Wayward Strand is a slow-burning but story-rich adventure. Control the inquisitive Casey as you explore a floating hospital for 3 days in the summer. Speak to the residents, observe their actions, and unfold a wonderfully intertwined experience.

The plot may be forgettable, but the gameplay is strong enough to keep you coming back. If you enjoy games where planning, upgrading, and surviving feel like one smooth motion, then Zombie Cure Lab is worth the download. Just don’t expect a deep narrative ride.

Artis Impact is an engaging RPG with a rich story and gorgeous visuals. My time with the game so far has been great and I am eager to reach the end to see how the story concludes. If you enjoy RPGs, I would highly recommend this game. From where I’m at, I believe I’m almost nearing the end of the game so it’s not super long if you prefer shorter RPGs.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox is a morbid and surreal Metroidvania experience. With tough puzzles and cruel combat, this will test the best players. Moreover, the cruel bosses will push you to your limits. What's more, it is free to play on Game Pass.

The Smurfs: Dreams is a surreal adventure title that tackles combat, platforming, and puzzle mechanics. Furthermore, each stage is wonderfully designed. The perspective twisting action will test your skills and the gameplay is ideal for younger gamers. My only complaint is the lack of replay value.

Pocket Bravery is an old-school beat 'em-up that tested my skills. This isn't my go-to genre, but I enjoyed the retro imagery and the hectic action. If you love the genre, you'll adore every moment.

While it may not be the most accessible game for casual players, those who enjoy a good challenge will find The Fall of Aether Station to be a rewarding and highly engaging experience. It’s a game that requires patience, strategic thinking, and a willingness to adapt—qualities that are richly rewarded as you defend your space station against an ever-evolving enemy.

Black Myth: Wukong is a visually stunning and mechanically sound RPG that offers a fresh spin on a beloved myth. Its engaging combat, especially the epic boss battles, and impressive art direction make it a must-play for fans of action RPGs. However, the game’s linear exploration, underwhelming gear system, and occasional technical issues hold it back from being a true masterpiece. For those looking for a challenging action RPG with deep roots in Chinese mythology, Black Myth: Wukong delivers an unforgettable experience, even if it stumbles in a few areas.

PowerWash Simulator - Shrek Special Pack is a fun but time consuming DLC. This colourful fantasy affair is wonderful to play. Yet, if you tackle it alone, you must be prepared to invest plenty of hours. Furthermore, the mechanics do not change and this will keep hardcore fans happy.

As a whole, Citizen Sleeper is a fantastic RPG management game that involves a heavy dystopian tone of a derelict future. If this sounds like something you love, and if you’re a fan of games like In Other Waters and Disco Elysium then this may be for you. I’d recommend it to anyone searching for the next space-based adventure, especially since it only takes about five hours to fight your way through.

If you’re into Strategy games this can be a fun take on things. Plus I’d wager it’s also a great entry point into the genre. Its learning curve isn’t steep enough to scare off newbies, and it’s got more than enough content to keep you going for a long time.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins has successfully reinvigorated a series that I had previously struggled to connect with. Its focused storytelling, enhanced combat mechanics, and impressive presentation have transformed it into a must-play experience. As someone who had only dabbled in the earlier titles, I found myself thoroughly impressed and eagerly invested in the battles and characters. I would confidently rate this game an 8 out of 10, recognizing it as a triumphant return that appeals to both veterans and newcomers alike.

To sum up Killing Floor 3 is difficult because there is so much to love and yet a decent amount of frustration. Great gameplay, online co-op and superb sound design and score should have seen the game launch to more fanfare. Sadly, a non-existent story, middling visual presentation due to bugs, and a lack of content will sour the experience for some players. There is a great game to be had here, even with the usual live service shenanigans! It’s a case of whether you can see the wood for the trees. I hope the post launch content comes thick and fast like the gameplay.

