    I encourage everyone to give this game a try, even if you're a vigilant hater of free to play. Monetization methods aside, you'll still be able to see what a clever formula Supercell has stumbled upon to here with this hybrid of card games, strategy games, and MOBAs.

    Royale’s latest update has now had a month to bed-in, and it’s a welcome change. The two-tier battle pass has been slimmed down to one – the free version now considerably more generous – and the shards needed to buy evolutions are easier to come by. A fix for the game’s creaking clan wars system is presumably in the works, but this already feels like a big step in the right direction.

    The game is very simple and fun at the beginning however you need to know that you will hit a paywall after the first 2 or 3 months ofThe game is very simple and fun at the beginning however you need to know that you will hit a paywall after the first 2 or 3 months of playing, you will soon discover that leveling up cards to play in arenas after 4000 trophies gets insanely hard and prices also get ridiculous as you can't purchase individual cards but chests only with a very low card value also you will face "maxed" p2w players that will crush you and completely ruin your experience.
    You can always focus on leveling up only one deck but still it takes months to level up all your cards and you won't be able to play anything else.

    The game is good, fun and fast paced but even dedicated players think the Pay to Win concept is just so abusive in this game...    … Expand

    It's a neat game with a fun concept. Lots of collectibles and arenas to play through and a large player base which keeps the game alive.It's a neat game with a fun concept. Lots of collectibles and arenas to play through and a large player base which keeps the game alive. However this concept is immediately tarnished from the beginning as there's always micro-transactions which can buy you an advantage. Sure the beginning is easy (even against pay to win kids) because you can easily outsmart and destroy younger kids who are stuck at the bottom. But as you go up, the arenas are much more unforgiving. There's a larger variety of broken cards which kids buy and use to win matches. It's no longer a game of wits and is now a game of who can spend more money. In higher arenas it seems more like a chore than it is a game and that's what's so awful. Supercell (ONCE AGAIN) has let pay to win kids ruin a fun and interesting concept (actually clash of clans wasn't that fun to begin with)… Expand

    This game is crap. Pay, pay, pay to win! No money no result! You need 5000-10000$ to play this "FREE to play" game! Supercell is greedy, avid company!
