Returnal is an interesting game and for those who want a roguelike that keeps the story hidden behind a challenging gameplay loop, this is a wonderful place to start. Astropos is full of mystery and danger but with enough runs, any player has the ability to master the tight combat offered up here.- Movies Games and Tech

Fobia - St. Dinfna Hotel is a creepy horror title that occasionally lacks direction. Furthermore, it moves away from combat and relies more on quests, puzzles, and exploration. On top of this, it has an excellent story and a protagonist that you can empathise with. I loved its nod to Resident Evil and its many unique elements.- Movies Games and Tech

Overall, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition felt to be a strong attempt, and in many aspects, succeeds well in moving from VR to non-VR. If you’re coming into it without having played the VR version, it ought to feel like a solid Alien first-person shooter / horror experience: plenty of atmosphere, dread, decent combat, improved visuals, and tighter controls. The reworked AI and changes to control and camera help make the game more accessible and perhaps more “fun” in a conventional flat screen sense without the necessity of a VR setup.- Movies Games and Tech

Red Dead Redemption remains an example of excellent writing and characterisation. Its setting is atmospheric, and there's a reasonable amount to do, even if there are slight engine annoyances and some repetition in the mission structure.- Movies Games and Tech

The Callisto Protocol is an exceptional horror adventure title. It will be hard for Dead Space fans to ignore the similarities, but it should be enjoyed on its merits. With slick combat, amazing aesthetics, and an incredible plot, this needs to be played.- Movies Games and Tech

Somber Echoes succeeds, for the most part, in crafting a unique tale of sci fi horror and mythology. A captivating story, a great movement system and solid combat will satisfy fans of the Metroidvania genre and keep them coming back for more with multiple endings to unlock. It’s a shame though that middling story presentation and some areas being too dark will result in frustrations for players along the way. I can really admire and respect the developers for taking a leap of faith with this game. More games need to take narrative swings like this!- Movies Games and Tech

The game’s ability to keep you hooked is impressive. It shows that sometimes, simple ideas can be impactful. Coloree proves that a game doesn’t need complex stories or dialogue to be captivating. So I tell you, as a gamer and a possible future friend to give it a chance. Maybe, just maybe, it will make you find something in your life that may help you find yourself.- Movies Games and Tech

In conclusion, Koira is a testament to the power of minimalist storytelling, where art and music converge to create a compelling experience. Its engaging gameplay, evocative visuals, and innovative musical interactions make it a standout title in the adventure genre. For those seeking a game that explores the depths of friendship and the beauty of non-verbal communication, Koira offers an unforgettable journey through its enchanted forest.- Movies Games and Tech

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver is a great visual novel experience. However, it isn't perfect. Yet, I enjoyed the varied characters and the excellent story. Sadly, though, the controls weren't great, and replay value is limited.- Movies Games and Tech

Echo Generation: Midnight Edition is quirky, hilarious, and fun. It perfectly blends turn-based RPG combat with waves of nostalgia. Fans of RPGs, indie games, or just looking for a trip back to the 90s will have a blast with this game. My only gripe is that I wish the game were a little longer.- Movies Games and Tech

Monaco 2 is a smart, stylish sequel that evolves the series in meaningful ways. The move to 3D, the dynamic heists, and the emphasis on co-op gameplay make it feel fresh while still capturing the spirit of the original. Whether you’re a returning fan or a newcomer to the world of stylish digital burglary, this is one heist worth pulling off. For the price and the hours of replay-ability I can recommend the game to fans of stealth and pulling of complex plans, as well as those looking for chaos with friends.- Movies Games and Tech

If you’re a fan of Visual Novels, then Still Joking is a must-play. It offers an intriguing mix of narrative depth, point-and-click mechanics, and puzzle-solving elements that keep you engaged from start to finish. While the gameplay might not appeal to those looking for more traditional or action-oriented experiences, the story’s complexity and the numerous choices available make it a standout in its genre. If you’re up for a surprising and engaging experience, give Still Joking a try.- Movies Games and Tech

These games aren’t long and the beauty in my opinion is failing, learning and getting farther and farther every time. But as a time capsule of mid-‘90s game design and a long-lost piece of gaming history, Rendering Ranger: R² is a must-play for anyone who loves retro action games. It’s a reminder of an era when developers pushed hardware to its limits, delivering experiences that still hold up decades later. If you missed it the first time around, now’s your chance to experience a lost gem that truly deserves its cult status at a more than fair price.- Movies Games and Tech

For fans of the original film, this game is a true love letter to the original through wonderful sound and character design. Brilliant and innovative additions to the asymmetrical multiplayer genre and strong and unique map design help make this game stand alone in a plethora of available titles. Whilst the game can be frustrating at times due to balancing issues, its overall package is strong enough to overcome this. A relic of the past with a fresh twist. Sleek visuals, simple yet intriguing narrative and an absolutely incredible soundtrack; OXTO really is a force to behold in this genre. Superb sound design and variety of weapons and abilities, coupled with the focus mechanic help create varying gameplay styles to test and innovate. It’s only the erratic AI and some choices relating to the game’s upgrades that can make OXTO lose its momentum in the long term replay ability aspect. But OXTO is a game I would highly recommend, a real fun blast.- Movies Games and Tech
