Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei was a pleasant experience and a title that surprisingly went beyond my expectations. If you’re an otome fan like me, this is a game you must add to your collection. While otome games aren’t for everyone, if you are interested in a good story or romancing pretty men, then Birushana is definitely worth checking out!- Movies Games and Tech

Freshly Frosted is a fun and sweet puzzle title. With an array of mechanics to overcome and many doughnuts to ice, you must be logical and patient to be victorious. Furthermore, it's wonderfully surreal and calm thanks to the pastel colour palette, serene music, and slow gameplay.- Movies Games and Tech

Spacelines from the Far Out is an excellent cooperative space sim. Design your transport agency and make as much money as possible. Work solo or with friends to appease passengers, repair your vehicle, and arrive safely at your destination. It is tough, fun, and filled with madness.- Movies Games and Tech

The Casting Of Frank Stone is an evolution of the formula Supermassive Games have been cultivating for years. A strong diverse cast with wonderful voice acting helps propel the intense and chilling moments on display in this horror tale. Great quality of life improvements and innovations create strong benchmarks for interactive games. Whilst a rushed and muddled final act and the lack of co-op hurt the games overall appeal, there’s more than enough for horror fans to enjoy. Dead By Daylight fans will have an absolute blast with this game, as I did. See you in the fog!- Movies Games and Tech

For fans of the original game, Aiko’s Choice is a solid, if not spectacular return to the series. A middling story and short length threaten to derail the game but thankfully with its addictive gameplay and gorgeous visuals, this game is certainly worth fans’ time. Coupled with superb sound design and a beautiful atmospheric score, the return to feudal Japan is a positive one.- Movies Games and Tech

Super Perils of Baking is a wonderful 2D platform-adventure title. Its old-school mechanics and familiar elements will fill you with nostalgia. However, its polished aesthetics and excellent level designs are great for a modern audience. Furthermore, it is tough, full of secrets, and oozes replay value.- Movies Games and Tech

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Staring Lara Croft is a fantastic trip down memory lane. Furthermore, the arenas, puzzles, and gameplay are as good today as they ever were. However, the controls are somewhat problematic and that was a shame. Yet, these issues are minor and will not undermine your enjoyment of a dated but fascinating adventure title.- Movies Games and Tech

Kandria is a grim and melancholy platforming experience that'll fascinate you from the off. With interesting characters, a sombre plot, and excellent aesthetics, it is worthy of your time. Its only downfall is its lack of a skill tree, its lacklustre combat, and its minimal upgrade elements.- Movies Games and Tech

Tales From Toyotoki: Arrival Of The Witch is a feat in visual art design and a compelling story of love, friendship and social hardships mixed in with fantasy mystery. With this being a visual novel, gameplay here is non-existent so it’s important to set your expectations right, but if you are looking for a gripping and intriguing story, this is the game for you. While I wish the game could have been just a little bit longer, the audio design and soundtrack help propel this into a truly memorable experience.- Movies Games and Tech

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter on PS4/PS5 is a loving time capsule. It’s not a modern game in structure or control feel, but for fans of Star Wars lore, especially the prequel trilogy and The Mandalorian-style bounty hunting fantasy, it offers a compelling ride. The upgraded performance makes it the best way to experience the game today, and the budget price makes it a fair pick-up for curious newcomers and nostalgic fans alike.- Movies Games and Tech

Teardown is easily one of the most creative and fun games I have played in very a long time. It’s a prime example of showcasing what is truly possible through the video game medium, and while the campaigns narrative is easily forgettable, the uniqueness of its gameplay more than make up for it. If you are looking for a game that is just downright entertaining, you could do a lot worse than Teardown.- Movies Games and Tech

Beholder 3 takes the best bits of the first two games in this series and blends them together to make a fun, dark, morally challenging point-and-click adventure. While slow in pace is still thoroughly enjoyable. If you like dystopian fiction, if you like puzzle-based point-and-click adventures, if you like strong narrative then Beholder 3 might just be the game for you. It’s one I will be playing again and again.- Movies Games and Tech

The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is a dark, sombre, and melancholy adventure RPG with a visual novel twist. You must pick your path, stand by your choices, and make your own fate. Will you be happy with your lot, or will you fight the establishment? With dated stereotypes and religious undertones, this is occasionally a tough title to experience. Who will Sir Brante grow up to be? The choice is yours, and yours alone.- Movies Games and Tech

This genre is a little saturated, and indie devs love to try different themes with limited originality. Thankfully, Ball x Pit is a unique hybrid that gets things right. Moreover, it is on Game Pass, and it’s great if you love handheld gaming.- Movies Games and Tech

Overall, The Disney Afternoon Friends Collection is a short walk through some of Nintendo’s classics, and while some games show their age, these titles managed to feel engaging even in the modern gaming landscape. For those who grew up with these games, this collection will be a surefire way of reliving those memories with a modern spin. With modern features that make older designs easier to handle, this collection is a solid way for both longtime fans and curious newcomers to revisit these classic Disney adventures.- Movies Games and Tech

Ingression is difficult, but it is satisfying to play. The levels I have played are unlike anything I have experienced in a platformer. Its flawless combination of platforming and portal gameplay is an excellent homage to the games that came before them while creating something unique and fun to play. While sometimes you can get disoriented by the portals, and the story is serviceable, the gameplay is excellent and a must-play for platformer fans everywhere.- Movies Games and Tech

I’m not going to say that Hymer 2000 is a game for everyone. Most people are looking for experiences that are filled with spectacle, excitement, and high levels of interactivity. In spite of this, those looking to be lost in other people’s heads (and willing to do a bit of detective work) may hail this as one of the more fascinating indie experiments of 2025.- Movies Games and Tech
