  1. A great Adventure Pack, and it is an easy campaign to do and level fast.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is technically a bit clunky but otherwise it’s the best fun for Neverwinter since Mask of the Betrayer. The story is delightfully old school and focuses more on adventure and less on combat, which creates nice mystery atmosphere.

Perfect ratio of fight and talk makes this new Neverwinter add-on a must have for all RPG fans. Seek no innovations here, Westgate offers nothing but believable living worlds, free of all fantasy clichés. [July 2009]
  4. Ossian brought many genre clichés to Westgate, be it a treasure hunt, a theft investigation, inevitable gladiatorial fights, dialogue-driven quests, or a drinking contest, but twisted them in unexpected ways. Those who take their time to explore each nook and cranny of Westgate will enjoy lots of adventures.
  5. Mysteries of Westgate hat many brilliant moments. But is it enough for ten Euros? For Fans of Neverwinter Nights 2, Mysteries of Westgate is a rewarding Investment but for Casual Gamer this expansion pack is not really useful.

The focus on storytelling and interesting quests instead of pure combat makes Mysteries of Westgate a great adventure for all D&D fans. Music The focus on storytelling and interesting quests instead of pure combat makes Mysteries of Westgate a great adventure for all D&D fans. Music is excellent, city design is very well done, quests are very interesing, characters are sometimes pretty humorous, and considering the price and being a DLC, not the full expansion pack, MoW is pretty much a must-buy for every adventure-loving RPG fan.
