I became addicted to this game rather quickly. Its balance of a developing story and increasing difficulty levels kept me coming back for more.
-
Perhaps the biggest change is the smooth, clear graphics.
-
The best thing going for it is the very well done graphical style. [Mar 2004, p.114]
-
Though it cannot entertain the same kind of technological prowess as Vengeance and Sin Tzu Senior, the sadly forgotten Sin Tzu Advance attains numerous merits that put it a cut above its bulkier console brethren.
-
Doesn't capture the spirit of the Dark Knight, and it's barely as interesting as most platformers for the two-decade-old NES.
-
Has all the makings of a great game if only the designers had put more effort into the combat and perhaps mixed up the action with some puzzles and utility belt access.
-
The gameplay is disappointing, though, and isn't even much fun in a mindless, repetitive sort-of way. The level design drags the whole event down even more, and the lack of a real save system makes playing the game that much more frustrating.

May 5, 2023Yet another superhero-based platform beat 'em up. Decent enough but very linear and generic.
