedy and turns it into a bloody God of War -wannabe action romp with ridiculously overdone ”adult” themes. Despite its unintentional humour value, the game itself is smooth and entertaining enough, if a bit on the short side. [Mar 2010]

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir tries to hark back to the good old days of 80’s computer rpgs, but falls short in every aspect. The lack of story makes everything feel bland and the free-roaming world map is filled with annoying amounts of random encounters. [Jan 2009]

It's a shame Freedom Cry doesn't make full use of it's setting, since it is something that's way too little explored in gaming, or other types of media. Degrading the fates of the slaves to mere currency for equipment upgrades is a missed opportunity in video game story telling. [Feb 2014]

Beautiful Katamari is the same old Katamari with high definition graphics. That's it - and it's also very short. Still the original quirky idea provides a few hours of gay old time.

A very good Thrust-clone with a nice level editor. Too bad there's no reactor carrying and internet multiplayer modes. [Jan 2010]

Anarchy Reigns is an over-the-top beat 'em up adventure with a half-baked single player mode. The multiplayer makes up for it, though. That is, when there are enough players. Anarchy Reigns desperately needs automatic playlists. [March 2013]

Divekick's minimalist approach works well. While the game is very easy to pick up, it still has enough depth to keep also fighting game connoisseurs entertained for a good while. Even the cheap jokes are funny. [Dec 2013]

An amusing arcade racer with heavy emphasis on speed and outrageous jumps. The morphing tracks are nice. It is a bit too short, though. A career mode would have been better. [Mar 2007]

Tom Clancy’s Hawx has the looks but is also as shallow as flight combat games come. For some people the lack of realism is a complete turn-off, but for those who can simply take it for what it is – a shoot ’em up – it’s actually good fun. [Apr 2009]

The PS3 version is graphically outdated and the loading times are painfully long, but Fear is still a quality shooter. Despite the atmospheric music and sound effects, the game is not as frightening as it could be. Great AI, though. [June 2007]

Reborn is a promising start for the new entry in the Dreamfall saga. The story is as ambitious as it has always been in the series and Europolis is a gorgeous location to explore. Hopefully he remaining episodes will continue (and end!) the story in a satisfying way. [Dec 2014]

A decent football game with a lot of teams and up-to-date lineups. The Treble feels more like a soap opera than football with simulated games and weird accidents. On the pitch UCL 06–07 has its moments, but does not really shine. The new gameplay based on collectable cards in the Xbox 360 version works great and is tons of fun, and the game looks and sounds very nice. [Apr 2007]

This game is the opposite of modern FPS. Enemies attack in hordes and the levels are labyrinths. Serious Sam 3: BFE is a game from 90's made with the tools of the 21st century. [March 2012]

Pointless violence is fun and this viking showdown is good for some old-fashioned arcade smashing especially in multiplayer mode. It's an debut to old Amiga games. Back then all you needed was a joystick with two buttons. [Jan 2013]

A very good racing game, which feels suitably realistic. Not too real, though, that would be undriveable. The career mode is a bit dull, since cars are practically given, not bought. [Mar 2009]
