The stealth gameplay is once again central but has been improved. What a pity the game only runs at 30 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X and it's really heavy on PC.

Minigore 2: Zombies is a huge improvement over the first episode and stands as one of the best (if not the best) twin analog shooter available on the App Store.

Mortal Kombat on VITA has set the standard for the sheer amount of content that is to be expected from a title like this. This is one of the Vita's best games overall.

Total War: Three Kingdoms innovations are also his weak points. It's a good Total War, but not the best one.

Limbo remains the same wonderful and disturbing experience that we lived almost five years ago. Although this is clearly a good point, maybe we would have hoped in some new content.

It's the closest thing to Trials HD you can get on iOS, but its difficulty gets overly frustrating at times.

Thronebreakers: The Witcher Tales is a good addition to the Gwent gameplay and anyone who loves The Witcher's lore, will love the story told in this game.

Far Cry 4 is a well devised more of the same. Unfortunately the story lacks punch, what is not missing are a huge amount of contents, a long and enjoyable free roaming experience and obviously fun.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is the finest strategic stealth game on the market, not much to add. It's an evolution made possible by Mimimi's extensive experience, as they've carefully thought about how to expand the genre's formula without losing its essence, creating a broader-scope experience that only drawback could be its potential to feel demanding due to its strictness. It's a mentally engaging game that, however, can provide a lot of satisfaction, especially when one has mastered all the various systems it comprises. Therefore, it's an absolutely recommended title, one that those who enjoyed Desperados III or Shadow Tactics should not miss for any reason.

There are many different possibilities for strategy lover on mobile platforms today, but we'll suggest Antihero as a peculiar choice for its depth and originality.

Tomb Raider is a highly accomplished reboot, and the term Definitive Edition goes well with this version of the game. The setting is excellent, the character's transformation is emotional and effective, and the pacing and variety of the gameplay are top notch. The Definitive Edition really is definitive but isn't worth a repeat buy for those who've already experienced Lara's story.

Ubisoft Montpellier may not have created the most original game around, true, but the team's latest creation does not just copy: The Lost Crown makes the best use of what has made some of the greatest metroidvanias of the genre great, and manages to stand out from the crowd with its quality. A great game that any action lover should try.

Super Meat Boy is great as always, both on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. If you didn’t play previous iterations and you are looking for fast-paced action, great level design and a bunch of old school challenges, this title is definitely a must have.

Papers, Please is a really unique experience. Given the price, it's definitely a must-have if you want to try a game that's funny in a way different from the usual one.

The perfect first person shooter for the players that are looking only for the shooting.

Marvel Snap is a really solid and well done collectible card strategy game, with very immediate mechanics but also a tactical depth capable of making the experience engaging in the long term.

DiRT 4 is a solid racer that offers a compelling, fully customizable experience with lots of content.

Clash Royale is a nice, little MOBA that will keep you entertained for hours thanks to a solid online multiplayer and a well made progression system.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters confirms all the strengths of the series, with accurate controls (thanks to the MotionPlus attachment) and lots of game modes.

Radiant Historia is still an excellent RPG and Perfect Chronology adds new content, voiceovers and a debatable Friendly Mode, among other things, although it didn't age very well visually speaking.

The Old Republic is an excellent co-op RPG crafted around one of the deepest franchises ever created which BioWare very well understands and deals with. As an MMO game however it lacks quite some polish and a few features which should be mandatory nowadays. It's up to BioWare now to refine the game and fix the most important issues, especially client-side, to finally stand up as one of the best MMORPG on the market.

This is, quite clearly, a labour of love. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a brilliant take on the turn based strategy genre, that wonderfully fuses the Nintendo Aesthetic to a fast-paced tactical system and well crafted puzzles.

After so many years Crash is back, in an almost perfect adventure.

Although way better than the previous chapter, Blue Defense: Second Wave! is certainly less ambitious than Red Conquest. It must be said though that even if the game lacks any real additional mode, plot or multiplayer experience, the new units and the deeper control system will satisfy any hardcore gamer that thought the first Blue Defense was too easy.

Hyperburner is a fun, stylish futuristic racer, with a solid campaign and great graphics and sound.

Chaos Rising is the perfect expansion: everything you can expect from an add-on is there. A good single player with a story that follows Dawn of War II and several new things in the multiplayer starting from the new faction, the Chaos. The only negative aspect of the game is that the newcomers may feel it too complex, and only those who have played Dawn of War II will have the complete experience.

More brutal and dramatic than ever, Starved for Help put the player in uncomfortable situations, forcing him to take decisions that could easily regret later.

Ni No Kuni II is one of the best action JRPGs of the last several years.

Statik is a good virtual reality experience, with demanding puzzles that will keep you brain busy for some hours.

Chocohero is fun to play and it's got very cute graphics. It also offers new missions to complete each time you beat the game, so the gameplay feels different from the several other "survival games" available on the App Store.

_PRISM delivers a charming, short but intense puzzle experience, packed with stylish graphics and sound.

Lumines strikes back on Android and iOS, including the original favorite Shinin' from Mondo Grosso. Finally a mobile worthy version of this great puzzle-music game.

Disc Drivin' is a genuinely entertaining multiplayer time-waster, and since it's free it's easy to overlook on its issues.

Aquaria on the iPad retains the charm of the original game and remains a must buy despite the not perfect conversion of controls.

Kingdom Hearts back again on PlayStation 4, in an awesome sixty frames per seconds version!

It is undoubtedly the best golf simulation available on all platforms: it makes a masterful use of the Motion Plus and offers a whole lot of content, and even if it's basically the same game as last year, every golf addicted should pick it up.

