The most obvious letdown: the drab, blocky graphics. It's so dull that it even out-uglies some of the first-generation PS2 crap. [Dec 2002, p.162]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

A whole can of polish should have been slapped on to make this one really shine. [Jan 2006, p.91]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

A surprisingly rewarding and polished adaptation of the show. [Mar 2004, p.98]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

Though absurd, the story is one of Blood Will Tell's best features. [Dec 2004, p.114]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

This game features such pretentious bad taste that you'll first wonder if the developers are really stupid or really smart. [Jan 2002, p.126]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

A pretty good collection with a nice mixture of old to help complement the new. [Dec 2005, p.132]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

Why would I want to play a game that consists mostly of waiting? [Apr 2003, p.87]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

A shallow racer spread thinly over other game styles. [Jan 2006, p.101]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

Apparently, it never occurred to anyone at Cavia that using a first-person shooter setup to control a game seen in the third person is a little like putting "Resident Evil"-style controls in a "Mario" game: technically possible but deeply stupid. Zone is a hard game, easily the toughest Crisis yet. You'll be frustrated, but you'll still be entertained. [Nov 2004, p.138]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

A quirky, lighthearted third-person action-adventure that's a fun and engaging diversion - ideal for the PSP. [Oct 2005, p.109]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

A surprisingly solid movie-licensed title--despite its somewhat odd use of a balled-up Charlize Theron.- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

I'll admit it's nice to play as a girl instead of watching one prance around the ring for the boys. Unfortunately, the experience bogs down amidst the sex appeal; for a game with such an overage of cleavage, it's ironic that after a couple hours, Rumble Roses starts to feel flat.- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

Boy, did we get screwed. Why? Guess what kind of multiplayer mode RtCW has on PS2? Go ahead, guess! Give up? NONE. [Aug 2003, p.102]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

"SSX" looked better two years ago, and the water comes nowhere near equaling that in last year's "Splashdown." [Dec 2002, p.160]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

Since Extinction requires so little in the way of actual strategy, it probably deserves the title of "RTS Lite" more than "Army Men RTS" ever did... Don't expect anything too terribly deep and you won't be disappointed. [Sept 2003, p.92]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

Surely, I thought, the challenge level has a setting other than "stupid easy" or "mind-bogglingly confusing because the mutant aiming system bites." I thought wrong. Encounters in Space is just that bad. [Dec 2003, p.164]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

What's not so impressive is that actual combat is pretty sucky. The combos themselves are simplistic. [Jun 2006, p.94]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine

The depth to which NFL Head Coach goes to simulate its world is impressive. Pigskin fanatics will love it, but if I want stress and boredom, I think I'll stick with my day job. [Aug 2006, p.79]- Official U.S. Playstation Magazine
