It’s cute and funny and at the same time it takes the gameplay seriously. The subtle touches that are found throughout the game are what make it such a joy to play.

If you’ve never played this title before, add a couple of points for being one of the least informed gamers out there. There’s no shame in that.

It's cute, it's exhilarating, and it's an extremely good alternative to the failed Pokemon Channel. Is it worth the casual gamer's dollar? Probably not.

The downside of the game is simply that it is not up to par with "SSX3," which is what happens when you go head to head with someone who has had two previous tries in one console generation to get it right.

There's only so long you can stand to watch Pikachu frolicking aimlessly on an empty beach. This may be a good game for very young children who are still interested in Pokémon, but God bless the parent who has the patience to play through it with them.

Like most women in the single scene these days, it looks good from afar but it's far from good. The hype of voice acting, stylish soundtrack, and unique comic book presentation may draw you in but the weak gameplay experience will have you running for cover.

Dissatisfying and a pale comparison to how good this game could have been if it were designed to play like a fantasy sports simulation.