In conclusion, the Tomba! Special Edition is a lovingly crafted tribute to a game that deserves to be remembered. While it may not be for everyone, especially those who prefer more polished, modern experiences. It’s a must-play for fans of retro games or anyone looking to explore a unique piece of gaming history. This edition goes above and beyond, offering a mix of nostalgia and new features that make it a worthwhile experience for both old fans and newcomers alike.

Frog Legs is the kind of game that feels like it was made on a dare—and maybe it was. It doesn’t aim to be polished, or consistent, or even stable. But what it lacks in structure, it makes up for in sheer chaotic ambition. It’s seven games duct-taped together, soaked in nostalgia, then lit on fire by a fart joke.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a tour de force in how to bring anime into the gaming space. A compelling faithful retelling of a story fans love, superb combat and stunning visual and audio design make this game a really special experience. Whilst the lack of additions may upset some returning players, along with the weak gear system, there’s still so much fun to be had in this game. You can really feel the love and care the developers have poured into this sequel! See you in the arena!

Mia and the Dragon Princess is an excellent FMV title. Despite its minor issues, I loved this captivating and often witty endeavour. Its short playtime mitigates tedium and the colourful characters and fun acting will make you chuckle throughout. If you love the genre, then you must give this a go!

While Terraformers has its faults like the unclear tutorials that don’t explain the mechanics of the game very well, it is overall still a very fun game. This is thanks to the fantastic presentation, the many unlockable options and difficulty options leading to a very replayable game, and the challenging yet enjoyable gameplay. I strongly recommend giving this game a go. While it has a slow start, I encourage you to push through its grueling start to find a fantastic game with a lot of depth and an emotional soundtrack.

Romancing Saga 2 is a timeless RPG that combines deep mechanics, an engaging art style, and innovative gameplay elements. While some systems may alienate newcomers, fans of challenging, strategy-driven RPGs will find immense satisfaction in its layered approach to combat and exploration. Its thematic focus on generational legacy and adaptability makes it a standout title on the PS5. If you’re willing to embrace its quirks and steep learning curve, Romancing Saga 2 offers a rich and rewarding journey.

BLACKTAIL is a colourful story-rich action-adventure RPG. With a stunning plot, interesting characters, and slick combat, this is a treat to play. Furthermore, you'll adore the morality mechanic, the awesome dialogue, and the phenomenal world. Sadly, its slow start and repetitive quests hold it back.

These old ported Flash games were a great reminder of the old time. Places like Newgrounds and Kongregate still stand and are doing great things, but it’s nice to revisit the old stick figure shows and Stickman Adventure games. New times aren’t completely bad, even SoulGames made a new game for Steam called Neverseen. It has a lot of what they specialized in, and has their signature art as well. But Swords and Souls Legacy Collection is definitely good to playthrough.

Closer The Distance is a hard game to get through. Not because it is difficult but because of the emotional rollercoaster it took me on. Each character has their grief that the player has to help them through, and the interactions between the various characters in Yesterby are intricate and complicated. It’s a powerful narrative, held back by some clunky controls on the console and some lulls in the gameplay. The game is still vital in pushing game narratives in directions that I don’t see too often. This game is worth checking out if you can handle the emotional journey it takes you on.

Slayers X truly is a throwback to the past. For players seeking a retro arcade shooter, all the ingredients are here but with added vulgarity and punk rock mayhem. This is never going to blow people away with its gameplay and visuals but it doesn’t care and I can truly admire a game that just wants to have fun. Whilst the story is forgettable, the soundtrack kept me wanting to replay levels just to hear those songs again. In a gaming world where developers are constantly trying to iterate and innovate, it is bizarrely refreshing to experience a game that is so old school. See you in the 90’s!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a wonderful RPG. A spiritual successor to Suikoden, that will capture your imagination immediately. I loved the plot, the characters, and the modern aesthetics. Sadly, it isn't as original as Suikoden, but it is still worthy of your time.
