    Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is technically a bit clunky but otherwise it’s the best fun for Neverwinter since Mask of the Betrayer. The story is delightfully old school and focuses more on adventure and less on combat, which creates nice mystery atmosphere.

    It’s not a third expansion, just a well done mini-campaign. The adventure takes place in busy Westgate and some smaller areas, there is no world outside of the city walls. There are a lot of things to do, weird characters to meet and dialogues which even surpass the quality of the main game from time to time.

    Yes, the mask is inconsequential except as a topic of conversation and the story sometimes seems to lose its focus, but the quests are enjoyable and the opportunity for real roleplaying abounds.

    The focus on storytelling and interesting quests instead of pure combat makes Mysteries of Westgate a great adventure for all D&D fans. Music is excellent, city design is very well done, quests are very interesing, characters are sometimes pretty humorous, and considering the price and being a DLC, not the full expansion pack, MoW is pretty much a must-buy for every adventure-loving RPG fan.… Expand