Deathsmiles is another masterpiece created by Cave: funny and full of action, with RPG elements in iPhone Mode, it could be considered as one of the definitive shot'em ups, of course alongside Espgaluda 2 and Dodonpachi Resurrection.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax comes a little too late in Europe but it's an all around excellent beat'em up nevertheless with a huge amount of content for fans of the genre and brand lovers.

Rare Replay is a fantastic collection of great games, quality is very high and in many cases enhanced by graphical improvements. The section devoted to the ZX Spectrum has mainly historical value, but titles such as Knight Lore and Jetpac manage to surprise even today. The library Xbox 360 must be seen as a bonus and is seen more as an excuse to investigate the potential emulator Xbox One, really incredible. The absence of titles Nintendo is felt quite heavily and some choices, such as insert Killer Instinct Gold, are questionable, but at that price you should not miss this.

Anno 117: Pax Romana is a sequel that really delivers — which wasn’t easy, considering how good Anno 1800 was. The game feels more modern overall, and the new setting brings in fresh mechanics that don’t completely change the formula, but definitely make it feel different and exciting again for longtime fans. The land battles aren’t super deep strategically, but they’re fun from a management point of view — and that’s what really counts. As a city builder, this is the best Anno so far: you can finally build diagonally, and your citizens now react to shortages in a much stronger and more dramatic way than before.

Heavenly Bodies has a single task: to make us struggle with gravity. Our astronaut must drag, throw, grab, pull, press and more, with the ultimate goal of getting a series of abandoned space stations back on their feet. If you're not afraid to put yourself to the test and are ready for a low gaming pace, we recommend it.

Two Point Museum is another great game by Two Point Studios that you have to play.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light returns on iOS and Android with a truly flawless conversion of an adventure that still manages to showcase its full potential on mobile. It offers a solid, challenging, and engaging experience that doesn't feel dated despite nearly fifteen years having passed since its original debut. The developers at Feral Interactive have once again done an excellent job.

Ball x Pit has haunted our console for days, like a ghost that refused to leave, claiming more and more space, more and more time. It’s one of the most ruthless examples of those games that make you say, “just one more round and I’ll stop,” except you never actually do. Every match is engaging, every bit of character building grabs you by the hand and drags you into perfectly timed sessions that almost always — even when you lose — leave you with something useful for the next attempt. It’s a Machiavellian mechanism. The credit goes partly to the tried-and-true roguelite formula, but also to the creativity shown in designing power-ups, special balls, and characters. Ball x Pit is pure joy... as irresistible and alluring as a siren’s song.

Thronebreaker was released as a good game and today this Switch port gives another great chance to dive into Meve's story. An play some Gwent, obviously.

The PC version of Judgment dissolves doubts about the future of the series, or at least that's what we hope. The game offers a quality very similar to the PS5 version and a fair number of graphic options to scale the experience on different configurations.

Guilty Gear Xrd is an explosive and colourful beat'em up which is fun and spectacular for newbies while addictive and deep for veterans. It lacks on variety and characters but still the best game of the genre you can find on a new generation system.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is an addictive yet challenging role playing game with puzzle twists and a really impressive depth. Fans of the strategy games and fantasy genre will be absolutely pleased by this new HD version.

Overall, PES 2009 is a better, more refined and complete experience than before. The classic controller option makes the game more accessible to the casual audience, but also shows that maybe Konami doesn't believe too much in the Wii-exclusive gameplay mechanics. Besides that, this is the best soccer you can play on Nintendo's amazingly successful console.

Trails beyond the Horizon represents a true turning point—the moment when The Legend of Heroes series breaks with the past and projects itself into the future. We know nothing about the next game in chronological order, but at this point Nihon Falcom can no longer turn back; it can only move forward. The studio has refined the combat system, set the narrative on a path toward its conclusion, and assembled an impressive cast. All that remains is to modernize the technical side; after that, even opening up to new players becomes a secondary concern. From our point of view, the appeal of The Legend of Heroes now lies precisely in the universe it has cultivated over many years of JRPGs—a universe that makes the saga a truly unique experience for genre fans who have the time and desire to catch up on the previous titles. Trails beyond the Horizon has shown that it’s worth it.

Beyond good & Evil is far from being a true masterpiece in gaming history, but it's still a really good game that, back then, deserved way more commercial success that it actually got.

FIFA 17 carries on the good work done by its predecessor, making some changes to the gameplay that make it one of the best games ever into the series. Our expectations for The Journey were a bit higher than the final result, but it's still a good experience.

Cheerful, charismatic and mesmerizing, Tiny Wings is really fun to look at and play with: it perfectly fits for quick plays but it requires some practice to master jumps and slides. Visually it's simply beautiful, with procedurally generated islands and wonderful sound effects. Tiny Wings is a little, colourful and unpretentious game, but like many other tiny iPhone games it can touch the heart of the player.

Ikaruga on PC is the same great classic shooter seen on the other platforms.

Hyper Light Drifter on iOS is a wonderful conversion of one of the best indie games of the recent years.

Codemaster's F1 2010 is a great game, not only for its visual achievements, but also for the way it puts you inside the cockpit of Formula 1 car. You don't only have to drive faster than others pilots, but you have to live a season completely, earning the trust of your team, defeat your teammate and bully stand in front the cameras after a race, in the usual press conference.

The main campaign in Sound Shapes is a synesthetic journey through the personality of four great artists, but where it shines the most is in the flexible and entertaining music editor.
